Yeah, if they were truly exposed then they would be inoperable. SK gov't isn't going to allow any company, even one as large as Hive, to continue if they had actually taken money from loansharks. As a corporation/conglomerate, Hybe is prohibited from taking loans from illegal sources such as from loansharks because it will lose its license to operate...
Unless...
They did it prior to BT5's debut, and/or during their early debut years. See, some things made sense like the TV appearances, a lucky stage collab in 2014 during MAMA, but the intense popularity of GLAM early on and the suddenly good promotion, then the blackmailing incident, is suspicious. There's no direct evidence of loansharks, but Bang Pedo's bank account wasn't a bottomless pit so the surprise wealth and opportunities had to come from somewhere. BH was a company that nobody had heard of, and even with Pedo as the CEO, they didn't have the reputation to earn any kind of promotion or deals. (Think of groups from YG and SM that get a brand deal right as they debut). And maybe, just maybe, it was so long ago and BH was so unknown back then that they got away with it. That's all speculative, of course.
Would BH or Hive mess around with loansharks today? Lol, they make billions annually so no, I don't think so.
