True, and Church is also going to pray and worship together with people of the same beliefs like Jesus and the apostles did.
That would be If God So Wills, He Will Provide you with the inclination to go OR invitation from a close friend to join a good gathering of sorts.

God Is The Gatherer.

You won't understand this but the REAL One doesn't care. He only cares about the sincerity of your heart, regardless of what your crazy or primitive beliefs are.
If that's the case, why did God need to send his son to earth?

Jesus is no more or less "divine" than Buddha, Krishna, Lao Tzu.

"No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path." -- Buddha

"The Tao(God/Nature) is not humane, it treats the 10,000 creatures (of which we are merely one) as straw dogs" (ie. expendable units). -- Lao Tzu

When goodness grows weak,
When evil increases,
I make myself a body.
In every age I come back
To deliver the holy,
To destroy the sin of the sinner,
To establish righteousness.
-- Krishna, Bhagavad Gita

The Bible says that gathering together with other believers is really beneficial for our spiritual growth. In the early Christian church in the New Testament, “going to church” wasn’t only about getting together once a week, it was about creating a habit that revealed to the outside world what the early church valued which was community and the risen Jesus.

So the early church is an example to us, to show us why church, or gathering together for worship and study, was important as well as why attending church might be useful for our own spiritual journey.

Biblically God wants his people to meet together regularly so they can inspire and support one another to live a life of love and doing good, and also to recognize each other’s strengths, spiritual gifts, and roles that we can play as members of the body of Christ, also known as the church, "For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one” (Romans 12:4-5).

Buddha was a great truthseeker 500 years before Jesus, but the fact remains he was just a human giving us his best guesses and hunches, some of which hit the mark and some of which were very off target, like that one you quoted..:)

Jesus called himself the son of Man, not the son of God.

Jesus called himself the son of Man, not the son of God.
He called himself both, the "son of man" simply reminded people that he was a regular guy born of a human woman like them.
At other times he said straight out he was the Son of God as well..:)-

The whole wide world is His church just like the human body is His temple...

Pray wheresover you may be.

Paul said: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? …

The temple of God is holy, which temple ye are” (1 Corinthians 3:16–17).

Your body is a temple for your spirit.

Just as you treat temples with respect, you should treat your body with respect.

The Son of man was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.

Hebrews 1:8-14:

But to the Son He says:

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

And:
“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

They will perish, but You remain;
And they will all grow old like a garment;

Like a cloak You will fold them up,
And they will be changed.
But You are the same,
And Your years will not fail.”

But to which of the angels has He ever said:

“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

2 Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
