Edit: As Muslims we seek nearness to God not union. Union with the Creator is impossible because the Creator is not part of His Creation.
A basic tenet of Islam is that anyone who says that any creation is part of God is a disbeliever.
The Creator is not part of His creation. Would a car maker be a part of his car?....... And to the Creator are the highest analogies.
When people espouse theories about God as being a part of his creation they open the door to worshipping the Creation which is the worst sin in Islam. They will say that they are worshipping God through an idol or a righteous person or anything created that they think will get them to God.
As Muslims we say that the Creator is separate from His Creation. Thankfully we dedicate and devote our lives to him. We try to be God-centric without trying to be part of God.
We pray that our deeds and intentions are acceptable to him. God willing.
Hope that clarifies our stance and I will also post videos about the Islamic creed.
Kindly, adhere to the rules of this thread, This is a thread about informing people about Islam the religion not promoting the controversial ideas of some thinkers.

And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them”
