I have a different opinion about much of the information (read: propaganda) in this thread than most who have posted.

Such as: It seems to me that genocide, or eradication, only works if a group is getting smaller, not bigger. The history of population growth in the Palestinian Territories tells a different story.

Attempting to justify the actions of Hamas terrorists with the narrative: “Israel is getting what it has coming to it for genocide of the Palestinian people, blah, blah, blah…” is propaganda that bears little resemblance to the true condition of the Palestinian people and provides cover to extremists who want to watch the world burn.

So post and enlighten us, you came to your conclusions through reading something.

Isn’t it, though. So far, reason has presented facts (increased population in Palestinian Territories) that dispel the narrative of a genocide of the Palestinian people.

The whole justification for the “Palestinian (Hamas) Resistance (Terrorism)” rests on “Israel Bad, because Genocide!” which seems to be the overriding theme in this thread.

If you want to argue that Israel is setting out to eradicate Hamas terrorists, well, Netanyahu was pretty clear about that so, you’ll find no argument from me there. That’s going to happen.

The fact, alone, of an increasing population—a quarter million people every two years—brings me to conclude there is information missing from the narrative of a genocide going on there.

The PA and Hamas take, take, take, and the Palestinian people suffer for it. In my opinion, this part of the discussion (missing from the narrative) is the most tragic: the situation exists because leaders from both sides (Israel and the Palestinian Territories) refuse to work out a solution, while the Palestinian people are used as pawns in a game of political domination by corrupt entities (PA & Hamas). The Palestinian people get the worst of it.

If Hamas is eradicated, it will be the best possible outcome for the Palestinian people.

The world sees whats afoot, and what precipitated it. Israel is running on goodwill fumes and the world is expressing they have had enough with this ongoing, seemingly endless conflict. That said, if Palestinian fighters have actually engaged in any sort of organized r*pe/civilian murder/assault against children... it invalidates the entire military offensive. It would also place the Palestinian population in even greater danger. Muslims are not allowed to break the laws of faith, regardless if its during a hard situation or not. The bastard had a criminal record and was reportedly angry for what he was seeing on TV. he first attempted to strangle the mother, a young American-Palestinian lady. Having failed to kill her he stabbed her a dozen times. She managed to escape in the bathroom to call 911 but when she came out she found out he had stabbed her child. The poor baby died at the hospital. The man was found in their house sitting beside them.
