Shaytaan is trying to create a dark dominion on earth.
Those who are nearest to the Creator are the righteous and those who are closest to satan are the mischief/calamity makers (fitnah makers).
He can not go against Prophet Isa peace be upon him so he is going to use Dajjal as the entity to go against Prophet Isa.
He has no control over the Creator's righteous servants. Recite supllications of Glorification of God and protection from shaitan from books like Hisnul Muslim: (Fortress of a Muslim)

It is hajj season and our beloved places of worship have limited numbers.
