It's not his fault and I hope he has support from his company and fans but Armies too need to understand that this is not some kind of conspiracy to destroy BTS members. This is just how Koreans treat military service. I still feel bad for T.O.P because he almost died because of Knetz and the sad thing is Knetz still haven't forgiven him completely. He has kept himself away from public eye to this day because of the horrible things he had to suffer during his military service. I remember reading somewhere that his mother even begged for Knetz to stop the hate towards him.OMG I didn't know that happened to Leeteuk, and that's so damn sad! Also mean. How are you gonna tell someone that serving their country is more important than grieving the loss of their dad and being there for their family? His family almost had a second tragedy because of what the military did. In those "regular day/idol day" poster images BT5 released a while back, YG states in his that he gets physical therapy, probably for his shoulder. That's a pretty normal thing to get post-surgery. It's not his fault he got run over and ended up with this problem. So he has to be in public service, and he gets judged even harder for it when that is outside his control. Then he makes the mistake of driving drunk on a scooter down the sidewalk, and boom, it's all a mess.
Did you know they even make stage 1-2 cancer patients enlist in military service? Korean males have said they even served in active duty with broken bones and physical disabilities. One person I read about was forced to serve with a brain tumor and there were some articles circulating on the international side about hazing in K-military service and statistics that show every day 3 persons doing military service die by suicide or try to kill themselves. The K-military service system is f**ked up and idols who get caught in scandals during military service have their reputations tarnished forever.
Leetuk's case was less of a scandal and more a tragedy so he didn't receive too much hate but the fact they even threw hate in the first place is infuriating.
However, I will say when Taemin's mental breakdown happened he didn't receive much hate and in some ways came out with an even better public image because some people who served with him in the military quickly came out to defend his character saying nice things about him but had to disclose that he was taking 6-8 depression pills per day, experiencing severe panic attacks and that the transfer was necessary for his sake so no celebrity privilege happened. Therefore, maybe if someone from the K-military side who served with Suga comes out and defends his character the hate train will die down. Hyb3 needs to do better to protect him and instead of making him apologize again and again maybe try to gather witnesses who can defend his character. Hyb3 already fumbled by lying about the case which created the mess we are in. Really, that company is stupid and then trying to manipulate information is going to make Suga's case even worse.
