What is spirituality?

Judaism,christianity and islam are desert religions and were aimed at desert people. Ofcourse the ones who came up with the rules and laws of those religions neglected nature because there aint any nature in the desert. Preaching about being one with sand and camels lacks glamour so other means were necessary to make people join their reality. Promises of unbelievable wealth in the afterlife were promised for those who joined and obeyd and threats of eternal suffering in a torture lake for those who didnt seemed like an easy way to convert materialistic simpletons to their religions.
Nobody likes discomfort and everybody wants to be rich and feel good .And to get all those riches all i need to do is praise one guy and follow his rules and after that i get to serve him more after death in some divine feudalism ? I dont want to participate in any idol worship and thats what christianity and their version of reality seems to have become. Heaven supposed to be full of villas made of gold and jewels.Are there shops and supermarkets in the heaven also or what am i supposed to do with all that gold and jewels? Just look at them for eternity ? I would rather reincarnate and glaze at flowers and birds and bugs and other peculiarities of nature and have some new experiences. Even if they are horrible experiences i would prefer them to an eternity of staring at shiny swag in an blissful state.

From some shamanic perspective jesus is one of those "soul collectors" that grows more bigger and more powerful with every soul that pledges itself to it. All gain is for the soul collector and none for the soul who gives itself willingly away to another soul. You are promised heaven but are you sure you are gonna get it ? What if you have been deceived by some higher spirit ?
I aint giving my soul or free will to no one and i will be only governed by my own consciousness.
But sheeple need a shepherd/religion to guide them in the right direction because their consciousness is in an rather poor state.

Those desert religions have probably spilled more blood on this earth than anybody else. Boy how they hate people who live in harmony with nature.They eradicated or forcefully converted pretty much all of them in every continent.
Desert religions preach love and compassion yet they seem to have none of it for others .Atleast looking back at history i havent seen any.It seems they are only interested in conquering more soul-cattle for their top spirit or demon of their religions food chain.
Lets hope your shepherd in the afterlife will be who it claims to be.I will do my best to avoid becoming a sheeple in this life or in anything else that follows it.

Everything you said makes perfect sense. But, that's a lot to digest at one time. You need "ears to hear" what you're saying. A more subtle approach may be useful. Widening a narrow viewpoint is an organic process. Kinda like a courtship. Just my 2 cents.

I think religion has become this stigmatized, because the society has become incredibly carnal and self indulgent. Theres no restraint or sense of shame anymore for lewdness. You have 12 year old girls sneaking in boys and booze into their rooms nowadays listening to music that gratifies every sinful desire imaginable. This has become normal and acceptable and its these type of people who are beginning to make up the citizenry and rail against others who would warn against such behavior saying they are religious. Imagine a society where your 13 year old grandaughter visits you saying she just received her third abortion this month as she pulls out a cigarette and smokes it right in front of you. Imagine that grandmother advising against such a lifestyle and the grandaughter telling her grandmother she is starting to sound religious and to stop preaching to her.

I was with a brother in Christ who confessed to watching porn since he was 7 years old the other day. The older we get the more anyone with any sort of decency will begin to be deemed religious by very depraved and self indulgent people. If you don't want to spend your friday at a brothel you will be shunned as religious or having religious convictions. This is why being deemed religious doesnt really bother me or why I dont think it's a bad thing anymore. The real problem is that people are becoming exceedingly carnal.

I dunno, I see the world full of wonderful people. I think they are the real majority. You won't see them on the news. Their heroics often go unnoticed. With them, life is tolerable. Without them, life would be meaningless.

Materialistic mind can only see things from materialistic perspective i guess.If u give me a choice between those 2 rooms i will probably instead ignore your offer and choose to go outside instead and enjoy some nature .I dont need anything to do that.I dont drink alcohol,i dont do yoga and dont really care about your other offerings.

God is the ultimate judge of intent, deed, and character though. Everyone has a record of wrongdoing and sin that awaits sentencing. Every time you broke Gods law it is recorded. He has the final say and authority.

Porn is an addiction and suffering from it does not block one’s being a member of any religion.

I think porn can be and even most often is an addiction. One who struggles with such is still very much a child of God if they have truly given their life to Christ, but God also chastens his people and gives them power to overcome and freedom in the holy spirit. It wasnt that long ago where I struggled with porn, but God delivered me and broke those chains. We must seek The Lord for deliverance, because he will always sanctify and rebuke his people for sexual sin. His word does say he will judge the sexually immoral and that no fornicator will inherit the kingdom of God, but I believe The Lord always saves his people from such sins so he doesnt have to judge them so they stand eternally condemned.
