So you see Christians we Muslims have our differences too  such is the nature of man

But note how there's no confliction regarding the basis of Islam, oneness of God and his books.
Just like there's no conflict regarding the basis of Christianity, namely deity, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on top of the oneness of God.

Nabeel Qureshi? Lol come on, man. That guy wouldn't hurt a fly.
What's up with Muslims hating Ex-Muslim so much that they flooded them with death threats. Nabeel is a great guy with a big heart. I still can't believe some Muslims is saying he deserved the cancer, at the moment, and that Allah cursed him. I'm not surprised though.

This is a side point but one sect or branch of Islam I totally disagree with and scholars conclude aren't 'Muslim' are Ahmediyya Muslims. They believe there was a prophet after Mohammed so...can't really consider them to be on the right path
But Christians have to accept a prophet after the Messiah. lol

Also bro in the kabballah system you have the 'tree of life' which is what i quoted
and the 'tree of death'
the ones who practice evil are using the tree of death, that's basically against kabballah.
Considering you favor Shariah because it's for all people regardless of race, true Kabbalah considers darkness to be made up of the goy while the Jews are made up of YHVH's perfect light. Don't pay heed to exoteric Kabbalah. You won't get the truth from it.

But you believe in reincarnation the other Christians don't. That's a pretty significant part of the basis of Christianity, there's no reincarnation according to the Marjority of followers

You're not inclined to do anything, there's no compulsion in religion no one is here to convert you or attempt to convert you lol

Plus I was wrong manama corrected me and stated they don't believe in a prophet after Mohammed they believe in the Mahdi already arriving, which is wrong because he comes when Jesus arrives

Anyway I don't really want to derail the thread so feel free to message me if you want to discuss this further

First I have heard of it.

Regarding the authors of the hadeeth: are there certain authors that you outright know as false? If so, are you willing to name them?
Its not the authors but the narrators.
To us the only reliable hadith books are Sahih muslim and bukhari.
About the narrators, there is a book written by the same authors about narrators. I have yet to study it tho

Many of us don't really care if someone leaves Islam. It's just a crazed fraction that feel the need to dictate how people worship God. Colgate said he was previously Muslim and is now Christian, did anyone attack him? And how many Muslims are on this forum?

Don't generalise lol I

from what I've seen, any ex-muslims speak out against islam usually death threats came their way. I can provide proof if you're interested.

then why are sufis the majority of muslims in the world? ie whether you go to N.africa, west africa, east africa, the balkans, the levant, persia, the indian subcontinent, the far east...they are all sunni orthodox muslims who practice/live sufism.
Is that even true? I thought Sufis were a Muslim minority of a few million adherents.

I know I'm aware of idiots who threaten the lives of people who change their religion and I believe it's wrong. I'm just saying the average Muslim like myself is more concerned with what I'm having for dinner than someone leaving Islam

So? How many of you muslims agree with AspiringSoul? Reincarnation isn't a fundamental teaching either. There's very little scriptural reference.

But you've rejected all the sahih hadith from Bukhari & Muslim in the Muhammad thread.

No, not fatwas. Sunnah. Sahih no less.
We have already answered your point, you coming back with the same thing again and again is no different than a parrot's talk.

But you've rejected all the sahih hadith from Bukhari & Muslim in the Muhammad thread.
We answered about the authentic ones. We told you which are the fabricated ones and why. Come back with something new and original next time.

Kabbalah is antichristian, but mysticism is independent from religion. If you pray and you feel a connection with God, you are experiencing mysticism since it concerns one's personal intimate relationship with God.
You can play word games all you want but that's not mysticism. Mysticism is occultism.

Even if you google mysticism, even google associates mysticism with the occult.

3) must be from Quran or Sunnah
4) The person must not say it silently that others could not hear him
yes it must be from the Quran but you're missing the point, it is still called Ruqyah, it is still 'incantation' except it is the Quran being used instead of other words.
incantation=magic=spells
don't get offened...these other people think of terms like magic/spells in a negative context but Islam defines what's allowable and what isn't.

so if it contains NO shirk and NO evil/harm in it then it is permissable.
As a muslim you should be confident and open minded when you hear of things you assume are 'occult' by determining whether they contain shirk or the potential of shirk, or harm. We have been given the difference between right and wrong in clear terms.

For example, I personally find astrology to be interesting. It can explain a person's personality traits and their dominant humor/season which matters in unani medicine/healing. However I don't go around believing it determines everything in my life because astrology affects our lower bodies/lower planes. If I was at my desk I'd love no toy to something a Hindu said about this topic and it was the same view ad my own where he said we have to rise above these influences through faith in God. You might find it hard to believe but the Vedanta Hindus are the closest thing to islam and in their books actually do look down on polythiesm.
