What did he do to this girl? Was he part of the nth room case too? Do you’ll think it’s possible it’s coordinated or that this was setup? How do we know the evidence is real? I’m not taking up for him just looking objectively.
At first I too was not believing his sexual harassment case. But when I read articles that NCT members have unfollowed him and when I checked it myself, I believed the news. Although I agree with you that this may also be a setup (that's why I am waiting for the other side of the story). Probably to tarnish his image and career as has always been the case in the entertainment industry when celebrities refuse to dance to the tunes of the industry, especially when they refuse to obey their orders. So if the same thing is happening with him or if he is genuinely wrong then sooner or later this thing will come to light. Because nothing remains HIDDEN forever, especially the TRUTH.

Yes. You are correct. I want to hear his side too. I need to see both sides to see what’s going on. Is this his actions catching up to him or is this is a setup?

Also, NCT unfollowing him could be because they were told to by Essem. I still want to see how this goes. Whether he goes to jail or things just fizzle out.
It sounds like he also may not follow orders either. We will surely find out what happens.

Guys I am just using this opportunity to say that I am almost 95% sure now that SHINee's Onew's sexual harassment scandal was real as well and SM only kept him because Jonghyun's death meant they needed a main vocal to continue earning from the group.
I too believe that Onew's sexual harassment case was probably real somewhere, which is why I never able to like him even though SHINee was my first and most favorite Kpop group. But I am not saying this because of any Kpop idol's sexual scandal. I have been believing this for the past six years. That's why I'm saying this.

Haechan and Jungwoo had a livestream before the news broke and they were crying so they most likely knew.

I too haven't been able to like him despite SHINee being my favorite group and now even more I will be wary of him bcz you can't trust SK men. Actually, I have more reasons to suspect him and I am still not sure if we should believe he really changed. At first I believed Shawols and gave him benefit of the doubt but when he released D1CE it had a lot of symbolism in the video and when I saw the live promotions he did on music shows I was put off by the way he looked and touched his female dancers...I will share the video once I find it. I also find it weird that he somehow became more "innocent" and "maknae" like in recent years particularly after 2020 I think but recently its so bad you can see how fake he looks when he tries to act baby. Also, since he moved agencies they have been styling him to look more handsome and sexually appealing which I find strange because this is a man who is in his 30s now. Like, why does he want to look more attractive now? I also read a letter he wrote in 2012 or something where he said he was so jealous of Jonghyun (something he has admitted in recent interview) because of his voice and because Jonghyun was more popular in girls which is suspicious. Also, I remember watching an interview where Jonghyun said he wasn't particularly close with Jonghyun while he was quite close with all the other members.

Also, he doesn't seem to have many female friends does he?? Key has a lot of female idol friends, Minho has friends among female idols and actresses he works with in dramas and Taemin is close to his female dancers but Onew doesn't seem to be close to females. Regardless, I just remembered his scandal now because Taeil apparently had a similar personality as him and was considered the "fake maknae" of the group despite being the oldest and his members also showered praises on him for being so kind and caring much like SHINee members do.

NCT members have unfollowed Taeil from their Instagram pages, which shows the authenticity and seriousness of the news, including the posts that shared by the victim.

The suspected victim has been posting about the situation since July along with a photo of a police report and the suspected victim is currently 18 and said this began 6 years ago when she was 12.

What he has done is extremely despicable and I wish that he is punished for this crime.

I am glad that 2024 is the year of revelations but I wish and pray that 2024 also becomes the year of justice for all sexual assault victims and murder victims. Especially for a female doctor from Kolkata, India who was brutally raped and murdered.

Yes, it is possible that SM asked the members to unfollow him from their Instagram pages and that is why the members did so. Because celebrities have to do what the industry tells them to do, whether they want to do it or not.
Haechan and Jungwoo had a livestream before the news broke and they were crying so they most likely knew.
Oh, I haven't seen the live stream of those two and surely they already knew about this news. But if they were crying then perhaps the story is not what we are being told. I wish his side of the story, especially the truth, comes out soon.

Yes. If the allegations were true to what were being told, I don’t think they would be emotional about it. Haechan was most closest to Taeil so it is possible there’s more to the story. Haechan being nostalgic and watching content while teary eyed does show a possibility of other things going on. I do believe haechan may know what’s really going on which is why he is emotional. I don’t know much as of right now. Yeah, I agree that they have to do as told.

I also think when you do what you’re told, the company will hide your dirt and pay others to keep quiet. Once you no longer want to obey, they air all your dirt to the public.

Half of S. Koreans have chronic anger issues: study...

About half of the South Korean population seems to be suffering from long-term repressed anger issues, with nearly 1 in 10 being severe cases, a local study revealed...

This is very serious. I also think Taeil could expose others who are involved too. Is he going to jail? Did he delete the photos from her phone or something too??

also, this is serious but sounds outlandish too. Like how would he even know a 12 year old girl? I refuse to believe he knows how to hack phones. How does he have time to do that when he is busy all the time?

maybe he paid someone to show him how to hack the phones. Also he could have found the girl on the dark web. It could be a fan from his show but it’s super weird.

