Either that or:

"A sockpuppet is an online identity used for purposes of deception. The term, a reference to the manipulation of a simple hand puppet made from a sock, originally referred to a false identity assumed by a member of an Internet community who spoke to, or about, themselves while pretending to be another person."

It is a rather nasty practice, yes.
King of kings' Bible
Ecclesiastes
7:26 And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart [is] snares and nets, [and] her hands [as] binders: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.
7:27 Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, [weighing] one thing after another, to find out the reason:
7:28 Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.
7:29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many tricks.

Stephen the martyr, in Acts chapter 7:

Acts
7:29 Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian [Midian], where he begat two sons.
7:30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
7:31 When Moses saw [it], he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold [it], the voice of the Lord came unto him,
7:32 [Saying], I [AM] the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob/Israel. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.
7:33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
7:34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of My people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.
7:35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? The same did God send [to be] a Ruler and a Deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.
7:36 He brought them out, after that he had showed wonders and Signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years.
7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
7:38 This is he, that was in the community in the wilderness with the angel which spoke to him in the Mount Sinai, and [with] our fathers: who received the "Oracles of Life" to give unto us: (The "Oracles of Life" : God's Law - The Torah)
7:39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust [him] from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,
7:40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for [as for] this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.
7:41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
7:42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the Book of the Prophets, O ye House of Israel, have ye offered to Me slain beasts and sacrifices [by the space of] forty years in the wilderness?
7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
7:44 Our fathers had The Tabernacle of Covenant in the wilderness, as He had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
7:45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Joshua into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
7:46 Who found favour before God, and desired to find a Tabernacle for the God of Jacob/Israel.
7:47 But Solomon built him an house.
7:48 Howbeit the Most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
7:49 Heaven [is] My throne, and Earth [is] My footstool: what house will ye build Me? saith the Lord: or what [is] the place of My rest?
7:50 Hath not My hand made all these things?
7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit: as your fathers [did], so [do] ye.
7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? And they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
7:53 Who have received The Law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept [it].
7:54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with [their] teeth.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, THAT shall he also reap.

Deuteronomy
30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
30:16 In that I command thee this day to love the "I AM" thy God, to walk in His Ways, and to keep His Commandments and His Statutes and His Judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the "I AM" thy God shall bless thee in the land where thou goest to possess it.
30:17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
30:18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, [and that] ye shall not prolong [your] days upon the land, where thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
30:20 That thou mayest love the "I AM" thy God, [and] that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He [is] thy Life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the "I AM" sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob/Israel, to give them.

Those who will not live by The Law will die by The Law.

I don’t wish to be disparaging or rude to you guys, and if you want the benefit of the doubt you can have it.

The issue is that the JAH information clearly echoes the kind of deception we are counselled you avoid in the last days, and it is obviously out of step with any “normal” understanding of scripture.

To find a number of people apparently so convinced of such a view in one place is like going into a pub and finding three guys who are convinced that the moon is made of cheese. It is possible that you might, but it’s unlikely!

In any event, you choose who you trust and live with the consequences.

Identifying false prophets is not a relinquishing of my God-given femininity which I embrace and love. The only means of rebuttal you seem to have when I critcise something is to write it off as a feminist response. Yet you still have not responded to the post I made about all the women God used in the bible, some of whom occupied positions that required them to not only speak but to judge and prophecy. I'll take God's Word over that of a fallible man. As I said before, enjoy the rest of your day.

Hi Robin,

Would a false prophet be telling you the truth? Remember, the same accusations were being made against Jesus:

Matthew 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be AS his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more [shall they call] them of his household?

(As well as Matthew 10:22).

You have been shown a lot which may be new (to you) information. A suggestion therefore, to you and others: Perhaps its time to take a step back and then when you are calm and not emotional, take your time to thoroughly investigate all of this at your own pace.

