just what 30 somethingyear old is supposed to find interesting in groups who are debuting 16 year olds. thats whats weird to me about the newer generations and in a way they too also seek an older fan base but their music sometimes fails to attract me to their groups depending on how badly the song was put together or their vocals failing them.

groups like nct and seventeen for example, someone want to tell me why theybpopular?

yeah theres some edgy songs here or there but its still not that vastly different for example in recent groups i have yet to see a group not use choreo for all of their songs, that would be cool to see how they would do that but bc dance and the idols looks is what attracs their fans their vocals sometimes go unnoticed as the groups main attraction is dance and them looking good dancing whihc ngl some idols do look good dancing. but why cant there be an all singing group instead of giving idols dumb titles like visual or lead dancer?

Golden Girls is your best option for all singing group, old lady group formed by JYP Recently. Actually they are pretty good lmao! Second best is Red Velvet, dont get me wrong talented but so much occult imagery with their songs

i think i remember their group name and yes i used to really like red velvet but their recent songs just why? i like ateez vocals but some of their newer songs just ehhhh i think wonderland, answer and deja vu is their best songs along with black cat nero has such an awesome punky sound to it kinda has western european with eurovision vibes to it. also uk going to flop again this year bc brexit and they put some gay guy for our singer. just going to be another repetitive crummy pop song with some camp dude for sympathy points

I don't think blackface is a big deal in asia. Because they never had black slavery. Or blackface minstrels Why should they change their culture to match Western guilt? Sounds like cultural colonialism.

1. cultural colonialism wouldn't apply cuz they did it to give thanks to their international fans. The only way to truly do that is to truly understand western audiences which they didn't cuz blackface is a serious issue for many people around here

2. Even if they don't learn what it is in Korea, and accidentally use it, as long as they learn that it's not okay it's fine. Plus, Korea itself has a ton of issues regarding colorism and other issues so what do you think blackface is used for over there?

tbqfh i didnt really care for such incident. i think mamamoo is old enough to learn from it tho which im sure the members did. same for any group that fucks up they should always be given chance to be forgiven otherwise its bit hypocritical and i dont like the way so many fan bases will got to hell and back to cancel idols for saying or doing something mildly wrong either. yeah mamamoo did wrong but they havent done it since so it not an issue to me. i also dont like the way so many false assumptions about idols esp if they go to clubs or get kicked out of a group its way too unfair and makes kpop more harsh. also what the hellnis going on with all the bullying accusations? people really digging for reasons to get groups cancelled or idols thrown out of companies.
