Sorry princess I can not do your homework for you......but I got more where that came from:)
So are you honoring me again by calling me a princess? ;) Just so you know, I’m American....

Ah, well, then I’ll just have to take a guess and say that there is no truth to the video...

There was a thriving flower export in Gaza which was demolished after Israel withdrew in 2005.
Now only rockets and terror tunnels come from Gaza.

In hindsight it was a big mistake to let the Palestinians rule themselves... so perhaps it is time that Israel take it back again ?

As big a mistake as letting the Waqf have control over the Temple Mount?

@Lisa "How do you leave it alone when scripture says it won’t be? I don’t see how that can be done because then God would be a liar. God doesn’t lie. It will happen because God says it does, leaving it alone is not an option. So, then how it happens is how it happens, whether people think they are manipulating scripture or not, don’t you think?"

I hope you won't mind. I moved us over here. I would say yes and no because we are accountable for our position. The prophecy is talking about something that happens because people have rejected God. Scripture saying it will happen the way it does is the same as saying that people will more than likely not repent and turn to God even when distress comes upon them like we are seeing.

Therefore, as spiritual people who do repent, turn to God, and accept Christ as our savior, what role do we play if we are not under the judgment coming on the world? I say that we should not support something that is not done in obedience. To support the reeling taking place is to support disobedience. This is not the same as saying that we don't recognize that it can't be avoided because it is what the prophecy says will happen. It simply means that I don't support the motivations behind the fulfillment of prophecy because they are contrary to the teachings of Christ. I don't think what is happening is good simply because scripture confirms what is happening.

Amos 5:18 says, "Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light."

This is why I don't support what is happening as though it were a good thing. Events taking place that demonstrate the prophecy is being fulfilled means that the day of the Lord will come upon us soon enough and this is nothing to find encouragement in. We are encouraged by the presence of the Holy Spirit. We have no need to find encouragement by the creation of the state of Israel.

I have another question for you too. What do you think about the verse that says to come out of her my people? What do you think this verse means? Revelation 18:4.

Well the Temple Mount is not where the Temple was.

The Temple Mount is where the Antonian fortress was with a whole Roman legion while the Temple was on the Ophel in the City of David just above the Gihon Spring.

Edit: And I think religion...or the Bible has everything to do with what is happening, so you really can’t leave it out of the discussion. I had just added this to the other thread...lol!

Don’t you think that if scripture says it will happen then there is no stopping it? Can anyone move God’s hand once it’s out stretched? And we also know that God is coming back, so when He does, it has to happen the way He said doesn’t it?

Yes, people more than likely won’t repent, and spend their time shaking their fists at God...

We as Christians share the Good News. What other role should we play? Even when Jesus was arrested and Peter cut that soldiers ear off, Jesus told him that His kingdom was not of this world...fighting isn’t the way. If you live by the sword you will die by it.

I don’t support the reeling, I am excited to see Biblical prophecy happening, and terrified at the same time...its not going to be a good time...but we are told to look for His coming, and these are signs.

Why, except for your son’s safety, would you want scripture to be false?

Well, will things happen in a good and right way, and how does that look for scripture to be fulfilled? Even Jesus, when He was taken to be killed said that things had to happen that way to fulfill scripture, otherwise He could call 12 legions of angels.

Are you confusing desiring the day of the Lord and seeing Biblical prophecy fulfilled? The day of the Lord will be a most terrible day, scarier than anything that has ever happened on earth...but seeing things happen the way the Bible says its going to...when people say that the Bible is not true...I think that is powerful.

Come out of the world His people, don’t be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. I think that God has His ways, and the world has its, and to come out of the way of the world is most unnatural for people and that takes guts to be a Christian. In fact in the end times it will really take guts to be a Christian...we will be martyrs.

So, that’s why the Jews and the muslims are having a controversy over the Temple Mount? I don’t think so....the Jews temple was on the Temple Mount, even the Bible in Revelation talks about leaving the outer court for the gentiles because most likely the Dome of the Rock, and to build their temple around it...

The Temple was leveled to the ground with not one stone left upon another in 69/70 AD.

So how can they know where it was ? Besides the Temple Mount has the exact same size as a typical Roman fort. And the Antonian Fortress was standing close by and a little higher than the Temple which stood just above the Gihon Spring.

So why would the Jews care about the Temple Mount then? And what is the wailing wall?

It might also have something to do with the difference between, say, (Jesuit) Georgetown and Bob Jones [Evangelical, Bible] University here in the States. One of those has considerably higher, more academically exacting, entrance requirements.
And more money / connections.

Unfortunately, the Jesuits are looking out for *only* the Jesuits.. based on their long history of doing just that, I mean.
