I’m sure in Canada the virus feels very much like it, itself, is the boogey man. I don’t live in Canada. I’m not sure why Canada even locked down tbh because it doesn’t appear your healthcare system was ever in danger of becoming overwhelmed. That isn’t the case in the north east of the United States.

The virus isn’t the conspiracy for chrissakes. The conspiracy is that they allowed the virus to infiltrate all corners of the world when there was plenty of advanced notice to get the basic preventative measures in place before we needed them. That would have allowed us to avoid the economic shutdown and saved lives and this whole mess would have passed like a blip. We have historical precedent, we’ve been here before. We are supposed to learn from past mistakes, and I’m sure we did so the rest is purposeful.

the worst case projections said up to 2 million deaths. With that said I truly don’t understand what you guys are even arguing... is it fake? Is it not fake? Did China do it? Did 5g do it? It’s hard to follow when half the things said completely contradict the other half of the things said.

i do know this, the amount of people who’ve been going for the jugular with other posters on this site has increased quite a bit so whatever the bottom line is here they sure have succeeded in using this virus effectively to drive people even further apart. No you are the one playing into their hand by cheering on the lockdown which was in their word the only way to avoid spreading this "virus." The effect of that lockdown is predicted to kill more people than the alleged virus itself. It matters where you live because your experiences - what you see, feel, touch, taste yourself - shape how you see things and the opinions you draw about things. If you haven’t experienced this with your five senses it’s easier to write off as fake. If you haven’t lost people to it, easier to write off. If people you know haven’t been sick etc etc.

Cheering on the lockdown??? Ok buddy. First of all I said they should have unilaterally shut everything down - freeze in place if you will - for three weeks and then test everyone. In the absence of that in areas that are in danger of their medical systems being overwhelmed then yes, I do think there should have been shut downs. I do not think those shut downs should be permanant. I do think people should take the bare minimum of precaution and intitiative and try to pretend like they give a shit about others by wearing a mask. And I do not believe that anyone should be forced to return to work during the pandemic, just like I don’t think any one should be forced to stay locked in. You want to try to what? Pigeon hole anyone who doesn’t agree with you exactly? Go on with that and see how far it gets you.

When this whole mess turns out to be a way to just kickstart the new civil war, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I actually find some of the more updated information about viruses interesting and I have no doubt there is more to their story than we currently know, but this stuff about a virus not being contagious is ridiculous. I can as clear as day remember the day my mom told me my brother had chicken pox and we still had to go to the grocery store for something.

so I was playing with him while my mom was paying and I didn’t understand what it meant that chicken pox were contagious. And less than a week later, I had chicken pox.

it used to be that a mother would actually try to have all of her kids get chicken pox at once before there was a vaccine because it is a contagious virus that is shared.

My children both had a chicken pox vaccine and have never had chicken pox. Neither has anyone their own age. So whether the process of infection through viruses becomes more specific so that it changes the way see things to a degree. A virus is still contagious.
