It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed:
He who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride shall not enter Paradise.
Wasn't Ibn Taymiyyah "controversial" in his own lifetime? Wasn't Ibn Al Qayim? Wasn't Ibn Sina? Al Ghazali? heck, that list gets longer and longer. If you want to follow him, that's your business. If you want to discuss him, please do so here

(or make a new thread if you want- but I don't want to discuss him here)
It is not my job to get into pointless arguments with every troll on the internet.Wasn't Ibn Taymiyyah "controversial" in his own lifetime? Wasn't Ibn Al Qayim? Wasn't Ibn Sina? Al Ghazali? heck, that list gets longer and longer.
With respect, I'll bow out because you are uncomfortable with information which seems to directly contradict your non-scholarly stance not to mention, you did nothing to debunk floss, who sourced from ther same site you're pooling your ahadeeth from. Irony.
You're making straw men, rather silly considering I never said Abu Layth was the Ghazali (or anyone else for that matter) of our time.It is not my job to get into pointless arguments with every troll on the internet.
If you think Abu Layth is the Al-Ghazali of our time... you're free to that... opinion.
So Abu Layth is a misunderstood genius ahead of his time with a tight shirt? You're making straw men, rather silly considering I never said Abu Layth was the Ghazali (or anyone else for that matter) of our time.
What I did say, and what you failed to get into your mind is that Abu Layth, is controversial, just like Al Ghazali, Ibn Al Qayyim and Ibn taymiyyah were in their times.
I think you are sufferring some sort of cognitive dissonance here. You're unable to read my posts with any honesty or integrity. just your bias. Shame, that!
I think you're gonna be answering for these statements and accusations on the day of judgement. rather you than me!So Abu Layth is a misunderstood genius ahead of his time with a tight shirt?
He is Al-Ghazali with an extreme pornography charge?
If you want to go down strange paths, you can do that.
You just shouldn't get expect others to go down those strange roads.
You really expect me to reject Bukhari? Because Abu Layth does? That's pretty out there.
Again with the exclamation marks.I think you're gonna be answering for these statements and accusations on the day of judgement. rather you than me!
You've done well taking your thread off topic to cover your embarrassment.Again with the exclamation marks.
I simply pointed out things about Abu Layth. You're the one who gets into personal attacks and exclamation marks. You've done well taking your thread off topic to cover your embarrassment.
Here are a few more exclamation marks for you to character assassinate me with!!!!! lol
