We can call it exploitation, because it is that. I always wonder about the parents, where are they? are they ok with this draconian conditions? Perhaps, some of them don't know, although I find that hard to believe, since most of these idols are minors when they start and to sign a contract, their parents or legal tutors must be present.

I guess it's because ppl desperate of money. U can see that mostly those company just called some random street kids they met for casting. Like m1nh0 from sh1nee. He's being said got casted only bcs of having a cute smile. Funny is he is hired under singing company not for modeling nor to be an actor. So since being idols is a "promising job", probably that's why their parents wont objected.

yes and the youngest girl in this ITZY group is 15 years old

It's not only the sleeping hours but also the crazy diets and plastic surgery
all of this happens while these idols are minors.....no loving parent would allow their child to go through this

So the parents are using their child for money or they are involved in this "cult" in some other way

I know it's kind of late and I'm not sure if it was discussed here, but what do you all think about Kyungs00's earlier enlistment? This article says that it's because of kdrama he will appear in... Well after X1um1n's enlistment ex0 aren't all together so it's propitious time to enlist...
But if he decided to do so, it could mean that his career as an actor could be more important for him than as a singer...
He always seemed to stand out... Of course it could be a role that he has to play, I'm aware of that
Even though, I have a feeling that very often he didn't really want to be among the members...

I posted a rumor long ago, that he was leaving the EXO group
SM denied it....but a few months later the news of him enlisting were out

when he is out of the military EXO will be over and too old......I think he will stay in the industry but as an actor

There are a lot of Kpop fans in Indonesia and among the Arabs....so I don't know, perhaps that's the reason.

Yeah and just look how carefree is the statement of their company .. Like it's really her own choice or the members choice if she still wants to perform ....
