Target practice is one thing. Shooting animals for fun is something else all together.People like to shoot guns..for target practice or for hunting. I actually thought I’d be one of those that liked to shoot guns..for like target practice not for hunting, but I hated it when I tried it. Its too violent for me.
If you take a life - even in self-defence - why would you not be held accountable for it? Its a bit of a drastic measure to shoot a thief who is not armed. You gave up your right to protect yourselves with guns to save the children..they thought it would work well for sandy hook here...and I thought that was how the Australian’s gave up their guns too. Whether that was give them up or tough gun restrictions.
I have read many comments and it seems that if you defend yourself against thieves...you could be the one to go to jail..that’s what I have deduced anyway. That it seems life in Britain has become easier for thieves in that sense. I could be wrong...but so many comments say otherwise.
I wouldn’t want to live with killing someone, no matter how justified others might think it is.
