His company has repeatedly been called the most money hungry company among big 3 by tea accounts and he himself was on Interpol's most wanted list for money laundering so this can't be a gesture to make his idols realize that money and fame aren't everything. Probably this is some kind of mason ritual.
I don't doubt it about being money hungry, by which measures do they say that? I'm curious

Isn't it better for him to fulfill his national duty like you say than be emasculated and groomed? The real pandemic is how effeminate men are becoming , suffering from low testosterone and the low fertility affecting men and women etc. They grow and sell us poisonous foods and advertise their jabs because it's all about the money and to make us weak and sick. The modern lifestyle is sickening and not conducive to a healthy people or society.

I'm still upset at what they did to Garam, even if she's free of the industry, they still bully her and Koreans seem to hate her. They ruined that girl's life and she was innocent. I know I just sent many replies in the thread I don't mean to spam but I'm thinking out loud
You are right with T@emin in particular the industry had been emasculating, feminizing, and objectifying him since he was a minor. He had a real complex about the media not considering him "masculine enough" and constantly "misgendering" him for jokes so the military service might be his one chance in life to prove to the Koreans that he is a "real man" now. His fans and all the anti-military BG stans portraying him as some victim of forced conscription laws is not going to do any good for his image because Koreans take their military service very seriously. As weird and toxic as it sounds this is the reality. Most Koreans look down on male idols who wear tons of makeup and have a pretty boy image. Most very effeminate men in the entertainment industry get abused and objectified by other sick men or powerful older women and most of them develop severe mental health issues like social anxiety, depression, panic disorders due to the industry abuse. Even if we ignore the part about industry abuse, I think it's pretty crazy for fans to make military countdowns and then religiously follow them like their life depends on it. Do Kpop stans not understand how crazy they make themselves look by doing these things??

I also agree about Garam if she had a shady history Hyb3 shouldn't have allowed her to debut in LSF. She is 16 that's young and people change as they get older and become more mature but now she her image is tarnished forever. Because of her scandal she could have a hard time trying to find jobs outside of the industry or furthering her education as well. Hyb3 destroyed the life of a young girl and no one thinks anything is wrong with that.

They treat their artists like slaves. 5m idols have the worst schedules you have multiple instances of idols getting sick because of overwork. They also have the most skewed profit distribution ratios between artist and company. Only 10% of revenue from album sales goes to the artists and the rest goes to company. The 10% is further divided into the group members so for big groups like Ex0 and N*T individual members receive less than 1% which is extremely unfair. They are also the only company among big 3 whose idols committed suicide because of mental health issues.

They were never close as family and they have really never had a strong bond as people thought. The members themselves have said many times that they are not as close as people think they are. They only had a business relationship and even Jonghyun had said that they have a business relationship. They are close it exists only in the imagination of the fans but not in reality.

Besides, working with someone does not mean you are friends. If they indeed were a family and really cared about Jonghyun, they wouldn't have renew their contract or use Jonghyun to their own benefits.

I believe that the members were deliberately prevented from going to the hotel and hospital that day. And the members knew what was going to happen with Jonghyun, so the reaction was normal and they didn't look surprised and acted like they were prepared for it.
Yes they should have disbanded after Jonghyun death ..

That's really greedy. You're right about the mental health, something very wicked must happen over at SM because it's very shady and I don't think they take their health any more seriously now.

They got guts. They are filing a case on ceo for sexual physical assault. They have evidence. Now what sk govt will do we will see. Wow they revealed what goes in industry
Wow, I am so glad to hear this that they are registering a case against her. Because what she did to him was damn wrong, so she needs to be taught a lesson. I wish their victory from the bottom of my heart. GOD Bless Them.

The thing they not big if they are big group it would in all news channel right now. I was shocked to read that they even told they were molested in drinking parties and in meetings. And she threatened to kill them is really shocking to me. Like the truma they went we cannot imagine. I think it is one of reason why idols look depressed. And now they are introducing minors to this evil industry

i don't know all the details about the serafim group but i remember hearing something like she trained under hyb3 the shortest out of all the members. so if that's true i don't think she would have had shady history with hyb3.

HOWEVER if hyb3 knew about her shady past all along yet they still decided to debut her couldn't her family sue for all the trauma they put their daughter through and tarnishing her name? one of her friends a while back even said that the whole issue was just one of hyb3's marketing tactics to bring more attention to the group which i think was the case too. i think it was some kind of publicity stunt to grab people's attention towards the group. they literally had those girls do the wap dance in the music video knowing damn well they had minors in that group and would have gotten shit for it. so i'm pretty sure they knew about her bullying allegations since a long time too.

I hope they receive justice and that woman is put behind bars. I read about their case and that disgusting woman even tried to twist the narrative to make them look like the villains. I hope someone exposes MHJ one day too.

I believe Hyb3 used her for media play. She may have been a bully for real but if that was the case Hyb3 shouldn't have debuted her in the first place. Now, her life is ruined forever because of them. Hyb3 is a powerful company the family could be being blackmailed behind the scenes.

The members themselves are exploiting Jonghyun. There is always this story that SHINee members were close. Far from it. If they were as close as people claim, Jonghyun would be here today. The first person to show up at the hospital was a super junior member and he was scolded by Shawols when he asked where the members were. It was crazy. Things aren't what they appear. We know key was recording a show with BOA and he surprisingly drove out of town that day. Why? I watched that episode. He then stopped recording. And where were the other members? Taemin lived 15 minutes from the incident. They didn't seem surprised. They act like they were prepared for it. From Now On is confirmation. It's just weird. Those members aren't hurting one bit.
I don't want to talk about this. It hurts my "stomach thinking about it.
I think they gave up on him. Depression can wear out your helpers who don't understand why you're sad. It's more than feeling sad, and is hard to explain to others who haven't experienced it. The remaining members of suj.u are closer than SHINe3 will ever be. Debut btees were brotherly compared to this. Once Tae was upset because he fell on the fed carpet, so Jk cheered him up. That's closer than them.

Does LSM make idols compete with each other? The coldness could be from a competitive environment from when they were trainees. I believe he was closer to Taem1n, but not close with anyone else. Taem1n wears some of his accessories now. If shawols feel some way about the member of suj.u saying something, a hit dog hollers. Everyone gave up on him when he needed them most.

Taem1n and On3w have changed a lot for the worse, but I don't know about the others. They need a break to get their heads around his death. We don't know if it was framed as a weakness. East Asian cultures have superstitions about suicide and death.
