I feel bad for Kpop idols they seem to have no autonomy. Recently a lot of popular idols like Black pink, Exo, SHINee members decided to leave their original companies for their solo careers and I see fans complaining because it means lesser group activities or it ruins the fun for them and this makes me feel bad for idols because it feels like these Kpop fans think idols are responsible for their happiness. Like, why does it bother fans so much if someone leaves the group or wants to focus on their solo careers. Do these people not understand that being an idol is a job and every human should be allowed to change jobs of they are not satisfied with how they are treated by their employers. Idols changing companies or leaving groups is seen as something scandalous and fans throw tantrums over it. This feels so immature and when you realize a lot of people complaining are adults in their 20s and 30s it makes this so messed up.
Regardless of whatever they do like promoting demonic agendas idols should not be treated as some kind of toy that is obliged to make their fans happy.Maybe some of these idols do not like doing group activities due to reasons like bullying, not getting along with members of staff, or they just don't find it fun anymore and want to do more mature music.
