When do you think this will come into fruition? North Korea invading the South and the anti-Christ coming. Are you saying that the anti-Christ will come to Korea?

I'm a Korean-American and my worst nightmare is NK invading the SK. So many innocent people will die. I actually want to live in SK because I love my home country and my people, but hearing that so many of my brothers and sisters might suffer or die makes me want to weep for the nation.

My dad told me that there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of tunnels underneath the Korean peninsula that connect the two Koreas. Some people aware of this are worried that NK will send thousands, millions of soldiers through these tunnels into SK and slaughter many civilians. They ask the SK government to do something about the tunnels but the Moon administration does nothing. President Moon is so leftist and Marxist that I feel like he may cause the downfall and destruction of South Korea.

I'm concerned that South Korea's demise will be inevitable because it is God's way of punishing the sinful nation. Plastic surgery is an epidemic, insane drinking culture, putting themselves and their job before God, idolizing and worshipping celebrities, extremely vain and judgmental.

What do we as Christians do when we feel as though something terrible is inevitable... that it's God's will, so no matter what we do, or how hard we pray, the devastating wrath will come down anyways?

Lord God, please do not forsake the nation of Korea. Please forgive them of their sins and guide them. I pray that they will discover You and repent to You of their deeds. Protect Korea from those who want to kill, deceive, and destroy the country and it's people. Amen.
Thanks for the prayer. But I think everything you fear is merely speculation at this point. We as human beings cannot know what will happen as God has not given us that ability. He wants us to pray and trust. When times comes, you would know things prophesied are taking place but not before. That is the difference between fortune telling and prophecy. Faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior and faith in praying will provide us a way out and to overcome. Don't worry. Jesus has overcome even death. There is nothing in heaven or on earth can separate us from Him and His deliverance no matter what. Keep on praying. And maybe read more and do devotions. I highly recommend In touch ministries' daily devotions. Amen.

I had the reverse of your problem for most of my childhood, even though I've always been an artist and I had plenty of imagination, I couldn't understand why people looked at a pentagram and automatically thought it's a star, why that shape in particular? It looks nothing like it. In time I unconsciously adopted the same mindset as everyone.
We've been presented with this shape and been told it's called a star since infancy.
Look at the nighttime sky, where do you see anything that resembles that five pointed shape?
Stina,
Welcome. So have you accepted Christ and become saved? Do you belong to a congregation that can teach you the Bible and have Christians to fellow with? Let us know how we can help!

Blessings,
Tracy

Btw, this thread is a lot of brainstorming and learning about new info as well, so please don't assume everything is fact. It can be Hit and miss.

It is a very, very long story to tell, but simply put, evidence of demonic influence in this world and of God's existence kept piling up, to which I could no longer turn a total blind eye to.
A few months after the very first time that I entertained the very, very, very slight possibility (LOL) that I might have been wrong and that I had been led astray, I asked my mom if they performed baptisms at her church and she booked the date for a few weeks later (even though I just asked IF, not to go ahead and call them LOL) . After setting the date, in the weeks prior to my baptism I was constantly trembling, I couldn't sleep, I experienced an all consuming horrible, horrible hate for the people that were to attend my baptism for things that I didn't even remember until then. The closer the day got the worse it was.
Also, I wished that I would fall ill and even tried to work myself to death, just so that I would not have to get baptised. Because you can't get baptised in the hospital and the thought of laying in a hospital bed for weeks felt more appealling than losing a couple of hours for a baptism, and I couldn't explain it in any way, it was the complete opposite of me, a very irrational thought to entertain, and I've always been a very logical person, I never thought something so absurd in my life, and I never had any problems sleeping and everything else that I had experienced.
All this and a bunch of other things that I couldn't explain away, made me somewhat aware that I might have been demonically possessed, later on I learned that it was because of what I had done in my lifetime, I had opened myself to demons because I had been into New Age, addicted to porn, because of idolatry, bisexuality, etc.)

