I want to quote a few lines from an article sharing same sentiment,

Here he is having a good time with this friends but I'm sure the vibe he gives, he is superficial with his art thing , I don't know how to articulate it but its like he adopted a persona of his name and fulfilling like he was discussed as "alien" or having a 4D personality, same was the vibe for his other two videos specially in rainy days. I in the start, yeah this is him , music is totally him and his style but the question to begin with are these idols are who they portray themselves to be?? Korean industry as a whole is too manufactured but BH is on another level like someone said above, that even their scandals are calculative. Their fan-servicing thing and oh little cute coincidences are planned in advance.
Tokenism and wanting me for my ethnicity, not my qualifications, is exactly why I have taken such an issue with Affirmative Action for the majority of my life. Because I'm biracial and because people don't realize it immediately, I stopped putting down that I'm black on job applications a long time ago. Cause at least then I know I got hired cause they thought I was worthy of the job.

Not to go off on a political tangent, but there's a man who's name I don't recall right now, who said we were not ready for freedom. I look around my city every day and see what people do with this freedom, the chaos they cause and their refusal to give back to their community and I'm appalled. At some point we have to ask ourselves, how much racism is created by the establishment, and how much of it do we create ourselves?

And it leads me to a point about trendy prejudice. I say trendy because young people absolutely treat prejudice like a trend. As though it's their mission to aggressively call out things left and right and proclaim them as racist. And what happens is many black people fall prey to the follower mentality, so they all subscribe to calling the same thing racist (even though it isn't), show zero ability to think with their own brain, then wonder why people think so low of us. Look at how we behave! Vee having the forced diversity in this music video 100% pushes that follower mentality. He's creating something that blacks will latch onto and worship because someone who's black was featured in it. They'll be shouting and singing from the rooftops that Vee is good for blacks soon, and just like they fell for Jim Jones when he fed them bullsh!t, they'll fall for this too.

I'm pretty sure that Vee is not who he's portraying himself to be. With the xenophobic "culture" he comes from, yeah no, he gives so little of a crap about diversity.

Smells like a cover up. Can't prove it now because won't get these copies, but I wonder if there was some kind of mistake or item inside these albums that fans were not supposed to see.
That's also possible...These orders (including pre-orders) are supposed to count for the charts and there's a deadline...even obviously suspicious is that Hive wants to "cancel" them... lol

The other theory I have is that maybe Hive doesn't want what happened to JM with the mass buying, to happen to Vee.

Alternatively, on a simpler level, they might not have the stock to fulfill all those pre-orders, and they didn't think ahead (which is classic of Hive), and now the fans and Vee pay the price.

That's also a sound theory... it's interesting to note that some fans are saying Vee is not really interested in charts...he just wants to have his songs heard by his fans...haha! But Bang, surely, would still be looking for the moolah...lol

Vee, and all the stuff he does, not interested in charts? That's a load of crap. They are ALL interested in the charts, lol.

Apart from music criticism, V's new single has diverse faces jam-packed into one , it seem forced and performative like most "woke" campaigns do though they not really believe it. They did it from the start, from their American Hustle life series to their other ventures. But than they refuse to speak to their fans in English, disrespect religious beliefs, cater to left leaning ideologies. Its devoid of any genuineness. View attachment 90969
Why should they speak to fans in English though? They didn't even know enough English. They're from Korea. Korean is their main language. Why should they have to learn a whole new language on top of everything else they're busy with just for entitled fans? Subtitles exist.

No that's not entitlement. Thats bare minimum when they have so many international fans.

I've noticed you are on my ignore button lol. Don't remember why but probably you earned it. ;)

People act like wanting someone to learn English for communication purposes is offensive. No one is saying don't be or speak Korean.

When we go to a foreign country we have to learn the native language. So there ya go.

Yes more like a job requirement. Jk want to be a breakout star in US , they expect a Grammy but can't engage in basic chitchat with fans in English for few minutes, I mean...Their international fan which are in millions switch to platforms for them but they can't learn a language but can sing apparently in fluent English (JK new album is rumoured to be in English) ,pfft.

I refuse to spend money or time on a group that doesn't cater to me. If that makes me entitled, fine. I'm American. We have many options, some a lot better than kpop. I absolutely resent their entry into our music industry and demands to break the system more than it is already. Cater to their Korean fans, but don't expect me to pay for expensive tickets, merch, or extras when we can't even get proper fanmeets. Japan gets fanmeets. So does Indonesia, the Philippines, and a lot of other Asian countries.

They despise Westerners, so no American dollars for them. I left the Hive plantation and now listen to a group that's bothered to learn English, Indonesian, Thai and doesn't cater exclusively to their home fans. They eat foreign foods, sightsee and don't look ready to sh.t themselves if a fan touches them.

Enough coddling of these groups. They're not uneducated or illiterate. Most idols come from wealthy families that look down on the normal Koreans. They know that they have to cater to them, but despise them too. Idols aren't anything special and if they can't sing or dance, the least they can do is learn English or how to hold a conversation in interviews. Sorry if I'm too harsh, but kpop has begun to disgust me. Tired of the industry, the fans, and the enablers of oppa and unnie.

It's very bland with almost no creativity. The singers don't sing, and the dancers barely dance anymore. Fans praise idols for minimum effort and bully people who don't believe the same. Any criticism is seen as a personal attack.
