That is not true at all.

Biblically the Israelites and Jews went to synagogue on the Sabbath and so did Jesus who was God (Mark 1:21, 6:2; Luke 4:16, 6:6). Over and over again, we see Jesus in the synagogue on the Sabbath. We’re even told that it was His custom to be there on that day. The apostles went to the synagogue on the Sabbath too as we can see clearly in the book of Acts (Acts 13:14, 42, 18:4).

After God gave Moses the ten commandments of which the fourth is about the Sabbath, He later gave the Israelites more details about the Sabbath including meeting on the Sabbath, "Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings” (Leviticus 23:3). The word “convocation” means a public meeting/gathering. The Sabbath is a time for God's people to gather and have worship services.

Moreover, in Isaiah, we read, “It shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD” (Isaiah 66:23). The righteous will keep the Sabbath in heaven and the new earth and this passage is talking about the coming together for worship in on the Sabbath for eternity.

Nowadays (since the New Covenant) its only churches that Christians should meet in, and only those that observe the true Sabbath of God. Unfortunately that is not most them.

It goes without saying that no Christian should meet in synagogues nowadays that are only for Jews who are not Christian and do not believe in Jesus Christ as Messiah. The same goes for Mosques. Obviously Muslims are not Christians, they do not believe in Jesus Christ, do not teach about or meet on the Sabbath or indeed teach about and keep any of the ten commandments of the Bible. They do not believe in the God of the Bible either.

God has told us clearly in His Word how to keep the Sabbath holy. We also see it through the actions of Jesus and the apostles.
None of the verses you have provided prove any of the points you're trying to make. In fact, they prove the exact opposite to be true.

Where in the Old Covenant did the Israelites go to a synagogue on the Sabbath day please? You quoted Leviticus 23:3, which plainly states: it is the sabbath of the LORD in ALL OF YOUR DWELLINGS”.

Please note well it doesn't say "it is the Sabbath of the LORD so you should assemble in the synagogue, church, temple, etc." The assembly was always of each family ("where two or three are gathered", within their own dwelling. It was only three times a year when the tribes assembled to have The Law read to them (also detailed in Leviticus 23).

This man-made tradition of going to a building to conduct religious rites and rituals was fought against by the disciples and apostles as well. Please see the following, where Paul admonished that practice.

1 Corinthians 11:20-22
11:20 When ye come together therefore into one place, [this] is NOT to eat the Lord's supper (the bread and the wine).
11:21 For in eating every one taketh before [other] his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
11:22 What? HAVE YE NOT HOUSES TO EAT AND TO DRINK IN? Or despise ye the community of God, and embarrass them that are poor [and have not]? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I PRAISE [YOU] NOT.

Jesus never claimed to be God. When correctly understood, there isn't one single verse in the entire Gospel, where Jesus -- the Son of Man born of the virgin Mary in Bethlehem of Judea (on Earth) -- ever claimed to be God. Christ, through the mouth of Jesus plainly stated that He was the Son of God, i.e. the CREATED offspring of God. That's why Christ referred to God as His Father and His God (see: Matt. 27:46; John 20:17; and Rev. 3:12). How could The Most High God have an God, or an equal? Father (God) very obviously doesn't have an equal.

Belief in the pagan "trinity" is breaking of the First and Most Important Commandment. And going to church, like the heathens and the hypocrites do (Matt. 6:5-8) -- in a place where God does NOT dwell (Acts 7:48; 17:24) -- and encouraging others to do the same, is breaking the Second Great Commandment.

Mark 12:29-31
12:29 And Jesus answered him, The First of all the Commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is ONE Lord (NOT a 3=1 "trinity"):
12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength and serve Him ONLY: this [is] the first COMMANDment.
12:31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other COMMANDment greater than these.

We NEED to get rid of our man-made traditions and learn to keep the Commandments, including honoring the Sabbath, exactly as Father (God) and His Christ (The One Whom God anointed) have COMMANDED us to do in The Law that God gave us (Matt. 5:17-20; John 7:16-17).

You are wrong and it is not biblical at all. In the Bible God's people met on the Sabbath, and we have to as well. Especially if we want to follow Christ's example.

Here is one more verse from the New Testament about gathering/assembling together. "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25).

When we become Christians we are saved into the body of Christ, which is another name for the church, "And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all" (Ephesians 1:22-23). In Acts 2:47, the Bible says, “And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”

When you are baptized, you become part of Christ’s body and enter into the church, "But now indeed there are many members, yet one body" (1 Corinthians 12:20).

Why would a person say he or she loves God but doesn’t wish to fellowship with His people? One of the reasons God wants us in church is because it has people with similar beliefs. It helps bolster our faith and makes us accountable to one another. Even in churches where there are some difficult people, it is the best environment to increase our capacity to learn to love one another. Part of the Christian experience is having a relationship with a fellowship of believers.

When someone lives as a hermit from society, he or she tends to become eccentric. Isolating oneself from others begins to affect the mind; the brain atrophies. You become socially inept. In the same way, it’s important for Christians to be social with fellow believers in corporate worship and gatherings to avoid becoming spiritually eccentric and inept. Church is part of God’s gift, so Christians should do their very best to find a biblical church in which they can grow into mature members of God’s family. 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, "For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many."