After my baptism I finally felt alive and I felt light, also energized for the first time in my life, also I didn't feel the heavy depression that I had been plagued with since I was about five and I didn't have that feeling that I was dead inside, that horrible, horrible void that I've felt ever since a little while after I got into New Age.
Alot of things happened after getting baptised like sleep paralysis, I kept getting very blasphemous thoughts that I didn't initiate and which never in my whole life as an atheist did I ever think before (I had hated christians, not God, since I hadn't even remotely believed he existed before), basically spiritual attacks, dreams in which demons tried to engage with me sexually, also I kept on remembering Bible verses and parables which I hadnt ever read (I even knew where they where located on the page), quite a few supernatural things as well (both good and bad) and so on.

What's important to note in my case is that I didn't even truly know the significance of a baptism when I did it and also even in the morning before my baptism I was still on the fence on whether God is real, so I wasnt a true believer and I didn't know that you will become a new person or that you will feel very different, I was pretty much a noob in all things about God, the Bible & so on.
Even though I wasn't really aware of the magnitude of what I was about to do God still had mercy on me despite my idiocy and changed my life.
You know the verse "knock & it shall be opened unto you" , I never trully knocked on the door, I just kind of glanced at it from the corner of my eye (LOL), God took pity on me and did all the rest
Great testimony. Stina - may Jesus lead you to know more about him and the power of walking in the Holy Spirit who will lead you as you read and learn the Bible. One again, I really like the InTouch ministries app for devotions and sermons. Moody radio is also very good. Both are suitable for new believers as well. I think we have a prayer group here, but can't find the thread anymor l. Can anyone point us to the right direction?
Thanks!

I guess I didn't make myself clear enough. Sorry about that.

What I'm trying to ask is, how do people get to the conclusion that its a pentagram? For me, I would make it a Pentagon or a Hexagon.
I don't think they are necessarily because you have any 5 points far away enough you can draw one. Things like that don't really have real impact on our lives as evil propaganda and messages being preached anyway.

Hi everyone, I'm new here!
Yesterday I discovered this forum, as well as this thought-provoking discussion, thanks to some researches I've already been doing for some time about this topic that actually kinda frightens me. I've read some of your considerations, and I'd really appreciate any suggestions about a question of mine I'm going to ask now, based on my brief k-pop experience.
I got to know BTS and listen to k-pop just a couple of months ago. Before that, I've actually never been interested in that kind of music or those boy-bands in general. Anyway, I've always been aware of "what" hides behind this industry; I'm a rather curious and skeptical girl who likes to analyse everything about whatever and isn't so susceptible. Because of that, I started to learn about this "corruption" and to keep an eye out for it. Unfortunately, I learned all music industry revolves around these concepts, so basically every artist we come to like is involved in this "project". What I want to say is: even if I've never listened to k-pop until now, it doesn't mean I've been exempt from that influence (even if I'm able to recognize it), since I admit I listen to many American artists that sadly use this symbolism.
So I got to know BTS by chance, and I admit I like most of their songs, leaving their videos and hidden meanings aside. I've become aware of the symbolism they use, YET sometimes I can't stop humming their songs or listening to them because I simply find them catchy. And that's what makes me wonder.
I don't consider myself a "typical" Army. I'm not "obsessed" over those boys. I don't "fangirl" or cry or get too emotionally involved with their songs. They're not "my everything", I've never bought something of them or voted them. Above all, I wouldn't be here - lol -.
Until now, I've just listened to some songs and played some videos about their presumed personality to get to know them better.
But after I got "that sense" about 'em too, after I became suspicious about their messages, after what I discovered and read here... this question arises spontaneously: what do I have to do then? How should I behave? Do I have to stop listening to them? But then I also wonder: "So I should stop listening to almost every artist I know, if that's the solution!", because, as I said bafore, all music is soaked with this propaganda. But... how could I? How could we? I find it impossible! Yes, I want to detach myself from this bad influence, but at the same time, if I really enjoy listening to some songs in general, it's arduous for me to let 'em go, 'cause I'd miss these songs. And I'm pretty sure it's a common thing, not just mine.
Here I happened to read expressions like "good thing I learned to detach myself from it properly", and that made me genuinely impressed. I mean, if it's like that, what music/artist do you listen to? What's your focus? Because everything in that world is "controlled", so we can't be totally exempt. At least, that's my opinion. I could say "Oh really? So no more BTS or k-pop in general!"... but then maybe I'd focus on other genres or artists that promote in a different way the same propaganda!
That's my constant dilemma, my searching for a solution that maybe doesn't exists (and it's sad), and I'm reaching out to you because I'd like some suggestions, some answers, some brainwave to understand things better.
Would it be ok, for example, if I kept listening to their songs BUT knowing what's behind those videos and so being able to be exempt from the influence? Would it work? Is it enough?
Thanks in advance
Hi GwenDalia,

