Jesus gives Simon ("he who hears") the name Cephas ("rock", Peter is the Latin translation of this name).

So, Jesus calls Peter the Rock, but then when Jesus says "upon this rock I will build my Church", it doesn't refer to Peter? lol

My point is that you demand scripture to literally state "tri-une", "three-in-one", or whatever, regardless if we can infer it from scripture. The trinity is derived from inference to the best explanation / understanding of this divine mystery.

You cannot interpret any scripture to say the Logos is Michael the Archangel. You guys derive this from inference to the best explanation / understanding. The difference being that the Church with all the brightest minds of the Christian faith pondered and debated these questions for decades/centuries, and did, in my personal opinion, a much better job at it then the apostles of JAH.