The Book "The Way home or face The Fire" explains everything in detail, with scriptural references that you can check for yourself, throughout. I would therefore like to invite you and others to put aside any preconceived ideas that you may hold based on what you have been told (and thought to be true) in the past (and everyone has them) and then, once you calm; and ready, then take your time to read, study and digest what it says.

Only once you have FINISHED doing that, which is your due diligence, then will you know what we are talking about and perhaps we will be able to have a more fruitful and helpful discussion.

Remember, a false prophet will not be telling you the truth. All of this is testable. You have to investigate it and test it. I hope, that you will take time to do this. What have you got to lose? Except illusions - and the more of those that anyone can lose, the better off any of us can be for having done it.

In order to learn the Truth it needs to be digested. A quick skim through it will not suffice.

Hope you will have a good day.

Peace be upon you and withing you.

Ephesians
6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth, and having on the Breastplate of Righteousness;
6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
6:16 Above all, taking the Shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
6:17 And take the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is The Word of God:
6:18 Praying constantly (without ceasing) with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all holy people;

If I may just carry on a bit, to fully answer this issue. I'm not going to deliberately insult you. And it's all very interesting and deadly serious anyway.

You insinuated that we were sock-puppeting when we weren't. That's not ladylike to me. And as the Koran says, men only have a "degree of advantage" (Sura 2:226) above women; a degree. And we see the standards of behaviour for both genders much higher than what we encounter. Applies to us particularly.

But about women generally: I made this site promoting a soon-to-be very famous God-fearing woman, whose autobiography JAH put in His Bible; she's already a bit famous. And she's probably going to outstrip all those, yes, worthy Bible-women that you quoted.

Her story is a blockbuster, and she wrote it in the most phenomenal rhyming verse; but I can't seem to get women to read it!! because we've been prejudged! How weird is that?

OK.

In what way is this pitch different to a Jehovah’s Witness insisting that the only way you can have a valid opinion is after you have spent a long time reading their New World translation and Watchtower Magazine?

JAH clearly teaches a different, works based “gospel” that seeks to undermine the significance of the Atonement and elevate the Qur’an to one of equality with the Bible. As both these are pretty fundamental, I think I would rather trust the Lord Jesus Christ to be my way home and leave the fire to Him.

Hi Red Sky,

We have had personal experience witnessing to Jehovah's Witnesses, which was written about previously here. I don't have the thread handy at this moment, but if/when it's remembered I'll give you the link.

"The Way home" By JAH does not take a very long time to read. Roughly about a weekend can be enough time, depending on reading speed. It's a "little book" (Rev. 10:2)

The Jehovah's Witnesses, although they have some things right that other churches and groups don't, were shown what it says in Luke:

Luke 10:7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go NOT from house to house.

We had interesting and cordial discussions with them, but, as they could not refute what it says in The Way home or face The Fire, they finally gave up on trying to convert us.

I'll see if I can remember/find the link to that thread. Peace to you.

EDIT - Found it:

I have looked at the Jah Truth website that was linked multiple times in this thread and it's based on that assessment that I firmly reject the movement's teachings as I find it to contradict the Bible and Jesus's words himself. I've given a few of my reasons before and I see no reason to continue to flog a dead horse with this topic. I apologise if you found my responses "emotional", although I'm hard-pressed to see why if I'm honest. But all said in good faith. I'm confident in my walk with the Lord and I continue to humbly ask for His guidance and discernment in all things. God bless.

I had no idea that implying someone is a sockpuppet was considered feminist unladylike behaviour, @Phithx. Does Jah say anything about internet etiquette becoming of a woman? I cannot reconcile the Koran with the Bible as there are directly contradicting scriptures. Good for this lady but your sudden promotion of a woman doesn't do anything to change my opinion of what you've said so far in this area, nor will it get me to reconsider anything. I have my beliefs and convictions based on what I've seen of your site and what you've espoused here as well. I reject your movement based on doctrine, not my perception of how lowly you think of women. No malice intended, of course. If we're done now, I'll take my leave from this conversation in as ladylike a fashion as I can muster.
