It's incredibly sus. Snake.M has been doing the same type of scandals with their idols for the past 2 years. I don't like nct at all at this point, but how is this story spreading so much and not being repressed at all? It's like they are doing these types of things on purpose. Johnny and haechan's story was on the news being discussed. They obviously cleared it because none of their artists is evet on the actual news being talked about. I'm sorry but people need to start pressing the company. They always do these sketchy no details type stories. I noticed every nct member who's contract is coming up soon has been getting in trouble. I believe they try and trash their name in case they leave. It could be real, but if taeil was gonna leave how would he ever have a career. I believe anyone who thought about leaving is being gotten rid of strategically. I feel like I can figure out stuff easier cause tbh I don't really care about kpop like that.

You have to think if this was harry styles, people would want evidence. No way on earth a label drops someone from the company for an allegation. They would need proof he violated his contract or they would have to pay him money. At least some type of appropriate statement. Korea seems like a military state. There is no need for a proper trial or anything. But at the same time, they protect a lot of people who are definitely into sketchy stuff their are people in s/ m that were involved in burning sun but you will find nothing on it. Any pics gone within a day or two. They have sued people for less. Now Billboard is making articles the same day this is released? This is Nct's third scandal dealing with illegal activities in the past few months. Why didn't they interview them about the pics of some their people at hostess clubs in japan or being besties with y3kuz@ members? Allegedly.

I don't believe they are righteous people looking for justice. This is the same company that had underage children dance in basements for managers. Please. They need to investigate themselves.

I've noticed s.m seems different now. The company is in a shared building and they moved their artists dorms. I wonder if the company got taken over or something. Also taeyong went to the military before taeil. Just very weird. Usually I just roll with it, but every major news company is doing a story. I will never understand why k-dolls never try to defend themselves or get a lawyer.

I know twitter is a great source sometimes, but for a case to be filed you actually need some type of evidence. Spyware is a bad thing in korea and it is an issue, but where's the police, press conference, charges being formally pressed, lawyers. Is there no due process? It's a clear media blitzkrieg. They do these when they are trying to cover up something.

I exercise caution because the actual criminals use fake stories like these to get away with their dirt.

Also they will have to delete tons of nct content and edit videos. This may be an excuse to cover up evidence for something else.
Plus they know people are naive to believe it never question slander against such public figures. Scary times.

I really find this sus though I cant explain it.

Most definitely, but when I think about Mj even when multiple people sued at once, they still had to go to court, have due process and the entire thing has records available to the public. With k-media there is nothing, the company says something, the victim is always nameless, faceless and no live interviews are done. It's a very scary thing to live in a country where it's that easy to be framed. Especially when there are people that actually committed crimes and s//m helped cover it up. This is very odd, perhaps he was trying to do like Bk and sue and it didn't turn out well for him.

Idk, it's odd this is happening to the most quiet member too. I know nothing about him or 95 percent of the group, they all have mysterious backgrounds.

I'm not surprised they all turned quickly though. Eggso did the same thing with kris, luhan and tao. Cried, but then after a short while they acted like they never existed. Hopefully he's still alive and they didn't do this to get everyone to turn on him and not ask what happened.
you know, you bring up some good points. Many people are jumping the gun and believing the post. I like to think why him, why now. Even before the scandal, he had that accident, maybe he was supposed to d!e but didn’t so they found another way to get rid of him. I also agree that maybe he was trying to do a bk too. Also there is no proof that this happened. Let’s wait and see what happens in the case.

