You are right about treatment of idols in the west vs SK. I am from South Asia and celebrities in countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh are treated like normal people. Yes they too have rabid fans but people aren't shocked when their favorite celebrity is caught in scandals. Its an open secret that most celebrities in the entertainment industry have to do "things" to get a career and the perception of celebrities is much like in western countries. Most people know they are out of touch with the masses and are greedy liars and manipulators so I had a huge moment of culture shock when I saw how idols are treated by fans.

Like, Armies still don't accept that BTS's music went to shit after Dynamite and that they are releasing basic pop music because they are greedy and just chasing charts. Swifties get a bad rep for being insane like Kpop fans but most of TS's fanbase admits she is a greedy capitalist who cares about chart success and breaking records. A lot of Swifties hated the re-recorded version of Style and most songs on 1989 Taylor's version saying the OG version had better production. You won't ever see Kpop fans doing this because if an idol has a production or lyric credit on a song the fanbase must like the song or it is taken as an attack on the idol themselves. Kpop idols will milk their fans by adding a huge pay wall behind every piece of merchandise and fan interactions but most kpop fans will still not accept their favorites are doing this for the money. They always blame the company or the staff for everything and keep coddling up their favorites like children who can't make decisions for themselves but on the other hand if a song or album is good then the idol is 100% deserving of the credit and composers, songwriters, directors and the company didn't do anything.

But, I still feel bad for idols sometime because the one thing I disdain about Kpop is how idols focusing on their solo careers or wanting to do less group content is seen as some kind of betrayal or a serious crime. Fans see idols as nothing more than group members because of the whole family narrative pushed by companies. For Instance, Apink's Naeun received massive hate for leaving the group because she wanted to focus on her acting career and Shawols recently have made a huge fuss about Taemin releasing his own light stick and logo saying stuff like "The light stick will ruin our pearl aqua ocean", "we have always seen him as a SHINee member and not soloist", "It will destroy fandom unity" like that guy doesn;t have any identity or interests outside of being a boyband member and throwing tantrums over what?? a piece of plastic that glows?? Groups are great for getting your name out there but most singers want to have a solo career because it lets them showcase their own talents and personality like they themselves want and its weird to expect idols in their 30s to enjoy doing aegyo and scripted variety shows. Most idols are actually more mature than fans and realize how fake and childish Kpop is. This is why most older idols turn to acting and stop doing idol promo to rebrand themselves as serious musicians.

literlly agree with almost all kf this i do pity them but at the same time it is what they chose to do and sometimes u just have to accept that they cant do much about it without facing utmost scrutiny from both knetz and general underage kpop fans. a lot of them cant ttake the slightest healthy critique of their beloved idols but then it dont make sense when they openly go after or attack other idols for the same reasons. i do believe some do it generally for the interest in music i dont think they are all greedy idols why else would we have had music if not for people to enjoy and share a common goal for the groups to succeed? i think its the higher ups and any other person in the agenices that are greedy they constantly appoint kids and minors from a young age where they dont get to have a normal childhood throw them into the spotlight and expect them to handle backlash and other harsh situations. thats what creeps me out about kpop it isnt debuting grown adults and i think the grown adults who are in such rushes to debut more kids i think those "adults" are perverts, control freaks and downright sleazy af people.

i dont think kpop is potentially childish in the sense of the music they release they wouldnt do it otherwise if that were the case i think its more so how it caters to much younger suceptible audience and thats where that childish behaviours stem from, and how current generation kpop fans have come from soending their childhood online and absorbing all that energy makes them seem so unhinged and quite often i think they are mentally ill. these groups are perfectly formatted specfically for their underage audience to gain unhealthy attachments to said idols i think enhypen gets the worst of it as well.

