What proof would someone need in order to believe in God?

Likewise. Just don't throw the baby out with the bathwater (i.e. don't throw the Bible and Quran out because of the satanic priests/imams, etc. that use and abuse those texts for profit and control over others).

Very few here realize they aren't the human they temporarily live inside of, or that there is a higher purpose to life.
I think most people here hope there's a higher purpose to what appears to be chaos. Few may even think (or believe) they are a soul in a physical body. DARN few have actually had an experience out of their body. My main problem with Western religions is that few have any idea of the difference between having a "relationship" with God or enlightenment; where you become One with God. I was raised a Christian but I was destined to leave it by the time I was four.

Agreed. But those that have, and thus realize they are NOT the human body they only temporarily incarnate, have an obligation to share that truth with others, who may still believe in the satanic lie "we are only human after all".

My main problem with Western religions is that few have any idea of the difference between having a "relationship" with God or enlightenment; where you become One with God. I was raised a Christian but I was destined to leave it by the time I was four.
ALL organized religions, including "Christianity", were created by Lucifer/Satan/Iblis (The Opposer, devil/liar). They ALL teach the exact opposite of what God teaches in and through His Word, and thus are leading their followers AWAY from God and spirituality.

The Old Covenant/Testament, New Covenant/Testament and the Koran/Quran provide this world with written proof and confirmation of The Law (the criterion for judging right from wrong), the prophecies, and the life example, through the prophets and finally through the ultimate example, when the immortal spiritual-Being Prince Michael/Christ incarnated the body of Jesus 2000 years ago.

The reason it was necessary to put these things in writing is because human+Beings had stopped listening to God -- Who speaks to all of us telepathically, to guide and teach us -- and thus were thus doomed to the unavoidable consequences that follow the resulting ignorance. Anyone can stumble through a human lifetime without any real awareness of their surroundings, or without knowing who and what they really are. 6000 years of human history is proof of this fact. But to those who read Scripture with an open mind, and humbly ask God for His Guidance in understanding it, a much larger, spiritual world is opened, restoring that lost, telepathic connection with our Creator.

Having a true relationship with God IS enlightenment, just as enlightenment is the natural byproduct of drawing nearer to God, and getting to know Him and His Christ on a personal level. How else could anyone know what God wants them to do in the moment, to share His Love (He is THE Source of Love) with others.

John 17:3 And THIS is Life Eternal, that they might KNOW Thee the ONLY True God, and Christ the Saviour, whom Thou hast sent.

Please note well it doesn't say anything about going to a church, mosque, synagogue or temple, etc. Nor does it say anything about doing what a priest, pastor, rabbi, imam or "sage", etc. tells you to do. In fact, a thorough examination of Scripture reveals that these institutions and their snake-oil sales force are repeatedly CONDEMNED throughout.

All it says it that true, eternal (spiritual) life DEPENDS upon KNOWING the Only True God AND Christ the Saviour, whom God sent. And the ONLY Way to do that in every moment and decision of our lives is to be in constant communication with them, which is only possible via telepathy (spiritual communication, which requires spiritual eyes and ears).

No human can understand this, nor anything else spiritual, just as no human can appreciate an "out of body" experience, because they ARE the body and cannot be outside of it. Only a spiritual-Being (Soul) can understand this and use telepathy, aka one's "conscience" or "the inner voice" that warns us of impending danger and guides us to do the right/good/loving thing in the moment, IF we are listening.

I don't believe in any anthropomorphized version of evil. When you personify a concept, you give it a mind of its own. You give evil too much credit. It's simply the other end of the spectrum of good. Evil feeds off itself. But if you sleep better with a monster under your bed, go ahead and believe it, I guess.

Do you not see the above statement as self-contradictory? It also completely ignores the massive amount of evil and hatred that goes on here on Earth everyday, i.e. the thoughts, words and yes, the evil actions of people carried out against one another.

Every single lie is evil.

Every single truth is good; whether it is accepted as such or not.

The monster isn't underneath the bed; the monster is inside each and every one of us. It manifests itself as the ego/"self" (again, exactly as Scripture has truthfully told us for thousands of years).

