Can anyone be saved by keeping the Law?

“By the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight” (Romans 3:20).

“By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Answer: No! The answer is too plain to miss. No one can be saved by keeping the law. Salvation comes only through grace, as a free gift of Jesus Christ, and we receive this gift by faith, not by our works. The law serves as a mirror that points out the sin in our lives. Just as a mirror can show you dirt on your face but cannot clean your face, so cleansing and forgiveness from that sin come only through Christ.

Why is God's Law exceedingly important to us personally?

"Speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty” (James 2:12).

Answer: Because the Ten Commandment law is the standard by which God examines people in the heavenly judgment happening right now in heaven.

Satan earned that title by deceiving this world with lies, as recorded from Genesis to Revelation, e.g. Gen. 3; Isa. 14:12-17; Matt. 13:1-9; Mark 4:1-23; Luke 4:1-13; John 8:35-36 (KJV John 8:44-45); Rev. 12:3-9. So while the Gospel may not specifically state "Satan invented the lie that God's Law is done away with, and obedience is impossible", it does make it perfectly clear that Satan did in fact invent those lies, along with every other.

In fact, there would be no need for Christ to state the following, if everyone knew that God's Law is immutable, and will never go away:

5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy The Law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill [to fully preach The Law (The Torah) and fulfill the prophecies about the first coming of the Messiah].

Instead of believing the Truth that Christ plainly stated about The Law never passing away, many "Christians" have instead chosen to believe their misinterpretations of the letters of Paul, mistakenly believing the LIES that The National, Moral Law that God gave us -- found only in Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, which contains His Commandments, Statutes and Judgments -- has somehow gone away, so that we are no longer subject to it, nor will be judged by it (Matt. 16:27). This is, of course, the exact opposite of what Christ teaches, which isn't Christ's personal doctrine, but is very obviously the doctrine of God, Who sent Christ to deliver it to us (John 7:15-17).

John 7:15-20 (note well that the "Jews" called Jesus a liar/devil, for pointing out that they were NOT keeping The Law and were seeking to kill Jesus, which they eventually succeeded in doing, proving again that Christ, through the mouth of Jesus, was telling them the truth)

7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but His that sent me.

And yes, returning to The Law that God gave us IS the Gospel message that Christ brought. The very first words Christ-Jesus preached were warning everyone to REPENT (stop sinning/breaking The Law), because Judgment Day IS coming, and people have forgotten that the punishments we suffer are the direct result of not keeping The Law.

Mark 1:14-15
1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of "The KINGDOM" of God,
1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and "The KINGDOM" of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

The Gospel ("Glad Tidings/Good News" i.e. news from God, Who IS Good) is very simple: despite all of our failings, despite all of our PAST sins (Rom. 3:25), despite our continued rebellion against God and His Law/Word, all we need to do is REPENT, i.e. STOP DOING EVIL (SINNING/BREAKING THE LAW).

This very simple message has been distorted by every single denomination/cult/sect of "Christianity" in varying degrees, including the followers of Ellen White. That is why Christ warned His People, who may still be mesmerized by "Christianity", to COME OUT OF HER, to avoid receiving her plagues and punishment, which is coming SOON (Rev. 18:4).

And obviously neither heaven nor the earth has passed away, so The Law that God gave us to protect us from all of this evil -- including the greatest oppression/tribulation in human history -- is still in effect today. In fact, God's Law is the ONLY Law that applies on this planet, and the SOLE/SOUL criterion for differentiating right from wrong, whether people believe it or not.

God gave us all of the necessary tools to create a perfect society within His Perfect Law of Liberty, found in the first five books of the Bible, namely Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.

Collectively, those books are referred to as the Torah in Hebrew which, in English, means The Law. While The Law contains what is commonly referred to as the 10 Commandments (Exod. 20:3-17, Deut. 5:7-21), which are the basic, universal principles of The Law, the whole of The Moral, National Law is often referred to as "the Commandments" because they are God's COMMANDS to us, given to us to protect us from evil and to set and keep us free.

IF we kept The Law, as we were COMMANDED to do for our own benefit, and which we all promised to do, we would all be enjoying:

TRUE FREEDOM - under the perfect system of government, where there are no banksters or politicians and their made-up money and rules

TRUE JUSTICE - with the perfect system of justice, where there are no attorneys and black-robed judges administering and enforcing satanic policies, and where everyone is taught and knows The Law

TRUE PEACE - where war is a capital offense, and all war-mongers are lawfully executed

TRUE PROSPERITY - where the perfect economic system ensures there is no crime or poverty or usury (aka "interest" - the fraudulent mechanism that has been used by the banksters to steal and monopolize the world's resources we were given and are supposed to be sharing)

THE TRUE SAFETY AND SECURITY that only God can provide

The Law also contains the perfect agricultural system, with no chemicals, GMOs, fluoridated water and other poisons, along with the perfect healthy diet, which eliminates all life-ending sickness and disease and the intentional poisoning of the soil and destruction of the natural seed, crops, plant and animal life.

BE food labels are for marketing purposes and do not convey any information about the health, safety, or environmental attributes of that food compared to non-bioengineered counterparts.

And...

Bioengineered is supposed to mean GMO, but it uses a much more narrow definition than consumers expect... Per the USDA --bioengineered foods must contain modified genetic material, which leaves out many products made with GMOs..."

It is beyond awful. Everything on this planet is being systematically poisoned for profit.

There's an old saying, attributed to the Cree Indians, which sums it up well...

When all of the trees are cut down;
When all of the rivers and lakes are polluted;

Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten.

A large portion of Christendom today believes that the gospel has nothing to do with good works. They claim all they have to do is believe and have faith in Jesus Christ. But the belief they speak of is only sentimental with no corresponding good fruit or works.

A brief study of the scriptures shows that this understanding is incorrect. Many have not taken time to study the subject for themselves. They are satisfied with accepting “pleasing fables” from false teachers that lead away from biblical truth. While it is not wrong to be taught of men, like the “noble Bereans”, we must individually confirm with scripture that those things are so.

2 Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