That's how I got into it at first too thinking I was safe because I'm older and do not like pop music anyway. But I think it's not just the music, but it plus the image you see of these "idols" and the delusions that the videos/scripted broadcasts help attach to your mind. And all the fun gives you escapism and removes your motivation to live in real life. Basically, they draw you in because of your curiosity, present very fun and stimulating entertainment that invokes lots of feelings and emotions that if you watch enough you attach them to the "concept" actors the BTS members. The aim is eventually you are convinced they are inhumanly beautiful and powerful. This is due to the aesthetics and makeup they formulate along with the story and music they pair them with. You basically end up immersed in a fantasy world where these guys seem real but perfect to you. You end up having imagined rapport and admiration for them and feel as you know them so that your mind cannot tell fiction from reality anymore. You really end up thinking you know them and they care for you. Well except they are not those things and you don't know them. In a way, watching and listening to K-Pop is lik stepping out of the real world and stepping into virtual reality and living in that world instead of the real world. This will be a future trend not unlike what the movi Matrix was predicting. This is why for Christians knowing Christ who is the Truth is so important. Because Satan is always trying to deceive us to give us what is real and true and live in a lie.

I must admit I am still struggling to completely break free of my attachment that was already built because I foolishnessly fell into BTS and became very addicted to Jimin because he seems so talented and cute. It was only since I trying to cut ties the temptation to browse his news and videos became very strong. I'm schocked by how powerful this stuff is. This is also why I realize I have to resist all the more. I find the only way to counter K-Pop is having Moody radio praise music on, read God's Word to humbl myself and refuse to step into the virtual world anymore. If you check one video, you may check another. So best replace that with something positive to do. As for music, I used to listen to instrumental mainly, classic, jazz or anything else, but mostly worship songs really help keep me in the right place. Reading the New Teatament and searching to God's will helps too. Remove your devices from your house and leaving them only at work or school may also help. It I think being honest with people who can pray for you and hold you accountable helps more!

Hope you the best,
Blessings!

And to be completely honest, I'm guilty of doing some of this as well. I don't even consider myself a k-pop fan but I'll find myself watching a certain MV (like Red Velvet's Bad Boy) over and over again for no reason. Like I'm drawn to it even though I'm not a fan. I just find the video so aesthetically pleasing and completely enamored with Red Velvet's members. I think it partly has to do with having pride for my ethnicity and since Koreans have always been under the radar up until now, or maybe it's also the demonic influence. So I really can't blame the fans for doing this because I totally get it.
You might want to consider stopping it altogether soon because I have seen many male youtubers even falling into K-Pop thinking they're not fans. I'm an female adult and did the same thing it surprised me. Get out before you cannot anymore. It gets really hard.

I also see so many comments from girls saying "omg I'm so gay for ______" or "______ is turning me gay" and I feel like they're joking but also kinda being serious at the same time lol.
Yes true. We discussed this a bit earlier here before about gay shipping. The company and group starts these illusions to get young fans believing the members are in secret crushes on each other and once the fans have some reaction, the members will produce enough "evidences" and affectionate "looks" in videos to confirm their delusions and coupling everything with romantic music drives the fans to see these perceived gay couples as having "pure" love of each other secretly. And then they add in sexual,y suggestive choreography and skinship to turn it all sexual. It literally becomes a fetish for these girls and then they produce gay fanfics to keep feeding it. It doesn't get darker and more satanic than this. If you go on YouTube and type in any two members' names you find tons of shipping videos along with crazy girl fans fawning over them. Just today, I pasted a bunch of comments under some of those vids and tried to tell them it's all fake. I don't really read the replies because there are some who are far gone.

Sorry for late reply, i've been busy last week because of friend's wedding preparation.