To be honest this stuff is very common in Japan and even male Japanese celebrities have to sleep there way through up. Everybody knows about Johnny Kitagawa but this is very common in most parts of their entertainment industry. For instance this isn't known much but most Japanese Anime voice actors start their careers by doing NSFW content i.e audio p0rn. 99% of current popular male and female Anime VAs have done audio p0rn during their debut years because voice acting alone doesn't pay the bills and the VA industry is very competitive in Japan. In extremely rare cases they might not have to do this if they manage to land a mega hit role in their debut years as was the case with the male and female leads of Death Note but the girl later got cancelled by Japanese incels and was forced to retire because of a dating scandal. Honestly, Japanese incels can be even worse than Korean incels. Korean female idols get hate but they can still have a career after dating scandals like Taeyeon, Jennie and many more. Japanese fans bully their females so much sometimes the poor women are forced to retire

There are definitely idols who join because they have some passion for music and singing. I can name at least 5 alone in NCT who seem genuinely interested in music and I don't even follow that group. I don't think the music is any less quality than non-Kpop music but how it's presented is the problem. The concepts and lores of groups like Exo and Aespa which see them become superheroes fighting some evil villain in their universe is something only teenagers would be able to enjoy. Someone in their 30s wouldn't enjoy learning about Kwangya because it's not like these lores are well-written or make any sense. It's just a strategy to get fans more interested in a group. Furthermore, the content which often includes idols going on non-music related shows most of the times. When western artists go to late night shows they at least get to perform their songs live. In shows like Knowing Bros, Amazing Saturday, Running man they give idols 2 minutes max to talk about their music and the rest is just them acting like comedians. Also, I don't think most Kpop concepts are really that good. I will again give you example from SHINee because that's the only group I currently look out for. So, In SHINee there is Key who gets praise for his innovative concepts but the thing is none of his concepts are serious or have any substance behind all the bright colours. In Bad Love he was doing some sci-fi stuff mixed with a break up story which didn't make a lot of sense. In Gasoline he was trying to portray himself as some of kind of greek god of performance. In his Good and Great he was an office worker. Now, these concepts look good on the surface and they are fun but a lot of western artists do these type of concepts too. Britney Spears did Sci-fi break up storyline in Oops I did it again. Ariana Grande did Sci-Fi in Break Free. Katy did Egyptian queen in Dark Horse and while these songs were received well none of the artists were taken seriously or critically acclaimed. Ariana only started gaining respect when she got more involved in producing her albums which is what western critics and audiences look for today. One could argue Madonna and MJ have done "concepts" and storylines but both also released a lot of songs with messages that the masses could connect to. Kpop idols release concepts that only target a certain demographic which mostly consists of children and teenagers. They are essentially the Korean version of Disney pop stars but the difference is Disney stars start shedding their innocent image as soon as they reach adulthood while Kpop idols have to wait till their 30s and some don't even survive that long because of how competitive the industry is.

thats why id be fucking scared to date an idol of any sort even if they are indeed likeable / dateable. knetz and kpop stans in general hate seeing idols with females. the lady risabae? i think her username is recently got hate online for standing next to felix who is much younger and they would hardly date with such a huge age gap. but skz seem quite open to female x male connections yet their fan base is so immature about it and theyd rather seemingly push the minsung narrative / "ship" just to feed certain delusions about the idols even if maybe some of them are different sexuality the male x male ships in idol groups are pushed more than opposite gender. i rarely see a kpop idol being openly shipped with a female.

Sure, but Freemasonry has a clear symbol that represents their society, for example and that symbol was on his ring. Stuff like the covered eye pose and shh pose of being 'in the know' and 'part of it' is also very clear.

As for the butterfly symbolism, it is also a bit too frequent to be dismissed. When you line up all the photos and symbolism across photoshoots, artists, regardless of whether it's kpop or the american music industry it starts to become very obvious.

I believe the reason for the overlap in symbolism is because Knight Templars were followers of Gnosticism a corrupt form of Christianity which shares basic principles with Kabbalah which itself shares principles with Eastern religions like Taoism, Hinduism and Shintoism. So, basically in the west the elites are followers of Freemasonry which was actually inspired by eastern religions in the first place. Like Damian that book was written by a German occultist but it is a classic in Korea because the themes and concepts discussed in that book are similar to cultural beliefs of Koreans.

His album name is "Pleasure shop" the teasers show a club where he drinks something and goes in trance. One of the songs is called Novocaine a local anaesthetic. I know that is not a recreational drug but this whole concept screams "Drugs" to me. He has a clean image so fans do not expect him to be into drugs but he is also connected to fashion brands and most people in the fashion industry are druggies. So, If this guy ever gets caught in a drug related scandal I won't be surprised because why are you interested in doing such a concept?
