They're following the logical way, since there is no room for more groups in the Korean market. Some groups have done this before, like Ateez, where their fans are basically overseas. Even BP have more fans in SEA than in Korea. But going down that road, will turn Kpop into western Pop with asians.
Here is an example. Rania, formed in 2011. Has changed members over the years and a couple of years ago, redebuted as Blackswan.
They had an American member before. Nowadays, they have a Senegalese, an American, a Brazilian and an Indian.