For Tee, i've seen the 'encounter with Jesus' as a vision, i don't know how to explain it, i'm in sober condition and standing while praying and see that vision. Thankyou for believing my story, i know God is working at your life too. Keep blessing and helping anothers :)

I don't know what happen, but devil attack me aggressively these days, right after i'd tell my testimony of life in this forum. I guess it breaks someone's chain since it 100000 views in this thread, it may help someone's life. 3 days ago i'm beated by my mother again, and my father shouting me like i'm a criminal. Now my family treat me like a prisoner, they took my phone and threating my friends. Something like this already happen before, they beated me almost everyday, humiliated me everywhere, beated and threated my friend too, all of that causing me to commit suicide 4 years ago, i'm lost at a battlefield in my mind. but my suicide turnout to be failed. Now devil's like doing the same thing again hoping me to desperate and take a stupid action. But i'm not the same person as i am 4 years ago. But you guys can support me in your prayers too. Thankyou all. Bless.
I am so sorry to hear that you are going through such times. Stay strong in faith in Christ and his promises.

The following analysis is taken from http://gall.dcinside.com/board/view/?id=baseball_new6&no=4558498

The time in the clock tower of the Illuminati Card shows 2:11 which could mean February 11 - the time of Pyeongchang Olympics

The background of the card is like the Taeguk pattern:

The color of the clothes the people wear in the Illuminati card resemble the logo used for Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in 2018 to Tokyo Summer Olympics in 2020.

Unlike some people might have thought, the clock in the Illuminati card is not the Big Ben, but it is the Wako clock tower in Tokyo. It doesn't look like Big Ben at all.

From 2018 to 2020, the world will be destroyed by war.

Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to Inmyeonjo (인면조) —Man-faced bird—

1518199997.gif

From The Verge:
The internet can’t decide whether it loves or fears the Pyeongchang Olympics’ human-faced sacred bird
NBC isn’t even streaming the Winter Olympics opening ceremony until 8pm ET tonight, but in the time since the event happened live yesterday in Pyeongchang, Korean netizens have made enough fan art and memes out of the ceremony’s man-faced bird that it’s trending nationally on Twitter, and hitting #1 on Yahoo! Japan trending search results.
“인면조,” or Inmyeonjo, literally translates to “human-faced bird.” The trending tag “인면조 너무” translates to “Inmyeonjo is so,” which is a partial sentence people have completed in different ways, including “Inmyeonjo is so scary,” and “Inmyeonjo is so handsome.” People feel very strongly about this animal one way or another, but are divided on whether it’s terrifying:
Or actually kind of dreamy:
Translation: “The more I look at it, the better-looking it seems.”
Translation: “I love the Inmyeonjo”
So just what is this thing? The Inmyeonjo is a legendary animal that appears in East Asian mythology and Buddhist scripture as a fantastical creature with a human head and a bird’s torso. It dates back to the Goguryeo period of Korean history, even appearing in cave drawings:
Translation: This bird from Pyeongchang Opening ceremony is called Goguryeo Inmyeonjo. They can be found in ancient tombs and several cultural properties from the Goguryeo era, including the famous old tomb in Deokheung-ri. From the left, it’s called Ha-jo, Cheon-ju, and Man-se. The right one is the human-faced bird from a particular ancient tomb, but there is no name for it.
The Inmyeonjo is supposed to appear when there’s peace on earth, connecting the heavens and the earth for a thousand years — which explains why the Olympics would consider it a potent symbol of international union. True to its duty as a supposed symbol of unity, it’s certainly unifying the internet in terror and confusion. (Lee's note: Now, why would a symbol of peace create terror and confusion? If I were to make a symbol for peace, I would make it as easy to comprehend as possible, doesn't matter whether it's derived from a local tradition/belief, a sign of peace should have been more simple and more importantly, doesn't create confusion since TERROR AND CONFUSIONS ARE THE ROOTS OF CHAOS —the exact opposite of peace).
Translation: “I searched Inmyeonjo in Chinese and the related searches are ‘Inmyeonjo scary’ lolol”
Here’s an extreme close-up to haunt/bless your dreams tonight, depending on how you feel about it.
Translation: Anyone want to see the Inmyeonjo look hideous? Lololol
It’s been less than 24 hours since the world has been introduced to Inmyeonjo, and already there’s enough gorgeous and haunting fan art for a parody twitter account posing as the birdto keep track of it all. It promises to protect you and reminds you to love yourself, so I’m guessing its persona is firmly on Team “Handsome Guardian.” (Lee's note: Remember that the Devil is often depicted as a charming, handsome/beautiful persona, I will talk about this more in the following notes).
Additional translation provided by James Park.
So what's the deal, anyway? It's just part of the Korean culture.
.
.
.
Uh, really?