This probably is going to affect the other NCT members projects too. They will lose fans too because of the information coming out.

also maybe he wanted to get out of the group too so he needed a way to get out even with the shame of being a criminal. If he doesn’t go to jail or he doesn’t get any charges then I will assume so.
It's incredibly sus. Snake.M has been doing the same type of scandals with their idols for the past 2 years. I don't like nct at all at this point, but how is this story spreading so much and not being repressed at all? It's like they are doing these types of things on purpose. Johnny and haechan's story was on the news being discussed. They obviously cleared it because none of their artists is evet on the actual news being talked about. I'm sorry but people need to start pressing the company. They always do these sketchy no details type stories. I noticed every nct member who's contract is coming up soon has been getting in trouble. I believe they try and trash their name in case they leave. It could be real, but if taeil was gonna leave how would he ever have a career. I believe anyone who thought about leaving is being gotten rid of strategically. I feel like I can figure out stuff easier cause tbh I don't really care about kpop like that.

You have to think if this was harry styles, people would want evidence. No way on earth a label drops someone from the company for an allegation. They would need proof he violated his contract or they would have to pay him money. At least some type of appropriate statement. Korea seems like a military state. There is no need for a proper trial or anything. But at the same time, they protect a lot of people who are definitely into sketchy stuff their are people in s/ m that were involved in burning sun but you will find nothing on it. Any pics gone within a day or two. They have sued people for less. Now Billboard is making articles the same day this is released? This is Nct's third scandal dealing with illegal activities in the past few months. Why didn't they interview them about the pics of some their people at hostess clubs in japan or being besties with y3kuz@ members? Allegedly.

I don't believe they are righteous people looking for justice. This is the same company that had underage children dance in basements for managers. Please. They need to investigate themselves.

I've noticed s.m seems different now. The company is in a shared building and they moved their artists dorms. I wonder if the company got taken over or something. Also taeyong went to the military before taeil. Just very weird. Usually I just roll with it, but every major news company is doing a story. I will never understand why k-dolls never try to defend themselves or get a lawyer.

I know twitter is a great source sometimes, but for a case to be filed you actually need some type of evidence. Spyware is a bad thing in korea and it is an issue, but where's the police, press conference, charges being formally pressed, lawyers. Is there no due process? It's a clear media blitzkrieg. They do these when they are trying to cover up something.

I exercise caution because the actual criminals use fake stories like these to get away with their dirt.

Also they will have to delete tons of nct content and edit videos. This may be an excuse to cover up evidence for something else.

Most definitely, but when I think about Mj even when multiple people sued at once, they still had to go to court, have due process and the entire thing has records available to the public. With k-media there is nothing, the company says something, the victim is always nameless, faceless and no live interviews are done. It's a very scary thing to live in a country where it's that easy to be framed. Especially when there are people that actually committed crimes and s//m helped cover it up. This is very odd, perhaps he was trying to do like Bk and sue and it didn't turn out well for him.

Idk, it's odd this is happening to the most quiet member too. I know nothing about him or 95 percent of the group, they all have mysterious backgrounds.

I'm not surprised they all turned quickly though. Eggso did the same thing with kris, luhan and tao. Cried, but then after a short while they acted like they never existed. Hopefully he's still alive and they didn't do this to get everyone to turn on him and not ask what happened.

What if its distraction for someone elses or something bigger? Or just one huge fuck up to make him look worse than he is

Taeil would be an easy target, scapegoat. I'm waiting to see how it turns out before I make any misjudgements or assumptions for things

younger members are easier to control or manipulate but older idols seem to always be forced out of their groups with no protection or false narratives

What I question how on earth does an idol learn hacking? They are too busy to probably care about some random minors I don't know I cant put my finger on it yet but it seems as exaggerated as woojins situation and still he he an older quieter ex member of skz similar to taeil. We don't even know how crooked folk are in the higher ups but I know idol groups are heavily monitored so to say this went on for years? I don't know if I should believe it even the staff would've caught on to it

Yet there is never a face to the name with the accusations just an online account and text. Smths fishy

Its like I want to believe it because I know that's what the media wants us to believe

Plus they know people are naive to believe it never question slander against such public figures. Scary times.

I really find this sus though I cant explain it.

you know, you bring up some good points. Many people are jumping the gun and believing the post. I like to think why him, why now. Even before the scandal, he had that accident, maybe he was supposed to d!e but didn’t so they found another way to get rid of him. I also agree that maybe he was trying to do a bk too. Also there is no proof that this happened. Let’s wait and see what happens in the case.

Yes!!! Amen. I’m like how is he going to be hacking, he don’t have no time. I think he must’ve pissed some elites off. He is not controllable anymore so they could possibly blackmail him.
In America they did it mj, Dave Chappell or any celebrity that doesn’t comply. Sometimes it’s even fatal.
He might have to flee Korea for his own safety until the investigation is over.

The other enseetee members need to watch their backs, they could be next.

also it’s weird that Runjun still gone too.

I wish I could frame this entire post but the highlighted part especially. Your last few posts have hit the nail right on the head.

I am on the fence about him being guilty but something is fishy here. Esem is deep with the government (Grandpa sending his idols to hang with officials and even the North) they are in bed with kakao and naver, wealthy ceos and the list goes on. If they don't want things to show up in the news they won't. Period. I have heard of terrible things that have happened in that company over the years but it was never mainstream news.

Maybe it is because Grandpa is gone and is not protecting his artists with an iron fist anymore?

Idol news is also notorious for covering up scandals that involve the 1%.

I also wonder if some s@s3ng planted it. It’s possible that maybe this isn’t what happened. I just don’t think this dude has time to be hacking. So far the plot has many holes so I’m on the fence too.

Guys not saying he is innocent or guilt-less but Taeil is just a scapegoat to protect the real masterminds. His case was reported in June 2024 before this massive deepfake epidemic started in SK. They are probably using him and IDOLS in general to save actors, musicians, chaebols and business men who tend to have more power in their system.