What if its distraction for someone elses or something bigger? Or just one huge fuck up to make him look worse than he is

Taeil would be an easy target, scapegoat. I'm waiting to see how it turns out before I make any misjudgements or assumptions for things

younger members are easier to control or manipulate but older idols seem to always be forced out of their groups with no protection or false narratives

What I question how on earth does an idol learn hacking? They are too busy to probably care about some random minors I don't know I cant put my finger on it yet but it seems as exaggerated as woojins situation and still he he an older quieter ex member of skz similar to taeil. We don't even know how crooked folk are in the higher ups but I know idol groups are heavily monitored so to say this went on for years? I don't know if I should believe it even the staff would've caught on to it

Yet there is never a face to the name with the accusations just an online account and text. Smths fishy

Its like I want to believe it because I know that's what the media wants us to believe
Yes!!! Amen. I’m like how is he going to be hacking, he don’t have no time. I think he must’ve pissed some elites off. He is not controllable anymore so they could possibly blackmail him.

also it’s weird that Runjun still gone too.

I wish I could frame this entire post but the highlighted part especially. Your last few posts have hit the nail right on the head.

I am on the fence about him being guilty but something is fishy here. Esem is deep with the government (Grandpa sending his idols to hang with officials and even the North) they are in bed with kakao and naver, wealthy ceos and the list goes on. If they don't want things to show up in the news they won't. Period. I have heard of terrible things that have happened in that company over the years but it was never mainstream news.

Maybe it is because Grandpa is gone and is not protecting his artists with an iron fist anymore?

Idol news is also notorious for covering up scandals that involve the 1%.

I also wonder if some s@s3ng planted it. It’s possible that maybe this isn’t what happened. I just don’t think this dude has time to be hacking. So far the plot has many holes so I’m on the fence too.

Guys not saying he is innocent or guilt-less but Taeil is just a scapegoat to protect the real masterminds. His case was reported in June 2024 before this massive deepfake epidemic started in SK. They are probably using him and IDOLS in general to save actors, musicians, chaebols and business men who tend to have more power in their system.

Definitely think there is more to this story.. I don’t think Taeil or any other idol is 100% innocent, however their labels program them from their trainee days and even facilitate some of their own questionable behaviour.
The problems for celebrities/ idols usually happens, when they can’t be controlled anymore or they are not conforming with the agenda that’s when they usually get hung out to dry by their handlers/undustry.

They usually throw idols under the bus because Idols don't have the same power and respect compared to other celebs in Korea. Like you said most of these idols debut very young and are heavily controlled by labels so instead of focusing on them we should focus on the system and the higher ups.

I know this is not related to the Taeil scandal but I want to post this because I find this behaviour creepy to say the least.

This is Onew SHINee's oldest member and leader he is turning 35 in a few months but he is acting like a baby in this clip promoting his next song his facial expressions looks so artificial too but the question is why? He's not the Maknae of the group nor did he have this image when he debuted? And he owns his company and is producer for his next album so can't blame SM for giving him that image either.

A 35 year old man doesn't act like this in real life and he's supposed to be the leader and the oldest member like do you imagine Suho or RM ever acting like this??

SHINee fans always think this is cute and find it endearing somehow that the the oldest member acts like a baby while the official maknae acts the most mature but Imo this is not funny or cute at all. In SHINee's case they are all in their 30s now and they should be expected to act like mature men and it's not like this only happens in SHINee because I have seen the fake maknae Vs real Maknae thing for other groups as well Including comments about Taeil being the "fake" maknaeof the group.

In the best case scenario Onew acting like this is to manipulate his fans to buy more albums and in the worst it is a way to make people forget about his sexual harassment scandal and both cases are bad.

People are always shocked when idols who have sweet, cute or modest image end up being the worst in the group but it does make sense in a certain perspective. The ones who are out there acting like f*CK boys on stage are probably not deprived and have their "needs" met by doing horny stuff on and off stage and their ego boosted by getting called hot and sexy all the time by women but those who don't get called "sexy" or don't have many female fans are deprived and could develop self-esteem issues about their "masculinity" and then they take it out on women or become incels when they don't get female attention. Obviously, this is not always the case but my point is don't take celebrities for face value. You can't trust someone if they appear modest or have an innocent baby like image.