(Human-headed-bird), one of the paintings discovered in the Goguryeo tombs. Doesn't this remind you of Horus' phoenix imagery? This image is also said to be the inspiration for Inmyeonjo character.

Similar stuff as the Babylonian Lamassu, Sumerian Nergal, Egyptian Ba Bird, etc.

I looked up some articles about Inmyeonjo and here's what I found. I put the original Korean paragraphs so you know which lines I'm referring to since I didn't translate every line:

The imagery was thought to be derived from Taoism religion, that is depicted in the murals of the Goguryeo Tomb Mural - Deokheungri (408 A.D.). It was titled "萬歲之象". As the name suggests, it symbolizes longevity and the face represents the face of a 仙人 (rishi/sage). It was initially thought that there are similar characteristics with 가릉빈가 (Buddhists beings such as kalavinka, the human-headed bird musicians, and apsarasas, or the flying fairies, also appeared frequently), but then it was concluded that the image has no direct relation to 가릉빈가 and there is no religious color.
In fact, considering the setting itself, the modeling of Inmyeonjo itself is well-made to suit the needs of the audience. However, the head figure (that is said to resemble a dragon) is a person with a perfect face, which attracts universal fear, it shakes around without unity or stability. Because of the appearance, it looks bizarre and it catches people's attention. In the Eastern region, there is a sense of distance (unfamiliarity) between "what we already know" and "what we are not familiar with". It is bizarre, even moving. It looks like he (Inmyeonjo) was trying to make a playful look.
The figure was initially thought to be a "Confucian dragon". It makes sense because in traditional culture, people may instantly think that the headwear on Inmyeonjo's head to be related to Confucianism. However, as mentioned above, Inmyeonjo does not correspond to Confucianism because it is an imaginary animal taken from the Goguryeo tomb murals, and thus Confucian dragon is not a proper nickname. In fact, Goguryeo itself has also shown its image of Taoism in the records of 삼국사기 (a historical record of the Three Kingdoms of Korea: Goguryeo, Baekje and Silla) and 삼국유사 (Memorabilia of the Three Kingdoms).
If you think it thoroughly though, Goguryeo had established Taehak (also known as Taixue(太學) —the system of the highest education in Han Dynasty and the place where the scriptures of a Confucian was taught.) at the national level. In the Confucian view, there is a strong argument that Goguryeo was not treated/seen as an "aristocratic Buddhist priesthood". Goguryeo was a kingdom that used its own customs, Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and so on, and it is far from extreme vilification and repression policy like Joseon (the Kingdom of Great Joseon). If you repressed Taoism, there would not have been tomb murals. Even though Inmyeonjo is said to be related to Taoism and Confucianism, the name "Confucian dragon" is just so wrong, historically speaking.
*The next paragraphs of the article talks about the possibility of Inmyeonjo being related to China's Northeast Project (东北工程) and Goguryeo controversies. I just want to point out that "Inmyeonjo" has no actual root in the Korean culture and has no relation to any traditional religion (or there's just very little connection) in South Korea either.

