Remember, only Christians feel a need to be "saved". Doesn't that mean you'll burn for eternity in Hell? I'm sure a few black-hearted Christians think so. Personally, I feel no need to be "saved". I always pray to...whoever's listening...that I be rid of my delusions. My life's been a real 'eye opener'!
Every man that has all the answers to life without God will find they will fail the Test when they have to take it.

What is there to misunderstand in 1 John 3 ?

How come you don't understand that the Devil joined the Church and wrote doctrines... which you regurgitate ?

All i see is an incessant refusal to reject sins.

How are you supposed to uphold Law and Order in the Millennium ?
I think you are choosing to be obtuse for your own reasons.

I hate sin. Sometimes sin creeps up on you. When I sin I suffer guilt and shame.

Let me ask you this. Having read Romans 6, 7 and 8 are you, in our own estimation ever "in the flesh"?

Before i knew Him i broke the Ten Commandments and various other sins spoken of in the Scriptures. I had no knowledge of the Bible but i intuitively knew it was wrong to steal but i still stole. Every weekend i got drunk and if lucky some sex on the side.

So i was a dawg deserving of death and separation from God.

What changed ? Jesus Christ !

For some reason i stumbled into His sphere of influence and was absolutely shocked about the prospect that He was real. But how could that be ? How could He be real when the world did not know ? How was this possible ?

So i began to study... alot.

And now i know.

Everything. L0L

It seems to me that you are at the stage in your faith where the reality of Jesus in your life has completely overshadowed any temptations you may have previously suffered with. I hope that is the case and I hope you stay that way!

The Hebrews wandering in the wilderness started off well, but when hard times and doubts came, they made mistakes and had to get back to that place you currently seem to inhabit.

I have been a Christian for nearly 40 years, and there have been times I have been overwhelmed by the presence and closeness of the Lord and times I have felt distant and like the wandering Jews. I thank God for the times of closeness and fruitfulness and I also thank him for His mercy at bringing me back to Him when I have strayed away.

You may feel holy and spuritually invincible, but remember - David, a man after God's own heart was still capable of sin, and God still showed him grace and a way back to Him.

That was a very nice post and perhaps i'm just a whippersnapper in the Lord who has been too preoccupied with work and study to think or do anything else. Maybe i will fall away after awhile and fail. But for now i have no time.

Is he now ?

An author of long Scriptual speculations and an approver of sins.

Absolute unappreciative of knowledge and wisdom.

Not unlike you.

Matthew 7 6"Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."
Yes, Daciple is saved.

Yes I believe Daciple is saved. That makes him my brother in Christ, so I will entreat him as such.

If you are saved, so should you.

He has not approved or encouraged sin. Neither have I.
Admitting that our flesh is sinful does NOT mean we are promoting or justifying our sinful flesh.

Why can’t you see the difference?

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”......James 5:16 KJV

How can anyone confess their faults if they pretend not to have any?

Why bother praying for one another if we have no sin or temptation that we are striving to overcome?

You lied earlier, when you claimed that you do not lie. Instead of being truthful with us or even yourself & admitting it , you respond with anger & lash out at those trying to help you.

Your pride & self-righteousness will keep you separated from grace.

I pray you realize it.
God Bless.

The Lord didn't save you to have you fall away...

Jude:

20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:

23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy

25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Be careful.
If you pray to anything/anyone who will listen, you can never be certain of your audience. You could open a Pandora’s Box that you might regret.

Your last sentence seems suspiciously ambiguous, so I assume you have already met with deceptions.

Hope that I’m wrong.

Keep in mind that everyone, not only Christians, seek reconciliation with God, but they cannot find it outside of salvation by grace through faith ALONE in Jesus Christ.

Everything else is a distraction.

Salvation is the Lord's business.

I just say and share His name so people know there is a universal fix for everything.

Christendom is compromised so i take a hardline concerning sins.

I mean we're in the very last days... so i think it's right to be extra self controlled and not give in to sin.

Timing is if not everything very important.

And i think we all can appreciate that.

God Bless.

Are you 100% certain that if you died right now that you would go to Heaven?

Also meant to add that, if by chance we could attain to sinless perfection (we can't; we were born in sin: Psalm/Tehillim 51:5), we'd probably be so proud that, oops, we just sinned in our pride.

Ironically, I once wrote a paper about how someone saying they're humble shows they're proud, yet I had pride in writing the paper, especially since the professor thought it was once of the best papers I'd written. Ugh. Pride is a nasty thing, isn't it?

No i'm honestly not so smug that i believe Heaven is assured.

You can call it a sense of humility.
There’s nothing smug about believing what the Bible says, Toki.

If you are not certain that you are going to Heaven when you die, it is because you are NOT saved.

There is no doubt about the surety of salvation once you are saved.

You must BELIEVE the Gospel of Jesus Christ instead of trusting your deeds.

You must put ALL of your faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, NOT yourself.

You must understand that you CANNOT be saved by anything YOU do, but believe that it is not your goodness that saves you. It is by HIS goodness that you are saved.

And that His goodness is sufficient to pay for ALL your sins, past , present AND future.

Why are you even teaching ?

Don't you know what the Scriptures say about women teaching men ?

You don't even understand that you must also do what you hear. And if you love Him you must obey His commandments.

You refuse to recognize simple Scriptural truths and just cherry pick what suits you.

Sure you must believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ but that is the beginning of a changed heart and much good works and obedience to His commandments. How come you don't recognize the truth in this ?

What you are preaching is an endorsement of continued sins since in your mind it is enough to believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ and so in your flavour of theology absolutely all Christians are saved no matter what they do. For you cannot be a Christian and not believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ !

Jesus says it is not so.

What do you understand by the notion on being "born again" and adopted into God's family?

Just curious?

Being born again is to receive the Spirit of Jesus Christ and so one is adopted into God's family.

Clearly all Christians are not born again and why is that ?

If the Spirit of Truth is in us one would think we would recognize truths.

Ok - given that some churchgoers may not be born again (i.e. not real Christians), what would you say to somebody who was seeking God and thought they wanted to be born again?

It might surprise you that i know who God is.

But somebody got to know right ?

And why not me ?

His Name is Jesus Christ and He paid the penalty for your crimes... so you can change and be like Him with His help.

Do you believe it ? Do you want that ?

O boy do i got a Book for you.
