@pescatarian09 where is Mohammed then? I don't see him here.
Where is his hikmah? I see people Inc myself who are lost on various things. We know the fard but the sunnah is largely n/a now.
Where are your concubines mate? Where are your slaves, your sex slaves? Where are your mud/tent houses. How is war fought today?
I gave arguments but you chose to ignore them.
The verses you wrote were addresses to those whom they were given to directly first and foremost. In those verses the Muslims of that time/place who had the prophet amongst them were told to follow him.
Yet Muslims today think this means following hadith today in entirely different contexts. Even when many hadith are false and have no divine confirmation.
We read the Qur'an with some verses addressed to all of humanity. In the Qur'an sometimes the people of the book (at that time) were addressed. Yet you quote it all out of context like a fool as if it's written to you directly.
Throughout the Qur'an the word Hikmah is used and the word Arif/Marifa are used...people of knowledge, knowledge.
Knowledge is about absorbing contexts and understanding their place in time and the different ways the many prophets acted out if wisdom relevant to their time, place and context.
The Qur'an tells us to read the Torah and Gospel but you also diss the Qur'an by dissing them books. So contexts go out the window. You read hadith that have no divine confirmation that tell us Mohammed was having sex with a 9 yr old child.
No independent rational thinking of contexts.
Eg the hadith collections were all compiled by Persian imams. Why Persian? Because the Abbasids ruled from Persia so they got clever guys form their side of the street to push pro Abbasid hadith in opposition to the Shia camp
So Shia said Aisha was a total slag, shame on them, the Abbasids played the political came by pushing Aisha as a pure child bride.
Which imam/sheikh would present this argument to you? Yet it makes sense.
I'm not even dismissing all hadith. I'm arguing that they are historical sources of information with their own backstory.
You are want to read the Bible both the OT and NT too which have far more divine confirmation through a series of prophets right the way to Isa AS. Learn Jewish histkt and prophets, contexts etc.
That would help you understand your place today as a Muslim and where we stand.
Today the message in the NT of ISA AS is more relevant than the hadith.
If you fear corruption or confusion in this endeavour then pray to God to protect you and have honest intentions. When you die you have no one to blame but yourself if you had a poor understanding of history and contexts.
