Ideally yes. But its too idealistic. Men who are corrupted by desires, don't follow their higher selves. Islam doesn't made it compulsory to marry multiple women, it is men who are tempted and most men are like this whether its east or west. So to avoid lustful temptation outside marriage and committing adultery, it is a reasonable setting. Instead women become sexual toy to multiple men, it is better to commit one high-quality man. Another thing is the ratio of man to woman in population, women live longer as compared to men, not all women be able to get married. Despite what Muslims here talk about not marrying divorces, Our Prophet PBUH married mostly widows and divorced women.

If the ideal is not the goal, why are people spiritual? Spirituality is the search for the original man, ie. the man, as God intended, before the fall into sin. It doesn't seem right for God to accommodate transgression because of man's shortcomings when Jesus said sin doesn't start with surrendering to lust, but already with lusting itself, since one who lusts after another has already committed adultery in his heart. It's a step backwards what divine revelation is concerned.

Shariah will never come on a global scale until Jesus returns, but life in the west would be vastly different if it did. All for the better too.

I wouldn't have to lock my car and house at night, i wouldn't have the state taking 40% of my check through numerous taxes. I wouldn't have to worry about getting mugged by some dude i pass on the street whose wacked out on some legal narcotic. I wouldn't be forced to pay extortion fees they call "insurance" here. I wouldn't have to watch my nieces and nephews sign their lives away for college loans.

I can go on but you get the drift. The church and state are completely separate here, but the state and satan are one and work in unison.
