most celebs at some point will hve had plastic surgery it isnt anything new... even the celebs that you would least expect to get surgery would get it done to fit a certain appearance. be it footballers, performers or actors.

Yeah, even Tom Jones was at it, He had a nose full of character when he first started out in the 60's (left), but soon had a nose job (right).
My mother said "Ridiculous, now it looks like a little bit of putty stuck on his face".
He later also had a chin and eyelid job, what a bloody fairy..:)

Remember back when I talked about Eddy of JJCC and how he got out of that group and got married? Yeah, same group. It's no surprise they all got out. I'm happy they can actually live their lives now because TPTB weren't too heavily in control of South Korean ENT industry back then.

Same.

Prepare yourselves for a long story and trigger warnings.

When I first got into kpOp in 2014 it was because of the culture of the west I desperately wanted to escape. I was suicidal, couldn't find joy in life and the content I was putting in my brain wasn't helping. Most music in the west and the artists themselves are dull and lifeless and whenever they had an upbeat song it was about sex drugs or money. Kp0p at that time was very tame and the artists felt more like friends compared to the west so I dropped all the garbage in the west that was melting my brain and making me depressed, anxious and suicidal. KpOp was an easy escape that gave me hope for humanity again. I can say that kp0p saved my life, at least, for a time, because I know I would've finally succeeded in my suicide attempts had I continued my same path.

I listened to KpOp RELIGIOUSLY until I had cleaner thoughts and could sleep at night. But it's just as JYP preached about one time. It was just escapism and didn't solve the fundamental problem of not having constant joy and having to die one day. That's when I studied 8 of the major religions in order to understand how to fully solve my problems and eliminate fear of death and fear of a higher power. Of course, Christianity made the most sense and I could always explain that in further detail if you need me too.

The point is, when I got into kpOp, I adandoned the west and refused to listen to it's trash ever again. I even broke all my old CDs from western artists. I think I also liked B@bymetal around that time but after being transformed with the renewing of my mind I couldn't support them any longer either because of their mock crucifixions. KpOp stood out because it was in touch with their culture and the music seemed relatively harmless. Not only that, but kp0p had so many messages of striving to be good, loving other people, and being beautiful. The concepts as you said above were also creative and interesting. I read online how hard it was for them to be an idol with their hectic schedules and work-out routines. It was their inspirational work ethic that really stood out to me the most. It inspired me to lose weight. I remember fasting for 48 hours on just an apple and a couple slices of zucchini while also working out to the same morning routine that the group JJCC was doing. Those guys would wake up at around 5:30 and do Pilates for 45 minutes and then have to jog all the way from their dorms to their recording studio before 7 AM!!! I remember pouring the sweat while jogging and shouting "If Eddy can do it, so can I!!!" There were a lot of times I jogged until I threw up. Also, athletes feet became an issue for me but I managed to lose 25 lbs in 4 weeks. Oh yeah! My JJCC bias Eddy also got out of the industry, went to the military for 2 years and then got married!!! I'm so happy for him he was my first male idol I stanned and now he has a daughter. KpOp stars like him really helped me to grow as a person.

I know this is a long reply but I said all of that to let everyone know I'm living proof that kp0p can certainly enhance your life and make you a better person. The problem with most kp0p fans today is instead of using kp0p to better themselves as I have, they seek to change it. They unrelentingly nag these stars to conform to and accept THEIR standards, THEIR values and THEIR ideologies instead of the opposite. Many fans in the west these days are seeking kp0p just to get out of the mess in the west as I did, yet instead of dropping the west completely they hold onto it, then flock to kp0p like a bunch of hungry fruit-fly maggots to a fresh piece of fruit. They're never satisfied and won't stop until they consume the whole fruit tree, leaving the once beautiful and unique kp0p culture as nothing more than the same wasteland they were trying to escape. They only use kp0p to consume for their own perverted greed, instead of as an enhancement to their corrupt lives. Of course, the companies only look at the big dollar signs in the west and will continue to plant fruit trees, in order to gather as many maggots as possible to consume and destroy it, all for their own profit. The fans are just as much a product as their idols and only the few people who have become aware of it are able to truly enjoy kp0p AS IS without seeking to change it. I say this, yet now I think kp0p isn't worth it anymore. It's nice to listen to the old songs that saved my life from time to time, but never again will I stan an idol. Most of my favorite idols realized this truth too and got out when they saw the opportunity, so I can still follow them on Instagram.

You want to see change, then pray pray pray because now that kp0p is global it will take an act of God to save these poor young people from this darkness, both inside and outside the industry.
Here it is Enoch

The amount of idols who like this show is staggering. I wrote in my "K-Pop and p***philia" article months ago that these idols who are sexually abused by pedos will be the next generation of pedos. I hate being right.

Half the teachers at my school in the 1960's were peedos but we couldn't complain to the headmaster because he was their ringleader, he must have groped the asses of every boy in the school (including mine) at one time or another, but we just regarded him as an eccentic old perv and simply laughed it off, it never traumatised us in the slightest..:)

Sure but you're comparing that to the prostitution that goes on in this industry. There's no comparison. They are trained to become the next gen pedos. They gotta keep grooming future generations of innocent kids.

The funny thing about Kpop is that as much as it tries so hard to push into the western market by westernizing and copying trends, Jpop still has more listerners in the US and Europe. It is more popular with zero marketing except anime and manga. You have to give the Japanese credit for keeping the cultural integrity and identity compared to the koreans (no hate). IMO Jpop and rock have that distinctive sound that most people recognize.

This song went viral with zero western promo.
Difference between an artist and an ”idol” or karaoke singer is obvious.

And some Japanese 80s city pop songs still sounds fresh.

This is probably because Japanese make better and more diverse music. In Japan they don't follow trends. The focus is more on an artist's individual identity. The reverse happens in SK where artists who are not following the latest trends are called "uncool" and fall of the gps radar.

A lot of kpop stans are making this about their favs and connecting this with the CBX lawsuit but Team1n wasn't talking about raising idol's salaries he asked for regular employees at $M to be paid better because a lot of $M's staff have left recently. People always talk about these idols being overworked and mistreated by companies but the regular workers probably have it much worse. Most idols who become famous are making millions and live a luxurious lifestyle. They don't need our sympathies. A lot of them are also a**holes who fake the entire sweet and innocent personality. K-pop stans always cry about their favs being mistreated and often send hate to the stylists, make-up artists and social media teams for being biased and "sabotaging" their favs when these people are probably treated 10x worse than the idols. These staff workers deserve more respect. The staff is responsible for making everything from teasers to album designs to the actual MVs. Our sympathies should be with the regular Korean workers who are also the victims of this system. A lot of these people are like us just working hard trying to make their ends meet.