In John 13:35 Jesus says, “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” He knew that the love and unity of the church could be a powerful part of our witness to the world in the last days. Conversely, the devil surely realizes that the world would disbelieve by our division. He has been working toward that goal since the beginning.

Think of the devil as a wolf stalking a lamb. He knows that as long as the lamb is with the flock or close to the shepherd, the lamb is safe. But if the wolf can chase and scatter the flock from the shepherd and from one another, he can easily bring down a lamb that has strayed. The devil wants to separate from the flock the lambs (baby Christians who are more vulnerable) so he can destroy them.

As it says in Hebrews 10:25, we need to be firmly committed to corporate worship and assembly-especially “so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Do you see the day of the Lord approaching?

This is from my thread, Does God have a Church?

When you study the entire Bible about assembling on the Sabbath, the clear message is we have to do it. I've posted some of the reasons why above.

I am not going to discuss with you again about whether Jesus is God or not. I know He is and His Word/the Bible makes that clear as well like in John 1:1-4, 14 which say, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

That goes for the God head too:

Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

2 Corinthians 13:14, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen."

Ephesians 4:4-6, "There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."

1 Peter 1:2, "elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ."

1 Timothy 1:17, "Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."

Your problem will always be that you believe in other pagan gods who are not of the Bible. That is why you distort God's Word to suit your other pagan beliefs. You know you can't do that right? Anything that is not of God's Word cannot harmonise with the Bible. You can't serve two masters.

1 Kings 18:21, "And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word."

The Scripture has been provided to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that everything that's been personally shared is true and correct. There is only ONE God, as Christ plainly stated: our Father, which art in heaven (Matt. 6:9-13). No one else but Father is perfect (Matt. 5:48) nor good (Matt. 19:17).

And there is no need of man-made temples, churches, mosques, synagogues, etc., which are all places of business, built to sell people their product: the illusion of salvation.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Please take the time to review the information and Scripture that's been shared, IF obeying The Law/Commandments of God and Christ's Teachings about them is important to you.

Peace be upon you.

Yes the spirit of God dwells in us, and we are the temple of God but that does not mean the Bible is contradicting itself when it says we have to assemble on the Sabbath. Those two points do not cancel out each other. Being a Christian is being part of a community, its being part of the body of Christ. We are not islands, so that even in heaven God's people will assemble on the Sabbath as I've shown you from the book of Isaiah. Except in heaven we will be with Christ physically too.

Always remember that the Bible harmonises and never works against itself. Its only those who misinterpret it (intentionally or unintentionally) that make the Word of God seem like it contradicts itself.

You do not believe in God's Word fully because you have other beliefs that go against it, that much is clear. You pick and choose what you want to believe and discard the rest because it doesn't go hand in hand with your beliefs.

Of course the Bible doesn't contradict itself, which is why what you are interpreting it to mean is in error. The very verses you quoted as proof that we should assemble ourselves in places where God does NOT dwell (because they are satanic), are further proof that we should NOT BE GOING TO CHURCHES, etc. where only heathens and hypocrites go to be seen by others, exactly as Christ said (Matt. 6:5-8)

Hebrews 10:24-29
10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]*; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the Knowledge of The Truth, THERE REMAINETH NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS,
10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of Judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
10:28 He that despised Moses' Law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of The Covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

*the manner of the heathens and hypocrites, who assemble themselves together in man-made temples, i.e. a den of thieves and robbers.

Doing the exact opposite of what Christ teaches is to trodden under foot the Son of God through disobedience.

Christ said: "where TWO OR THREE are gathered together in my name, THERE am I in the midst of them".

Where did Christ tell anyone to go to a synagogue, church, mosque, temple, etc.? He didn't, did He?

Those two points do not cancel out each other.
Of course they don't. And yet that is exactly what all church-going "Christians" are attempting to do, by pretending that we should be going to man-made temples after Christ said only heathens and hypocrites do that, which is why the disciples and apostles said God does NOT dwell in such places.

Acts 7:48 Howbeit the Most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

Acts 17:22-25
17:22 Then Paul stood in the midst of [the court at] Mars' hill, and said, [Ye] men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your gods that ye worship, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, Him declare I unto you.
17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and Earth, dwelleth NOT in temples made with hands;
17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed any thing, seeing He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Why would anyone assemble in a satanic place of business, where God does NOT dwell? And why would anyone do such a thing on the Sabbath Day, which God set aside for us to rest from the world, to be WITH Him and get to know more about His Perfect Mind through a careful study of His Law (found in the first five books of the Bible)? How is it keeping the Sabbath Day holy by going to a satanic place of business, where God does NOT dwell?

It is by these traditions that we make the Commandments of God of no effect (Matt. 15:3-6).

Being a Christian is being part of a community, its being part of the body of Christ.
The community/body of Christ are the Elect, i.e. those called out from the world and its traditions and ways. THAT is what the Greek word "ekklesia" actually means; it very clearly does NOT mean "church".

