Yes, I think the shipping was not started by fans, but by the company. Jimin is always asked to do explicit stuff like touching more intimate areas of members, vs Jin only dabbing foreheads. It is possible that JK and Jimim have already been briefed on the purpose (i.e. act like gay couple). You can see this kind of direction through the storyline they have for them. Another proof is the 4th Muster performance of Best of Me, JungKook and Jimin are put together to do a segment of the dance where they each take turn to sort of suggestively "hump" dance with each other from behind. Based on a BBC interview below , their choreographer is not themselves but this guy (who's close with their gay boss Bang PD) at 1:11,

Why I think JK is not gay and Jimin is only being made to look gay (or the company is actually trying to seduce them in hope they really would have so much contact that they become gay) is that where proper filming is not done, they are hardly together. Check out ISAC 2017 clips and you can see Jimin hangs out mostly with V and Jin the whole time, and again loves to sit near Twice all the time. Jungkook is hanging out with other friends. When they do stand together, there was no skinship or anything special, but Jimin plays with V because in real life they are like buddies.

I agree with the top 2 videos help, but I struggle with whether the third is scripted. They usually script even the pranks. It would seem they want Jimin to appeal to both male and female. Especially at the end of the prank on him, he sort of gave a bit of a dance move. Sometimes I worry because of years of manipulation and blockage from girls he may be confused especially given his drastic weight loss and obsession with his face. However, I do think he is still attracted to women. Now, I don't believe in shipping, and I think focusing on people's movements along with romantic music can be very delusional. But this clip at 1:52 shows that at least he's REALLY smiley after bowing to these girls and turns around. Now, if you are not interested in the opposite sex, wouldn't you bow with a smile and it quickly fades into a relaxed composure. He looks a little too happy to me. Whether he is interested in a particular one is hard to say, but normally guys are generally very happy to see hot girls. I think BlackPink is seen as such. I was on YouTube and becoming very angry with people who made channels to "gay ship" these BTS members so I wrote comments explaining why their behavior and having such a channel not only is disrespectful of their human rights for privacy but also turn them into sexually charged fantasy consumption. I told them that the more materials they produce like that and the more fans click and visit these videos, BTS's management company will make them act out more degrading behaviors against their will. Then I copied my comments onto a series of similar video's and already three videos have come down.
I encourage you to try to voice your well-written opinions as well. But It may be helpful to approach the problems not with a "conspiracy"-mindedness, but simply point out facts and help raise awareness. Be prepared, because some fans are literally crazy and they will use abusive language. What I do is simply respond: "Sorry that you used abusive language and cannot reason. However, I will not stop speaking the truth and will continue to comment." This can then be copied over and over.

Thank you so much. So, through that video you sent me I found out that it was taken from Korea Next "Finding Hallyuwood" program on Discovery Channel and I found the uncut version. Earlier someone wondered if the subtitle was not correct, I must say it is accurate, not to mention that the subtitle was actually official since the whole program was in English.

I doubt he knew it would be BTS but rather a general prediction. None of them knows the whole thing and everyone is concentrated on themselves along. It's the same in real life - they push you to go to school, then to university, find a job, have kids. You don't speak with your ex classmates but you getting older you can predict what the next will probably be.

if you check at the end of the video, he actually said in 5 years from now which was in 2012, so its surely he knows it, but I am not sure if he knows its particularly BTS or not, but he does knows that, and he said the process already begin from that time to produce the success, and Kpop is so much interconnected and scripted
I just don't understand how people can like BTS so much while they know they are already made for us to like them, by liking them we actually contributed to this plan

bighit is a small company and BTS are their only artist so it's normal for the big companies to use them for this experiment
