Heart transplant? My son was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy just in time thanks to army recruitment health check. It is now well controlled with medicine only.
We are blessed to live in modern times for sure. :)

How is your son doing? Well, I hope. Have been praying for him. Yesterday was my first anniversary of my heart transplant. God is good...all the time.
I would like to discuss sometime why you made the switch from Catholicism, with no agenda to "win you back," just two mature Christians discussing things. Blessings.

Definitely pray for my husband's and two sons' salvation too!

If you could limit it to CHRISTIAN ONLY contributors it could be an OK discussion on the forum. Otherwise it will be even more of a problem than it is worth.

Ah...yes, I see your point. I didn't think of the public thing. But, please know that I will pray for you husband and two sons, and for you. It must be difficult. You seem like a very strong woman of God, but we are weak He is strong. Allow yourself to be strong and not believe that you have to carry this burden. Give it to God.
Does the Baptist Church around you have spiritual directors? I am a certified spiritual director and have some female friends who are also certified spiritual directors. These are some pretty incredible women. If you want to try it (it's free...:)) it would probably have to be through Skype. I do that with one guy in another state. No pressure. Let me know. Hi, everybody! I'm Prison Hipster. As the name suggests, I'm an ex-con (with a heart of gold) who was raised conservative, then became libertarian, then an MSNBC-type liberal, then radical leftist, and now I'm none of the above. I read widely, have thick skin, and believe in free speech.

I stumbled across this site through Infrakshun (which, alarmingly, stopped posting in the past few months). At first I was smugly amused by Vigilant Citizen, but the Symbolic Pics of the Month convinced me that there was worthwhile stuff here. Now I check the site at least three times a week.

I try to give people and ideas a fair shake, and I try my best to remain open to new and unusual views. There seem to be quite a few here :)

I was a reader of the vigilant citizen back to 2010.
I had a forum acc around four or five years ago. But it seem that the forum started a new. So it is my new acc.