Now let's take a deeper look

From Co.Design:
Whether you call him Satan, Lucifer, or Mephistopholes, he’s a beast with even more faces than he has names. Over the past five centuries, artists have variously depicted the devil as a fanged, horned demon; as an armored, Apollo-like army leader; and as a tailor of Nazi uniforms. A new exhibition at Stanford’s Cantor Art Center, Sympathy for the Devil: Satan, Sin and the Underworld, presents 40 works from 500 years of artistic portrayals of history’s most famous fallen angel, along with his minions and his evil realm.
“Obviously, people are more fascinated with evil than with good,” curator Bernard Barryte tells Co.Design. “Just look at the TV shows and movies from the last several seasons–there’s a natural human curiosity about horror.” In the earlier depictions of Satan, hailing from the 1500s and 1600s, this intrigue with horror is projected onto an image of a bestial, inhuman demon. But as the centuries go on, artists start rendering the personification of evil as, well, one of us. How did Satan’s image evolve from that of a goat-like demon to more like your next door neighbor? How do artists decide what the devil looks like?
In later centuries, depictions of Satan in art evolved from a wretched beast to a more human figure. “By the 18th century, he’s ennobled, almost looking like an Apollo,” Barryte says–as seen in Thomas Stothard’s “Satan Summoning His Legions,” from 1790. That was due to the aftermath of the French and American revolutions, which tried to excise the more superstitious elements of religion. “People interpreted the figure less as demonic creature and more as heroic rebel against the oppression of the paternal god,” Barryte says. These renderings were also influenced by John Milton’s Paradise Lost, several editions of which are on view here, which drew Satan as an almost pitiable tragic hero.
In the 19th century, the publication of Goethe’s Mephistopholes in Faustand Mark Twain’s Mysterious Stranger influenced artists to portray Satan as much more of “a sly, cunning, dandyish type of figure,” as Barryte says. “Instead of scaring people into sin and intimidating them, he now uses persuasion.” And he has to look appropriate for the part: more weasely than bestial. In the exhibit, this trickster side of Satan is seen in a bronze statue depicting him as Mephistopholes, by the artist Ude.
Angel Of Light
When he does appear, the Devil appears as an angel of light.
And no marvel; for even Satan fashions himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).

Because Satan is the master deceiver, coming as an angel of light, he appears as a beautiful, tempting, creature - not something ugly or repulsive.
From Time to Wake Up:
This, then, is the end-goal of Illuminism: To destroy earth, debase civilization, end pure spirituality, induce chaos on earth, and bring order according to Satan’s Illuminati script. Earth is to be hell and hell on earth: As Above, So Below.
This is the meaning of the double-headed Eagle; the androgynous joining of man and woman; the mixing of the yin and yang; the checkerboard, black and white floors of the Masonic Lodges; the mirror images of the Rosicrucians; the sulphurous tale of Beauty and the Beast; the witches parable of the lovely lady vs. the crone on her broom; the Druid/Satanic/Catholic alternating of black and white priest vestments; the front and obverse (hidden) sides of the Great Seal of the United States; the reversing of the cross and the reading of the Lord’s Prayer backwards in satanic worship, ad nauseam.
All fields, all things, must be reversed. Negative must be transmuted into positive. Bad will be good. Black shall be white. The ugly shall be adjudged beautiful and the beautiful is to be spoiled, scarred, and made repugnant and revolting. God shall be debased and Satan exalted.
Illuminism, therefore, is a system of dualism (thesis and antithesis) which cyclically repeats as synthesis results. Then, the conflicting forces of the duality cycle clash again, with synthesis being achieved once more. Always the synthesis, the temporary solution or form, is unfrozen, the process of two competing forces reignited, and the cycle is continued.
Now you understand why Inmyeonjo gives off both good and bad vibes at the same time; charming yet also scares the sh*t out of you, right?

Also, let's not forget how the government of South Korea welcomes the international visitors of Pyeongchang Winter Olympics 2018:

Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to Inmyeonjo (인면조) —Man-faced bird—

(Human-headed-bird), one of the paintings discovered in the Goguryeo tombs. Doesn't this remind you of Horus' phoenix imagery? This image is also said to be the inspiration for Inmyeonjo character.

Similar stuff as the Babylonian Lamassu, Sumerian Nergal, Greek Siren, Egyptian Ba Bird, etc.

The connection between Seo Taiji and BTS:

Left: Seo Taiji and Boys in the "Come Back Home" video; Right: Cover art for BTS's "Come Back Home"
When Seo Taiji & Boys debuted their rap-rock breakup song "I Know" on a talent show on one of Korea's major television networks, they received the lowest score of the night for their performance.

Though Seo Taiji & Boys soon disbanded in 1996, their career was a game changer. The group not only shook things up with their sound and look, they challenged the status quo in their lyrics as well, shouting the frustrations of young people and pushing the boundaries of pop music in their country. They were met with pushback from the industry and the older generation, often banned from TV broadcasts, and even accused of sneaking satanic messages in their songs to brainwash young people. But the group and their fans pushed right back, eventually changing censorship laws and industry standards.
BTS recently remade Seo Taiji's 1995 song "Come Back Home," which rails against societal pressures on young people that push them to run away from home. In their remake, BTS speak about the frustrations of today's youth, which aren't so different from those felt over 20 years ago. In their version, J-Hope and Rap Monster especially shine, as the former's dynamic delivery combines with the latter's hard-hitting approach in a way that both borrows from the anger and energy of the original and injects it with some Bangtan style.

