It’ll be interesting to see how the US & UK respond to this. The ICJ found that South Africa has a case against Israel, admitting that there is grounds to proceed with the case as there a reasonable concerns that Israel isn’t acting in accordance with international law and could allegedly be committing a genocide. (I mean it’s clear as day but they have to use all this long winded vocab to appear impartial).

Will The UK & US pressure Israel to up (or finally start) its allowance for aid to enter Gaza? Will they call for more transparency in their military operations? They’ll definitely continue to fund and arm them under the banner of ‘self defence’ but they’ll have to be careful as they’ll be watched closely for the next month.

My guess is The Israelis will probably bomb a few communication towers or borders and say khamas did it. This will allow them to continue their tyranny as no one will be able to document it and aid won’t enter as khamas are targeting borders and checkpoints. The UK & US will look as if they’re helping Israel defend themselves and that’ll justify their actions over the next 4 weeks.

I think in an earlier post Craig Murray called it,

"I expect tomorrow will be a fudge. The court will say it will decide on the case in due course, and in the meantime Israel should be careful to take all steps to comply with international humanitarian law and to take all necessary actions to crack down on incitement to genocide. Then nothing would change."

Which is what the Americans were calling for.

There's also this from consortium news,

The Court’s actions amount to little more than what the United States has been saying publicly about Israel’s conduct, that it must not commit acts that amount to war crimes. The U.S. has not gone as far as to tell Israel not to commit genocide but the Court’s action falls far short of what South Africa and much of the world has been demanding.

Thinking about it what a bitch slap that is to America to have to get the ICJ to parrot what they've been telling the Israelis to do for months and the Israelis just ignored them.

Most powerful country in the world my arse.

Israeli officials accuse ICJ of antisemitic bias

Israeli officials have accused the international court of justice of antisemitic bias and expressed dismay that a South African case alleging that the war in Gaza amounts to genocide was not thrown out altogether, after the court issued an emergency interim ruling.

Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said in response to the ruling that his country was committed to upholding international law, as well as defending its people. He said in a statement:

The vile attempt to deny Israel this fundamental right [to self-defence] is blatant discrimination against the Jewish state, and it was justly rejected.

While Israel is often dismissive of the UN, alleging the international organisation is biased against it, it took the ICJ case very seriously, sending a robust legal team to The Hague that argued it had a right to defend itself after the 7 October Hamas attack.

Yoav Gallant, Israel’s defence minister, who was cited by the court president for calling Palestinians “human animals” at the start of the Israeli offensive, said:

The international court of justice went above and beyond, when it granted South Africa’s antisemitic request to discuss the claim of genocide in Gaza, and now refuses to reject the petition outright.

Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s far-right national security minister, tweeted:
This court does not seek justice, but rather the persecution of the Jewish people. Decisions that endanger the continued existence of the state of Israel must not be listened to. And we must continue defeating the enemy until complete victory.

They ethnically cleansed the Palestinians because the Jews "lived there 2000 years ago"
Nope. There has literally been Jews (read: Israelites) living in the land of Israel (the region of Palestine) for the past 2000 years.

Just cuz a brother from a different mother showed up during that time doesn’t change the fact that the Jews have as much claim to the land as the Arabs that moved in.

It isn’t as black and white is the oppression/oppressor matrix makes it appear.

However, there is no denying it is a messy situation.

Wow your ignorance of world history equally matches your ugly personality. Jews lived in the entire ME region from Egypt to Iran in perfect harmony (for the most part) with Muslims and Christians for oh... 1800 years until European and Zionist colonizers invaded the region.

We've already posted probably 100 articles and videos in this thread explaining that Zionism was never a religious movement- Hertzl or Ben-Gurion were complete secularists. In fact Zionism was rejected by the majority of Orthodox Judaism. Stupid trolls are afraid to look at the truth that Zionists of the 1930's were openly allied with Nazism and Fascism to achieve their terrorist agenda to steal the land of Palestine (and more).

Lastly in terms of modern international law or republican states, the fact you reference an imagined people called the Israelites as a historic tribe is childlike. King David, the 1st temple, or Moses etc may be part of your religion but are not historical figures. A map you drew from your fabled book, claiming to steal my land would be lol ridiculous in a court of law.
