IMHO... SJW politicians (and forum members) being held accountable for their lies and juvenile rhetoric is important for the USA (and forum), revealing to those watching and listening, the absurdity and superficiality of The Narrative.
Maybe not a Warren-supporter...but a Trump-hater, so... isn’t that why you people want this to go away?
It is quite damaging to The Narrative when a leftist is revealed to have (actually) committed the cardinal sin of “cultural appropriation.” The façade is dropping and the leftist wet dream is turning into a nightmare. So much winning.
I would usually agree with you. When they are legitimate lies and juvenile rhetoric regarding legitimate issues. This is stupid and distracting.
Technically, Clinton is still not being investigated further by the Trump administration, and the Clinton campaign was filled with legitimate lies and juvenile rhetoric.
It is also hypocritical of the right to make a big deal out of cultural appropriation when they claim that cultural appropriation is not a big deal. Quite frankly, I am not on board that this is a big deal and I think that if this is all both sides of the media has to throw at Warren at the moment, then she she must be one of the more innocent members of Congress aside from her past support of Clinton who I would still like to see investigated. Although, who knows when trump supporters are going to be willing to question trump. From the looks of it, this will not happen anytime soon.
In addition to this, if you are going to say that you are one of the people who is joining in with the laughter over our president calling a woman “horseface” or saying that another woman has a low iq which are actually statements that are covered by major news networks like nbc right now in addition to this warren situation, than you are just as guilty of juvenile rhetoric.
Trumps camp is quickly becoming a club where people can’t question things the same way the left has become. Just one of the many reasons I refused to vote for trump during this last election. People were making way too many excuses for him then to be a viable option to seek any kind of real justice for our country and these excuses are snowballing to the point that they are blinding people from seeing the things that are still being ignored like the Clinton investigation. This was bound to happen. If you start making excuses for people, it is probably going to be difficult to stop without creating more damage and division in the process.
Edit to add: I am not a trump hater either. I just don’t believe that joining in with the bashing of warren for this is consistent with the position I have taken regarding this subject in the past.
For example, we have a thread specifically on cultural appropriation on this forum. I can’t remember what I said exactly, but I know if I started to defend that this was legitimate, it would contradict this. The same is true with subjects that are similar to this.
Going along with what many people on social media are saying in response to these msm news reports regarding warren would require me to make statements for social reasons rather than personal convictions. I dont know about you, but I don’t personally like to form political opinions based on social reasons.
So It is for personal consistency that I said what you are quoting, not because I hate trump or support warren.