The remake is part of Time Traveler, a project to celebrate 25 years since Seo Taiji's debut that will culminate in a concert in Seoul on September 2. Other artists also participated with their own remakes. Urban Zakapa and Younha took the softer "Moai" and "Take Five" and updated them with more polished and cinematic versions, while rappers Loopy and Nafla of MKIT Rain translated the intensity of "Internet War" into their own sinister remake. Yet of the many artists who participated in Time Traveler, BTS was the most successful with its remake, perhaps because the group is the one whose career has most closely followed in Seo Taiji's footsteps. Like Seo Taiji & Boys were in their day, BTS is a hip-hop group known for their choreography, experimenting with different styles, and voicing the pains of the youth in their music. And while "Come Back Home" is an actual cover of Seo Taiji, it's not the only instance of BTS taking a cue from their predecessors."Classroom Idea," another of Seo Taiji's songs that remains relevant, criticizes the school system for being so stringent and suffocating and more like a factory than anything. In it, Seo Taiji returns to his metal roots and screams that enough is enough, that he doesn't want to be a part of this. The abrasive style of the song and its criticisms is what led many parents to accuse the group of inserting satanic messages in their music to brainwash their children. Nearly 20 years later, BTS picked up on the same themes in their school trilogy (2 Cool 4 Skool, O!RUL8,2?, Skool Luv Affair). In the trilogy, BTS focuses on the problems high school and college students grapple with, namely the pressure from parents and society to do well in school, get a good job, and make money.

Their debut song "No More Dream" talks about the aspirations of young people being predetermined and all about money and laments that this leaves them with no real dreams of their own. "N.O" later followed with critiques of the rigid school system and its mind-numbing effects, just as Seo Taiji did in "Classroom Idea." But BTS didn't just say enough is enough, they rallied young people right along with them to say no to the narrow path they're expected to walk. (The dystopian classroom music video was a nice touch.)
Even before their debut, Jin, Rap Monster, and Suga came together for "Tears of School," a song that, over Kendrick Lamar's "Swimming Pools," describes the school as a flawed mini-society created by adults, a battleground in which there are no winners. When Suga talks about being taught to step on others to climb to the top, he reiterates a problem that Seo Taiji also witnessed. The connection between the groups is obvious, and it's no surprise that BTS went on to perform "Classroom Idea" at KBS's end of year concert last year.

And because there's no social commentary shortage, fans who are more immersed know to seek it out. Earlier this year, BTS released "Spring Day," a song about friendship lost and missed. Fans of the group analyzed everything from the song's lyrics to the music video's imagery and the formations of the performance choreography and some concluded that it was a tribute to the young lives lost in the Sewol ferry tragedy of 2014. Whether it was intended or not, the group's trajectory thus far leads fans to seek deeper meaning in their music, just as Seo Taiji did 25 years ago.
Idk, but did you copy and paste this? It seems familiar

This comment has infuriated me. "without black culture kpop would be nothing" WTF? View attachment 3852
It is right and wrong in its ways. Kpop artists are usually influenced by hip hop (which if you didn't know is black culture). This is why they always mention it (hiphop, hiphop is dead, SwAEg) it makes me cringe honestly. Even BTS was heavily chains, money, bad boy, outlaw, hip hop etc. during debut. Don't even get me started on black appropriation (boa in nega dola with kinky hair and edges done.. Tragic). Tbh, k-hip hop is much worse. I think that comment was a 10 but the "without black culture thing" could have been said differently.

Oh my goodness, ww3 could be earlier than I expected :(, I thought its somewhere in 2021 or 2022

it will be great if there is way to stop olympic games, at least there plans could be delayed

The new Terminal 2 Incheon Airport
This scary bird is satanic, its evil, it give no sense of peace or anything good, its not related to whatsoever to Buddhism, there is no such thing, they want to deceive the audience