We are not islands, so that even in heaven God's people will assemble on the Sabbath as I've shown you from the book of Isaiah.
Have you? Where does Isaiah specifically tell us we will assemble in churches on the Sabbath day in heaven please? The same Isaiah who warned us against ALL political and religious so-called leaders?

Isaiah 3:12-15
3:12 [As for] My people, children [are] their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people, they which lead thee cause [thee] to err, and lead thee astray, to thy destruction.
3:13 The "I AM" standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
3:14 The "I AM" will enter into Judgment of the elders of His people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the share that belongs to the poor [is] in your houses.
3:15 What mean ye [that] ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the "I AM" Lord of hosts.

Please also see: Revelation 21:1-3; 10, 22-23 (please read the entire chapter)
21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new Earth: for the first heaven and the first Earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
21:2 And I John saw the Holy City, "New Jerusalem", coming DOWN from God OUT OF HEAVEN, prepared as a Bride adorned for her husband.
21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of God [is] with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.

21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great City, the Holy Jerusalem, DESCENDING OUT OF HEAVEN from God,

21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are The Temple of it.
21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the Light thereof.

Except in heaven we will be with Christ physically too.
Agreed, IF we survive Judgement Day.

Always remember that the Bible harmonises and never works against itself. Its only those who misinterpret it (intentionally or unintentionally) that make the Word of God seem like it contradicts itself.
Agreed. That's exactly how we can know for certain that there is only ONE God, Who is NOT a "trinity", and how we can know that we were are not meant to assemble inside of man-made temples.

You do not believe in God's Word fully because you have other beliefs that go against it, that much is clear.
It may be that's how you see it, through human eyes, but the exact opposite is actually true. We can and should obey God in ALL things. And that begins with searching for God where He said He would be, rather than where humans pretend He will be, i.e. in the places they have built with their own hands, of their own will, to continue their own traditions, NONE of which is God's Will.

You pick and choose what you want to believe and discard the rest because it doesn't go hand in hand with your beliefs.
Also not true. When the churches and their leaders, who are repeatedly condemned throughout Scripture, add or subtract from God's Word, it is very obvious (sticks out like a sore thumb), and thus needs to be returned to the original text that God provided us, which is always in perfect agreement.

A perfect example of this is you quoting Matthew 28:19 as alleged proof of the "trinity", where the phrase "Father, Son and Holy Spirit" was ADDED by the church, as Christ gave no such Command.

How can we know this with absolute certainty? Because IF Christ had actually instructed His Disciples to go out and baptize others in THAT name, then ALL of the disciples and apostles disobeyed Him, as not one single disciple or apostle ever baptized anyone in "the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit".

Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 8:12 “But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Acts 8:16 “For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 10:48 “And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Acts 19:5 “When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 22:16 “And now why tarriest you? arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Romans 6:3 “Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

1 Corinthians 1:13 “Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were you baptized in the name of Paul?” [Implied]

Galatians 3:27 “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

So should Matthew 28:19 read “baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” or “baptizing them in My name.” And based on your conclusion, which of the following is correct?

Colossians 2:12 “Buried with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in baptism, wherein also you are risen with them through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised them from the dead.
or
Colossians 2:12 “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised him from the dead.

Christ not only honoured the Sabbath throughout his life upon the earth, but he provided that its sacred claims should be remembered and honoured after his death and resurrection. When warning his disciples of the destruction of Jerusalem, which did not take place until forty years after his ascension, he said, "But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day; for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time." In accordance with his instruction, the followers of Christ were enabled to depart from the besieged city, and escape to the mountains, not taking their flight either in the winter, nor upon the Sabbath day. After the death of Christ the disciples "rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment." After the ascension of Christ, Paul, the great apostle to the Gentiles, preached to both Jews and Gentiles "on the Sabbath day."

Then how can we account for the observance of the first day of the week by the majority of professed Christians, when the Bible presents no authority for this change either in the precepts or in the example of Christ or his followers? We can account for it in the fact that the world has followed the traditions of men instead of a "Thus saith the Lord." This has been the work that Satan has always sought to accomplish,—lead men away from the commandments of God to the veneration and obedience of the traditions of the world.

17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and Earth, dwelleth NOT in temples made with hands;
17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed any thing, seeing He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

The community/body of Christ are the Elect, i.e. those called out from the world and its traditions and ways. THAT is what the Greek word "ekklesia" actually means; it very clearly does NOT mean "church".

Agreed, IF we survive Judgement Day.

Agreed. That's exactly how we can know for certain that there is only ONE God, Who is NOT a "trinity", and how we can know that we were are not meant to assemble inside of man-made temples.

And of course you have the gnosis to all things of GOD that what ever freeman says is the real truth. cuz ajh told him LOL dude seriously.

Probably the same people who decided that Jesus was born on Dec 24th, while the evidence points to his birth being in warmer months.
Have you noticed how the story of Jesus practically mirrors that of Horus? You know that 1 eyed dude whose always getting referenced here?

I"m sure most people have noticed that all of the English days are named after pagan gods. Including sUn-day.

Alot of common, everyday English has pagan roots if one bothered to look into it.
