Serious answer: Use reading comprehension. Easter worshippers aren't being used to describe Christians... But Christians who are going to church to worship, on Easter. I.E.: It was likely an attack specifically directed on Easter-time worship. Stop being outraged at everything and be more concerned how attacks like this will be used as an excuse to strip people of their rights. And it will.

Oh this is too try hard. Those who go to CHURCH for EASTER are called Christians. What else? Jews? Muslims? Those who go to church on Christmas to celebrate Jesus' so-called-birthday is called what? Christmas Worshippers?
It's common sense man. You're reaching too far to justify it.
Even those 90% on twitter, even non christians know calling Christians easter worshippers isn't right. Just respect those Christians who died for their faith. Think for a sec, do you think they would want to be called Easter Worshippers?

I'm not getting any answers about why they want to call you (and me for that matter) "Easter worshippers". I'm not defending it since it was really stupid wording that will make people think the wrong thing - and I'm especially not a fan of either of those two neoliberal warmongerers... But I'd like you to tell me what the point is.
'cause if there is a point, other than poor wording (or at least wording that the average person will find confusing) it's just to get a certain demographic in a twist so they upset about wording, as opposed worrying how these events will hurt humans rights in the name of security.

So what is your question? Is it "Why they want to call us Easter Worshippers?" ?
Do you know why? Hmmm, in my own opinion cuz they don't want Christians being portrayed as VICTIMS. What's their motive? I dont know. But I'd like to see them using the same term to other religions. Muslim as Ramadan Worshipper and Buddhist as Vesak Woshipper.

It is blatant word-gaming, not calling the Catholics "Catholics".
If Clinton openly stated that Catholics were murdered by Muslims on Easter Sunday, then that would make her need to condemn those Muslim terrorists **as much** as the Australian man murdering many Muslims in Christchurch a few weeks ago.
Of course many theories could be given on why Hilary Clinton is not willing to do that....

The form of global capitalism today is a cancer to equality and prosperity, there is nothing Godly about it. Without social efforts in the USA we wouldn't have child labor laws or social security, probably working 50 hours a week (for even less than the filthy pittance we're given) .

Maybe we should understand that The fire of Notre Dame suppressed the word 'Christian' in their mouths?
Or maybe they used the word Easter worshippers to include non-Christians which is contradicted by the simple fact that churches were targeted and not everyone are 'Easter worshippers'.
Could you Imagine them using terms like 'mecca worshippers' for muslims or 'Shabbat worshippers' for Jews after an attack ?
It's a bit like Macron when he use the word 'Republic' instead of France to suppose that the old France doesn't exist in his head.

It is also perhaps a knowing attempt to malign Christianity with paganism (I.e. Astarte / Ishtar / Easter)? It appears to be a play on the Zeitgeist nonsense that sometimes reads it’s dopey head round here!

I don't know...at least in America Chruch attendance almost doubles on Christmas and Easter (More Easter than Christmas). Should we call those people who only come to church on Christmas and Easter "Christians"? I don't have a problem with the media labeling those who go to church only on Easter and Christmas as something other than Christians, though I suspect the motive for labeling them that is different than my reasoning.

Entirely unrelated. Entirely irrelevant, too. Especially because even the "Democratic Socialists" in America aren't Democratic Socialists but Capitalists in favor of more regulations and better social programs.
But socialists are free to try to steal the word liberal if they want. Capitalists stole "libertarian" from anarchists. They ain''t doing to good of a job here in America though.
If you want your global worldview to become part of Western society, you need Christianity. As a Christian and an anarchist, I'd rather see socialists use the religion for their ends since at least socialism (as it legitimate socialism, not communism) is closer to the teachings of Christ than the cult of greed, capitalism, is.
Again, while it's poor choice of words, you're overthinking this. "Easter worshippers" is an apt descriptor for the people that died. Since you know, they died on Easter. But getting upset over semantics 1.) misses the bigger picture, 2.) serves as a distraction.
