I dunno, I think he wants to be seen this way. He's always been a show-off, and he's always been super over the top about it in comparison to the rest of the group. JM behaves similarly, but he's not quite as intense as JK. Tae is slowly going down that road, but with him it's been pretty mild.

Compare that to the oldest members of the group, who have always been very modest. Jin doesn't seem to get recognized as modest as often as YG does, which is weird because I've seen Jin show skin only once in promo content over the course of their whole career. And it's funny because whenever the more modest members release music, people will be talking about it non-stop for months, and continue discussing it for years after that, whereas the members who show off more (JK and JM) get forgotten pretty darn fast. Hardly anyone talks about JM's solo album. Nobody is talking about JK's recent solo projects. I wonder how fast Seven will be forgotten.
Spot on. Perhaps these younger ones haven't realized that there's "more mystery" when they don't show much of their skin...lol...They obviously think that these "thirst traps" leave their audience more "obsessed" with them...yes, maybe with their bodies but not their music...so most just look but don't listen...haha!

The fight...that "revealed" other things...about their personalities...

It seemed that Tae was "projecting" through "some choreo" a deeper emotional issue...

I always liked Namjoon, the way he was always like a quiet strength but a significant deterrent to bad behaviour. Yet I believe he's the most satanic of all of them with his 'no -religion' religion and constant occult hand signs. So I can't like him. But I do. V was a big baby here and attacked Jin for basically nothing, then cried like he was the victim. ??? I always wondered what the real reason for that attack was. But there was RM to the rescue again to make sure he was ok to finish the concert. A real leader.

RM had to do his job. Otherwise, all the blame would have fallen on him if the concert was a fiasco because of the "feuding" members, Jin & Tae...

Tae's "frustration" over Jin's part of the choreo was more of a "projection" of his own longing for his attention... Tae has been in love with Jin since their rookie years...BUT there was Jk who was also "obsessed" with Jin...and Jin chose to be "closer" with Jk at that time...although, to the "violent objection" of the other ships, Taejin was actually, historically, BTS' "original ship..." lol.

Tae had actually "crossed the line" for his behavior towards Jin during their fight. But Jin simply showed an incredible amount of patience...even choosing to apologize first...

Fast forward to this day... Tae and Jin are closer than ever...or so it seems...even popping up on Tae's more recent weverse live despite his busy military duties... interestingly, so far...he hasn't done the same for Jk...lol

Seven...Why is H*be/BigHit apparently "obsessed" with this number? BTS has seven members...with an album called "7"...and now Jk's solo is titled "Seven..."

Note: Why did they choose to tattoo the number "7" on their respective bodies, instead of the name BTS or their logo...?

Seven is a significant number in the occult...which this documentary explores...

Oh I agree completely. People who don't need to show off are much more alluring than people who have everything on display.

Regarding the Tae vs. Jin situation, even though they worked it out, I really hated the way the band approached Tae about that whole thing. I suspect at that time they did not understand just how hyper-observant Tae is (he's shown this many times in their content over the years), and I truly believe he was just trying to help Jin out. The problem was, once Jin showed resistance to that, Tae should've backed off, but instead he pushed it. That's what started the whole conflict. On top of that, every other member wanting Tae to respect Jin simply because he's older was so ridiculous. Cultural motives aside, people should be respected for many reasons but simply being older isn't one of those reasons.

RM has always seemed to have a good rapport with Tae. He just seems to get how Tae's brain works, and knows how to talk to him. I don't like RM at all, but I gotta give him credit, he definitely knows how to deal with people who are neurodivergent.

In that situation too, YG was defending Jin 100% which was likely born from YG not liking Tae when they first met, and those two not being that close as bandmates. Jin could set a school bus full of children on fire and YG would probably find some way to justify it or defend him, simply because he always seems to worship the ground Jin walks on. (That leads me to a side note that I think Jin is the only member that YG actually likes).

And yes, Taejin was one of the original ships, along with Namseok (RM and JH).

Tae is also the only member who makes it really obvious that he doesn't spend time with his bandmates outside of their activities. Pretty much none of them actually spend time together outside of BT5 stuff, but they are super low-key about it. Tae is full-on "nope I do my own thing" and he doesn't give a rat's behind what anyone thinks. I'm not totally convinced that Jin and Tae are particularly close.

Interesting take...I like Tae's maverick streak, in particular...and Jin's "balanced-brain" approach to situations...he can be both left and right brain-oriented at the same time... RM's composure/presence of mind in crisis situations is commendable...These three have the most interesting personalities...

By the way, seniority is strictly observed in SK society and culture... particularly seniority by chronological age...which could supersede even seniority by management position...That's why Jin can even command RM to "shut his mouth..." lol

RM is definitely the most composed when things like that happen. Otherwise, there's a few times I've seen him on fancams look like he wants to beat the crap out of his bandmates for literally no reason. This is why I liked the fancams so much, because it caught their real demeanors, so we'd see RM being absolutely terrifying, or YG looking bored as hell, and the other band members being touchy-feely or looking like they are talking crap about whoever was performing. I really think the "no fancams" rules in the last few years have been because of how much was exposed.

I still believe that if they had made Jin the leader, the group would be behaving in a much more mature and composed fashion. Jin is a very well-rounded individual, he came into that group self sufficient, and he's got standards. The others just don't have the same level of composure and calm that Jin does.

Absolutely true. I also like fancams because they reveal the raw, unfiltered situations and reactions. What is authentic is more healthy...

Yes, Jin is the most well-adjusted member among them...who maintains a good deal of balance to keep the group going despite the many challenges...practically their "anchor..."

I believe Jin is the real leader behind the scenes...while RM has the label of "the leader," who "speaks" on behalf of the group, he actually consults with Jin who thinks/speaks with wisdom, practicality, and smart ideas...that's why RM said that he feels more confident and at ease when Jin is around...calling him the "secret weapon" of BTS...

Whatever they show you it is completely fake. I really believe that fight was show. Worst fights might be happened in that disunited group.
I saw this fight was overanalyzed by youtubers like gin behaviour as brother, v as kind nature to say sorry , jm worrying, blah blah everything was scripted so you can feel that way. Fights do happen but I am feeling this fight was show

While we are aware of the many fakes and fakeries in this industry, we must not recklessly label everything as "completely fake..." Because, precisely, we don't have the entire real data...But as thinking, observing people, we have the ability to infer or make plausible conclusions based on observable patterns of behavior in the course of time. You'd see in the thousands of unedited videos/video clips/fancams how Tae has behaved towards Jin, and how Jk was often seen as being clingy towards him...

We are entitled to our own interpretation of things...such that whether that "fight" was "scripted" or not, it's up to us how we want to see it. But some things are not subject for interpretation, because they are meant to be viewed as they are... Just like that fight which must be real...because there's more risk for the entire BTS business if it's not...

That fight might not be fake as members may get on each other nerves as they are spending a significant time with each other but the ships and analysis some people do is too much.
