I actually have...but you refuse to see it.
I understood what you posted, it does not harmonise with the Bible because you base all you say just on the book of Revelation. The book of Revelation is based on the whole Bible.

The book of the Revelations does talk about the end times and its there in black and white..why would it need any other verses to help it, when these verses tell you all you need to know?

That’s to emphasize never ending.
Forever already means never ending. There is no need to add another ever behind it.
But of course you are ignoring the whole issue that the orginal greek word "aionios" doesn't even mean forever or eternity. Just go ahead and bury your head in the sand and keep on ignoring that fact.

Its not a fact, or the Bible would have it so. Remember the Bible is inspired by God..so He has it in there the way He wants it. And the way He wants it is forever and ever..never ending.

Its not the only book that talks about end times though. The language it uses is also from other parts of the Bible. That is also in black and white.

Revelation as a book is not an island. I can't explain everything to you here but anyone who studies the book of Revelation will soon realise they have to read other parts of the Bible in conjunction with it.

Yes, but the book of Revelation speaks specifically about what we are talking about..why would you look elsewhere for anything else about it?

O, I do know that there are other books that have endtimes prophecies like Daniel..but Revelations talks plainly about what the end battles look like..so why do you think you need to look elsewhere? And as far as I know there isn’t anything else that explains that like Revelations.

And so do other parts of the Bible. I have studied the whole book of Revelation and I have looked elsewhere in the Bible for this particular subject in detail.

If you have to ask...

I'm going now, I have to get on with other things. Bye for now.

Lisa always trolls me, so I blocked her. Also.. she bore false witness against me when I rejoined the board. So I would prefer to keep away from any drama she may be causing.

Anyways, Phipps, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, you just had me a bit confused

Yes it is a fact. Yes the greek texts that were written by the original authors were inspired. It is important to understand the intent and meaning of the original text. Keep burying your head in the sand if you want. I'm not going to base my faith and relationship on God on assumptions.

By going outside the Bible to get your info, you’ve let that corrupt what you knew..but then again you always said that you didn’t feel it was right anyway..so.. I think you just took your itchy ears somewhere else that was more in accordance to your own desires than what the word of God really says.

How is going to the original meaning of the text of the Bible "going outside of the Bible". The bible wasn't written in English Lisa.

No it wasn’t, but the Bible I use is the most literally accurate translation.

Impossible for hell to burn forever.

Biblically it is impossible for Hell to burn forever. Hell will take place on this Earth, and scripture tells us that Jesus will recreate the Earth in Revelation 21 and 22.

Burning forever implies immortality. 1 Timothy 6:16 says that only God is immortal. The righteous will become immortal when they are with Jesus again (John 3 :16 – eternal life).

1 John 5:12 says that whoever has the Son has life! The wicked do not have Jesus, therefore they cannot have life. Look at the following:

Ezekiel 18:4 – The soul who sins shall die
Romans 6:23 – The wages of sin is death (not eternal life in hell)
Revelation 20:14 – The lake of fire (hellfire) is the second death, not the second life.
Psalm 37 – The wicked will not be, they shall perish in smoke
Psalm 68:2 – The wicked perish
Revelation 20:9 – The wicked are consumed.

Even the devil will not burn forever. Ezekiel 28:18 says that the devil will be turned in to ashes. Malachi 4:1 says that the wicked will become ashes. They will be completely consumed. There is no forever of burning. It goes against the Biblical understanding of life, death, heaven, earth, sin, and eternal life. Nahum 1:9 reveals that affliction will not rise again.

Dude..you’re wrong on this.
Revelation‬ ‭20:10‬ ‭
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Matthew‬ ‭25:46‬ ‭
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

Which Bible do you use and how do you know that?
Of course by making the statement "most literally accurate" you are admitting that translations have inaccuracies to begin with!

Ya, some of them aren’t the truth. I use the nasb and I tried to find the one that was the most accurate.