Yes. If the allegations were true to what were being told, I don’t think they would be emotional about it. Haechan was most closest to Taeil so it is possible there’s more to the story. Haechan being nostalgic and watching content while teary eyed does show a possibility of other things going on. I do believe haechan may know what’s really going on which is why he is emotional.
Yes, I know Haechan is closest to Taeil because I'm also a NCT fan. But by being emotional, I didn't mean that the allegations against Taeil is true, that's why Haechan and Jungwoo were emotional in the live stream. What I meant by them getting emotional was that perhaps the story is not what we are being told, which is always the case. I guess the actual story and truth is something else which is being tried to hide that Haechan and Jungwoo definitely know, which is why they were emotional in the live stream. Not because the allegations that will be leveled against their member after their live stream will be true, they have to shut their mouth and remove their member from their Instagram page. To stamp out the allegations so that the actual story and truth remains hidden under its cover, especially to make people believe the allegations.

Just as a coin has two sides, every story also has two sides. We are always presented with that side of the story which is not true and which is distorted to suit convenience. But the other side of the story is never revealed to us, which is the actual truth that everyone in the industry knows about, which even Haechan and Jungwoo know about. Which both of them will not be able to reveal even if they want to because of the consequences nor will they be able to support and help their member. Because anyone who tries or has the courage to disclose the other side of the story and the truth either has their career ruined or is murdered and we all know it too well.
I don’t know much as of right now. Yeah, I agree that they have to do as told.
Yeah, we don't know the entire picture, so we can't say whether he is wrong or innocent.
Once you no longer want to obey, they air all your dirt to the public.
Yes, it is true but it does not always happen, it always happens with those who are innocent, who do not run according to the industry and who have the courage to go against the industry.

We will never hear anything wrong or negative against those celebrities, especially against the big celebrities who are puppets of the industry and government, who are loyal and who have strong connections with the industry and government. Who are protected by industry and government, who get the privilege of getting away with murder, filth and anything else. About whom and against whom we will never see any media, journalist or any social media influencer who has millions of followers talking, no matter how big a crime they have committed or in a scandal they are involved. Because the powerful people of the industry and the government are sitting to protect those celebrities, who control the entire ecosystem and everything. Which is enough to explain how things work, especially behind the scenes.

The entertainment industry and the government create fake scandals to hide their crimes, their filth, their scandals and to protect their people, especially to divert public's attention from them, celebrities are dragged into those scandals and the entire media and police is put behind them who are always in their pockets. Or a celebrity's drug, smoke, vape and drink scandal is made big. Which has been happening in SK for a long time and instances of this have also been shown in k-dramas and k-movies. Like in the drama "Pinocchio". So if the same thing is happening with Taeil or if the same thing was done to suppress the "Nth Room" scandal. Then this is nothing new or surprising.

Because when they see that they have succeeded in hiding a case, scandal or truth, especially in fooling the public, then they follow the same pattern in every case and scandal. Every country's government and entertainment industry does the same whether it is Hollywood, Bollywood, Korean or anyone else. Which I think is happening in his case also.

‘No country for women’: Korean rights group decries Telegram deepfake porn explosion...
Womenlink condemned the state in which crimes and violence targeting Korean women “are neither punished nor prevented” amid snowballing revelations of digital sex crimes on Telegram...

Womenlink released a statement on Monday condemning South Korea’s “broken society which has spawned over 220,000 perpetrators of sexual violence” and asking “how long Korea will ignore the abysmal state of affairs.”

“There are around 227,000 members of a Telegram channel that allows people to obtain sexually explicit images of their acquaintances in five seconds simply by sending a photo and paying a fee,” Womenlink wrote in its statement.

Members of a task force for responding to sextortion on Telegram hold a press conference in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, in March 2020 where they call for fundamental solutions to sexual exploitation on Telegram. (Kim Hye-yun/Hankyoreh)

Yes!!! Amen. I’m like how is he going to be hacking, he don’t have no time. I think he must’ve pissed some elites off. He is not controllable anymore so they could possibly blackmail him.
In America they did it mj, Dave Chappell or any celebrity that doesn’t comply. Sometimes it’s even fatal.
He might have to flee Korea for his own safety until the investigation is over.
