To use David Woodas a source first of all unless you are a supporter of him is probably the worst thing you can do and I would like to ask you a question why do you use modern day ideologies and social standards of the modern era to judge something that happened at completely different time period with different laws and regulations and social constructs? From Acts 17 Apologetics:
I would like to see if any Muslim is willing to defend the second character.
Like for first sentence. Yes, it is a dig in the ribs for Etagloc, but I couldn't resist it.Lol you can’t knock my man GCB for making bait threads anymore.
Seriously though, I think the Mohammad/Aisha thing is pretty sketch, something that claims to be the Absolute Truth should be above historical social norms. I’ll say the same thing about the Christian Bible and it’s shadier laws and standards.
Ad hominem attack. I am aware Muslims reflexively dismiss him. That is their only tactic. To use David Woodas a source first of all unless you are a supporter of him is probably the worst thing you can do and I would like to ask you a question why do you use modern day ideologies and social standards of the modern era to judge something that happened at completely different time period with different laws and regulations and social constructs?

Your distraction tactic is iffy though. (Atheists love to pull the Old Testament legal laws out of context and pretend that Christians should be following them as well.)
I debated whether the video should have gone in the Entertainment section since they are comparing R.Kelly to Muhammad. R.Kelly is being condemned for what Islam's founder condoned. Why do Muslims and politically correct Westerners accept Muhammad's excuses but not R.Kelly's?
There are many different sources that claim differing ages of Aisha(RA) some say 15 such as Abdullah al khatib, some scholars such as Maulana Muhammad Ali claim she was over 10, so to use the argument of the age of six it is not very substantiated when there are plenty of scholars who claim otherwise.Ad hominem attack. Please prove the allegations in above the video from Islamic texts are incorrect. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately this is not a Muslim website it may seem Like a Muslim website due to the name but it’s notWiki-islam says it openly. https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Qur'an,_Hadith_and_Scholars:Aisha
I assume that is the Wikipedia of Islam.
I scrolled down the wiki-islam page and it gives references proving that, along with Muhammad striking (or hitting) Aisha. :-(

Very true. Humans are made to begin procreating at a young age (puberty). In the past it was acknowledged in full honesty, by all cultures. Today in the West they pervert nature: the parents don't care about teenagers having sex, as long as they don't dare get pregnant. They would rather abortion than to sanctify a young couple.100yrs ago girls were being married at 10,11 and 12 yrs old even in America! It was norm back in the day to consummate marriage when puberty comes. In these times we have different norms and customs. People married young all over the world there was no teenage years construct. Go look up the age of marriage in California, Texas, Vermont in 1880.
How about 6th century Arabia when the life span was 40yrs in a barren desert?
Plus the lies these people delve in!! it is well known he peace be upon him never hit anyone in his home ,smh
Really have to say the person who made this thread is so beyond the pale for me as a human being. I was not put on earth to have ill will but convey the message in a good manner. I pray that Allah the Most High cleans my heart and makes me ignore this human being. Ameen,
Is it the job of cz evangelics to share their gospel or attack our Prophet peace and blessings be upon him?

You may impress Muslims and social justice warriors but you are certainly not impressing God.Very true. Humans are made to begin procreating at a young age (puberty). The Prophet Muhammad had wives of varying ages but being betrothed doesn't mean there had to be intimate relations.
I agree about anyone who would "share" something from the violent sociopath David Wood. He is a fiend who lives in hell as we speak, he and his white supremacist goons.
I joined VC with a sort of optimism but I realized quickly that just like scattered through the rest of the internet, there are a few hate-filled individuals here. Instead of hating the real destroyers they want to falsely condemn God-fearing people. It can stem from insecurity. When people are living a lie, the unconscious self is in conflict with their fabricated identity. The vitriol is really aimed at themselves.
Hurtful people can be frustrating but in the big picture God Almighty allows them to exist for a purpose. At the end of the day I actually pity a miserable soul like David Wood.
Islam certainly has not been under enough scrutiny.it's an anti-islam website from notorious islam haters.
As for this whole topic..you are acting like islam has never been under scrutiny.
I don't recall Jesus telling his followers to go out and scrutinise other religions. He told them to go out and spread the Good news.Islam certainly has not been under enough scrutiny.
If it had been, there would have been ***waayyyy*** fewer converts in western countries.
I made this point last year. I don't remember the verse but basically the Israelites acknowledged girls as women when brass r and pubic hair developed100yrs ago girls were being married at 10,11 and 12 yrs old even in America! Don’t you think the messenger of God should be above social norms? If Mohammad had relations with Aisha between 9 to 10 that’s a little extreme even for the time period. I think most of us here will agree that historically the onset of the menstrual cycle was the age of availability, it’s a sad fact about history but religions that still claim to be the sole truth in the universe should have been correct about it at the time.I made this point last year. You should look in the 'Converts to Islam' thread that @DesertRose started. It's excellent. One thing that is repeated over and over again by the many people in western countries who have converted to Islam is that - at first they were looking for a way to debunk and 'expose' Islam, but the more they studied and asked questions about it, the more apparent it became to them that Islam is God's true religion for all of humanity. Truth can stand scrutiny.Islam certainly has not been under enough scrutiny.

I'm not saying that it was okay. How long did people typically live then, what was their environmental conditions? Clean water? Clean living and eating? Diseases? Etc.Don’t you think the messenger of God should be above social norms? If Mohammad had relations with Aisha between 9 to 10 that’s a little extreme even for the time period. Why waste the effort trying to debunk it? Everything comes to light on its own eventuallyYou should look in the 'Converts to Islam' thread that @DesertRose started. It's excellent.
