I do believe it. I think the corona virus cases are massively under reported. Why ? Because I dont think it is all that different from the flu , I think many people dont even realize they have it. This would make the death rates even far less if what I believe is true. My wife and mother both got really sick 3 weeks ago. Both said they had never felt like that before. I simply got a regular cold. We are all better now, but what's to say we all didn't have the corona virus. Both my wife and mother claimed they had never felt that sick that they can remember. I bet plenty of people have this and dont know it. Its said the vast majority of cases will be mild.

So true! Had a weird upper respiratory thing a month ago. Wasn't the flu, was stronger than a cold. Used 3 boxes of Kleenex in 2 days, had a massive migraine the 2nd day (contemplated going to hospital but honestly couldn't move, the pain was so intense). Felt weak and barely ate for 5 days. Ran a fever of almost 100 on the 5th day? It was strange. I'd feel better and start cleaning or go to the grocery store and get wiped out. Maybe I was like your wife and mother. My mom had similar symptoms and hers turned into pneumonia partly bc Dad wouldn't let her rest and get over feeling ill. She's his caregiver and he won't accept anyone else, but some day he may have to. She's fatigued. :-(

I myself never got those symptoms and I never kept away from her. She was sick on and off for about 3 weeks, but to be honest it was never really that bad.

I also realize that a friend of mine's father passed away back in January. He said they didn't really know why he died, but his health hadn't been good for a while.

Any business lives or dies by supply and demand. Which BTW can be a very tight rope to walk on. That's why we are seeing supply shortages now. Think about it Lisa, if you are walking on a rope, you are at the mercy of the rope.

Maybe that was a bad analogy. Let me put it like this. As someone who works in retail, the demand for my job just went up a lot. Because the demand for consumer products is up. And sure, it doesn't make sense everyone is crowded around the grocery stores, but it's what's happening.

It is a very rare business that can create customers/demand out of thin air where it didn’t already exist Lisa. Be honest for chrissakes. There is no shame in admitting it. It’s called being humble.

Someone with some cash created the store is what I’m getting at. Otherwise there would be no store. Customers keep a store in business..but they don’t create stores.

Then I am surprised you still have a business.

Yeah it takes capital to start a store but that store would be lost within days if you didn’t have customers. You have a very selfish self centered mindset generally.

Ask your husband how long he’d be in business without customers Lisa. I guarantee you it won’t be very long. Maybe you’ll figure it out first hand with the massive recession that is quickly descending upon us?

They do influence the approval of building/opening a store though.

We had our main town gentrified and a whole load of middle class professionals moved in. They built more supermarkets and a local shopping centre due to the change in demographic...

I thankfully did not book any vacations until Halloween.. and even that one has free cancellation up until October 19th

Unfortunately I booked a week in Turkey and whilst it was quite cheap, I've lost £250...

Frustrating but hey, rather lose the money and be safe...

No where abroad!!! Just out in the wilds a bit. We know some woods and other places.
It's just our spring get away, and we have decided not to miss it.
And if they lock us down there, well yay!!! longer holiday!
