I just had a revelation I wanted to share. I was thinking about the Fake Love performance and the masks. I was wondering what they were meaning by "Fake Love". But something hit me. I think someone else on here said this but it was something to where Fake Love could be the fake love ARMY has for BTS. The illusion that they love BTS but it is all fake. Notice how BTS put the masks on at the end. That could represent their fake personalities and alters they portray to their fandom that ARMYs "love" so dearly. Like, for example, J-Hope always being cheery and happy and Jimin always being cute and friendly. The fans are in love with the masks, the thing that gives BTS this great, relatable, pure boy band image. I also remembered Taehyung's comeback trailer 'Singularity'. He wears a white mask at the end with an earring that says 'loved'. The white mask could represent his clean cut image in the public, the funny and lovable Taehyung ARMY's adore. No, it is not him that is 'loved', but it's his mask that is loved -- his alter personality. I thought the earring made it clear that his mask was loved rather than the real Taehyung behind the mask. Then we see a black tear drip down the mask. I think that represents him on the inside. The darkness or things we don't see which is revealed on BTS's new album. This made me think of Matthew 23:26 which says: "Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean." what we get is the white mask which looks clean on the outside, but the inside is full of dirt and evil. Wearing masks as personalities for the outside and hiding yourself for others make a fake love. What are they getting at with these "Love Yourself" albums? I guess they're telling us we should love our fake selves too. Sorry for typing much, but this all just came onto me to share.
