Is it Ethical to Eat Meat?

Capitalist economic ideas are unethical to humans and animals because it sees living beings as a tool only to be exploited for personal gain. Instead of working together to advance themselves, people compete against each other to sell their labor to a corporation. And corporations only see their workers - or in the case of animals, livestock - as a number that will bring them money and they don't actually care about the individual life of the human or animal they are using. But it really has nothing to do with Marx specifically.

Idk, we have to minimize the pollution but also all the animal lives being wasted. Americans (and a lot of other "first world / developed" countries) consume excessive amounts of meat and protein in their diets, to the point of creating health issues. I think we should get rid of the meat and dairy lobbies (or basically all lobbies in general) and people should be educated on a proper balanced diet that has the correct amount of meat in it. Also much of our food is thrown away and food waste is a huge problem. If we minimize the amount of perfectly good food that's thrown in a landfill, that could greatly increase efficiency and less animal lives would be killed for absolutely no reason.

I am amazed that just being a decent and polite person is such a controversial concept here. It doesn't make someone some sort of tough guy to be rude behind a computer screen.

But honestly, that type of person is not okay. That type of person is insecure. Anyone can be a "badass" online.

This site in theory is directly attacking the system. If you are here to attack whoever actually criticitized the system- why even be here? Why not go to Facebook or watch Oprah Winfrey or Fox News? There are plenty of places to be a Donald Trump type. I don't even mind people thinking like that but look at how insecure they are that they have to attack anyone who threatens the hegemony of the system's narrative.

Anyways, even from a ruthless capitalist perspective..... quality beats quantity.... I mean what is rare is more valuable than what is common..... the person who throws a tantrum anytime you question "common sense"..... part of the reason for their tantrum is that their is nothing innovative about their thinking.... they are not particularly bright or intellectual and they merely repeat old cliches.... it is natural that they would feel inferior and insecure. we should just feel sorry for them. the world is a changing place.

There is a "dumb and proud" culture in the US and a lot of the people are just symptoms.

But as I've pointed out- they are merely symptoms. They are not deviating, they are being good dogs and obeying their programming. Of course they would feel insecure and hostile.

Same way you regulate any industry, really. It would benefit people and animals if they weren't permitted to load them with chemicals and cancer causing hormones which should be outlawed imo. And living conditions should be conducive to the animals health.

Instead, the mad scientists are running the show and screwing with genetics.. did you know featherless chickens are a reality now? That's wrong on so many levels. -.-

Now to continue, I sort of was more general in my last post. I would like to be more specific in the sequel, moving from the general to the specific.

And I can be very brief because the thinking in your post is very brief. The post just shows how simple-minded you are.
