On proper corona news, the figures at BNO havn't been updated for hours.
It's a bit worrying as they have been doing a wonderful job.

For some reason, the longer this goes on, the less I'm worrying.

I expected it to hit the U.S. faster, and that we'd have thousands of deaths when it did hit.

I'm also in Los Angeles, which is so congested and full of groups of people who are at risk (homeless), and it doesn't seem to be an issue here yet. Of course people were prepping by buying out all of Costco and Sam's Club last week, so it could be that people are just avoiding crowds in general.

My job has definitely seen a decrease in clients, which is unfortunate, but considering that our clientele are mostly older people, it may actually be a good thing that they're staying home and not risking catching anything, and thus spreading anything.

I'm personally staying home any time I get even mild symptoms of illness (like a sore throat, wet cough, and sneezing), not because I'm afraid I have Corona but because its better to just heal for a day or two than to risk being in public and being exposed to It while my immune system is busy fighting something else.
