The Lord God Almighty still has compassion for those 70K+ attendees...He is giving them a chance to exit...but some insist on staying to continue with the burning ritual...They will have to face the consequences of their action...
Not trying to be harsh here but that is unproven speculation, unless you are saying you personally heard from God and know your statement to be 100% true? The author insisted God sent the rain which canceled the festival and "halted the pagan sacrifices of burning idols", which is definitely not true. Why prop up an untruth?

Sometimes rain is just rain. I'm not saying God cannot or would not bring rain to accomplish His will, but in this case the author was incorrect and therefore he doesn't speak for God.

Yup. Rain happens. With about 70,000 cellphones there, shouldn't we be relying on photographic and video evidence rather than "people are saying" and "we're hearing reports of..." type of stuff? If any of the rumors were true, there would be video.

Even then, things should be questioned and corroborated because the "fiery tornadoes" pics were not even from this year.

I'm not defending the festival itself - someday they'll reap what they sow. But hasn't everyone figured out by now that social media whores and influencers will absolutely lie for a few more likes and a few more followers? Actual evidence reigns supreme.

You may want to look at it with "the eyes of faith..." If you can...and if you want to...

The things of God are spiritually discerned... Some may not be able to see because of spiritual blindness...

How do you know that the author is wrong? What "proof" are you looking for...? What for? Why question the faith that he has? If you disagree, why argue? If you think he is just speculating, so are you...

This "Burning Man" has been going on for 37 years now...Who knows exactly what goes on there in the nooks and crannies of the event...

Some people must have been praying for it to stop... and their prayers must have been answered this time...again, it's a matter of faith...

Hebrews 11

King James Version

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;

25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed
about seven days.

31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.

34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

38 (Of whom the world was not worthy) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect

This event has definitely occult ties.

Why the pentagram?

if you know about Hindu mythology, they make a effigy of a 10 face Ravan in an event named Dussehra and burn it.

Also the history of wickerman

How do you know that the author is wrong?
Because Grider's proclamations were incorrect. Grider presumptuously spoke for God in his statements. He acted as a prophet and therefore he should be tested against scripture.

What "proof" are you looking for...?
The proof I require is exactly what the Bible states:

Deut 18:20 But the prophet who shall speak a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak... that prophet shall die. 21 And you may say in your heart, `How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?' When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

Jer 23:32 “Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” declares the Lord. “They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them.”

Jer 23:25 “I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my name. They say, ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’ 26 How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy delusions of their own minds?

What for? Why question the faith that he has?
Are you kidding? God commands Christians to test the spirits. It's not a suggestion -

1 Jn 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Did the Bible berate the Bereans for daring to question and test Paul? No. Instead they were commended as noble -

Acts 17:10 As soon as it was night, the brothers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. 11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

You know who demands we accept their words without question, and are offended when we don't? False teachers and prophets, that's who.

If you disagree, why argue?
Pointing out falsehoods is the right thing to do, esp. when it comes to anyone claiming to speak for God.

If you think he is just speculating, so are you...
I didn't present any speculations as a truth directly from God. The author did, as did you, therefore the burden of proof is on both of you.

Some people must have been praying for it to stop... and their prayers must have been answered this time...again, it's a matter of faith...
I could be wrong but what I'm getting from your statement above is that you didn't personally hear from the Lord but jumped to several conclusions and presented them as truth, as if it was from the Lord [?].

Again, did God tell you He sent the rain to stop the festival but then was giving people a chance to exit? If not, how did you come to that specific conclusion and how can you proclaim it as being from God Himself?

Anyone can say "God proclaims..." or "God has brought this rain/hurricane/earthquake...". That doesn't make it true, hence all of the warnings about false prophets. All of these proclamations and assumptions must be compared to scripture and pass God's own strict guidelines.

It is never wrong to put anyone to the Biblical test. It is extremely wrong to tell us we must have faith in someone's 'prophecy' without testing the spirits for truth and accuracy.

Can't people who attend this event be compared with human locusts? They devour everything in their path and are like a swarm. One by themselves is not that dangerous but 75000 etc who knows what kind of spiritual disease they are spreading.

I personally don't want to dehumanize them. Much as I abhor pagan rituals and celebrations of evil, I still recognize all people as creations of God. They [those who reject God] are lost and in darkness, but who knows what God has planned for them. I pray for salvation.

I find this festival and others like them dehumanizing and in a way similar to the Nazi rallies like the Nuremberg rally. Hitler tried to get young people to be healthy and strong such as the Hitler Youth program etc. But the Zionist MSM would have us believe that Woodstock etc are some great accomplishment. I think the CIA was behind Woodstock. Also the drug cartels are raking in the money off these festivals. Perhaps God can summon up some rain for Coachella too. Never could stand all those people either.

lol... so now I'm supposed to watch a video and again take someone else's' word for it in lieu of an answer to this perfectly reasonable question:

Did God tell you He sent the rain to stop the festival but then was giving people a chance to exit? If not, how did you come to that specific conclusion and how can you proclaim it as being from God Himself?

I'm not trying to offend you, but if you can't answer honestly for what you yourself proclaimed, that's a problem.

No amount of videos can brush aside our responsibility to test the spirits and determine truth through scripture.

Too many videos not enough thinking and interpretation. Why do we need videos to tell us what we already know? Clickbait do not comply.

I see my Wicker man landlords daughter post has made some people hot under the collar, why is that exactly?
Just in case you're serious with this question

You said this
In this scene from 'The Wicker Man' (1973) Christopher Lee presents a young boy to the landlords daughter to instruct him in the art of sex; no doubt some stuffed shirts objected to the scene but personally I think he's a lucky little f*cker-

View attachment 90710
I never watched the original wicker man, so i don't know if the landlord's daughter is an adult or child.

If she's an adult, you're endorsing p3d0philia.

If she's also a child, it's still child abuse/s*xual assault.

Both cases would be fornication/s*xual immorality - she is not his wife (and no, im not saying child marriage is good, is anyone wants to take my words wrong and go that way with it).

The elites are the ones who promoted s*xual degeneracy/"free love" to the masses. Degeneracy goes much further than just sodomite or trans. It is hypocrisy to only focus on them.

THAT is why it got me "hot under the collar".

Alright, I'm gonna go on a small rant (here we go lol)
Sorry for derailing the thread, but this guy comes on here and posts something disrespectful and asks why a few of us downgraded it, pretty well.
Toxicfemininitysucks said it pretty well, and the guy's response was, well, not exactly good.
On this site, we focus so much on MK ultra and the p*do agenda and how bad these things are, cause in truth, they are absolutely terrible, and it's nice to feel we can relate to others on this topic when people won't usually listen. So, this guy posts something horrible about these two things, and expects us to be happy with it. Why? I think we see enough of this stuff everywhere else, we don't want it to pollute the one place we can vent about it freely.
I saw some of this other guy's posts, and he's claiming to be a Christian and believing in Jesus. I don't buy it. No Christian would be openly promoting such degeneracy.
And to say openly, as a woman, I don't appreciate people not thinking outside the box about sexualizing us so bluntly and being into the MK slave type women. It's disrespectful and against God. It's an absolute disgrace.
We want to feel safe from this nonsense. We don't want to hear about it. I don't care what this guy thinks of me or any of the others who disliked his post, it was disgusting through and through, and that's the truth.
Now back to burning man, sorry about that. Pointing out wicker man made sense, because it seems to relate to the event, but not with such a perverted twist.

Isn't that this person's goal - to get a rise out of people? If so, you can always ignore it.