Some choose to sleep with the enemy. Others choose to awaken and fight to get rid of it.

When does something hot turn cold? When does good turn evil? One side's terrorist is the other side's freedom fighter. Good and evil is a personal opinion. I'm sure you think something is evil that I consider simply ignorance or a nuisance, and vice versa. Often evil is something we may have to choose the lesser of. Would you lie to feed your children? Buddhists have no need for a God yet there are great truths in Buddhism, yet I bet you scoff at those as you did Lao Tzu's. One of the things we're here to learn is how to transcend Duality. Good will never triumph over evil and evil will never triumph over good. It's an Eternal struggle at this level of existence. It all goes away in the next.

When does something hot turn cold?
Never. Do you need to poor a cup of boiling water in your lap to figure that out? Or break the ice off of a pond to go for a swim?

When does good turn evil?
Never. Theft will always be evil. Adultery will always be evil. Murder will always be evil. Lies will always be evil. None of these things will ever be good.

And conversely, treating others with kindness, justice, respect and selflessness will never be evil.

One side's terrorist is the other side's freedom fighter.
In the opinions of men and the government propaganda machines (the media) perhaps. But not in reality.

Good and evil is a personal opinion.
In your opinion. In reality both have been defined by our Creator, making it easy for anyone who wishes to differentiate between the two to do so. Of course most don't care.

I'm sure you think something is evil that I consider simply ignorance or a nuisance, and vice versa.
Which is why NONE of our opinions matter. Personal opinions belong to the “self”, whereas immutable truth belongs to our Creator, and to those who cherish it.

Often evil is something we may have to choose the lesser of.
Perhaps in the mind of a complete lunatic, but in reality there is ALWAYS a choice between good and evil.

A woman cannot get a little bit pregnant; she’s either pregnant or she isn’t. And similarly, if something isn’t good, then it’s evil.

Perhaps you don't even see how delusional it is to claim to be able to differentiate between different levels of evil, while at the same time being unable to differentiate between good and evil?

Would you lie to feed your children?
Where do you think hypothetical questions like this one originate? And by what standard would you measure one’s answer?

Buddhists have no need for a God yet there are great truths in Buddhism, yet I bet you scoff at those as you did Lao Tzu's.
Only a complete fool, deceived by their own arrogance, would believe they have no need for their Creator. Truth is truth, regardless of where it is written or who believes it.

One of the things we're here to learn is how to transcend Duality.

More irrational, self-contradictory nonsense. If good and evil don’t exist, then how could there be a struggle between them, at any level of existence? The ONLY Way evil goes away is when a soul – of its own free-will – chooses to eradicate it by overcoming the “self”.

There is no other path that leads to the next life.

Total nonsense.

But then again, for those poor, diseased souls who don’t know the difference between good and evil, there’s no hope of differentiating between the truth and total nonsense. In fact, they actually prefer the total nonsense to the truth.

There is actually no proof at all required to believe in An Obviously Higher Power Responsible for all of everything.

Science having somehow realized that the universe is constantly expanding and the fact that the human being who is alive for instance (and for sure, among other species of creatures too), is also constantly expanding and contracting, albeit to limited extents, through constant inhalations and exhalations, and even knowledgeable memory awareness and any other form of consciousness.

It certainly tells me that there will come a time when the Big Crunch will take place, which is that the universe will stop expanding and start contracting so as to return to that single point where God Made it start expanding in all directions to begin with, whereby planets, suns, stars, and everything else started to be Formed gradually.

Yse, perhaps the universe is like a gigantic spark plug expanding after the Big Bang,, then slowing down, then crunching back in on itself to spark another Big Bang or "generation" and so on, time after time.
We could speculated that's what Jesus meant when he spoke of "this generation".

The "Big Bang" isn't some supposedly original scientific hypothesis; it is straight out of the Bible, and confirmed by the Koran/Quran.

Genesis 1:3-4
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4 And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Sura 2:117. To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the Earth: when He decreeth a matter, He saith to it: "Be," and it is.
