I was raised in traditionally folk Buddhist family. I was taught the only thing that matters was reaching enlightenment. In my family we prayed to my deceased Grandma who would carry our prayers to Buddha. We couldn't pray to Buddha on our own, only with a spiritual representative, and you had to give them an offering (sacrifice) for their ability for act physically in the world. Anyway, when I went to high school, the students were majority Christian. They taught me how the Buddhist things were wrong and Jesus was the only way esp with a baptism. I liked how Jesus actually loved every one and there was a happy heaven and a loving God. The Buddhist version of "heaven" - extinguishment - is you without wants, needs, loves, desires. Your family does not matter. You will not be you but only an observer that does not participate. This lasts until the universe ends, it is reborn, and the cycle starts again. Stories about the Buddha did not seem so wholesome anymore. For ex:

1. Buddha abandoned his royal lavish lifestyle on the night his son was born. His crying wife came with the baby to him and begged him to come home. He ignored her and she left crying.
2. Budda's stance was that eating meat is evil. Later on, he eats pork with a high profile person. He is questioned about it and he says since he's the Buddha he can do whatever he wants.
3. After enlightenment mara (satan) convinced him the only thing to do is to die. He agreed with him, until another god came down and convinced him to teach.

Those things bothered me I turned towards studying the bible. I feel closer to God. After I read the whole bible I realized God would not turn his back on the Jews. The purpose of the bible is to explain the Jewish connection with God.

After learning, I am curious how Christianity and Islam can fit themselves in that lineage.

The Torah prophesies a messiah not a man whose just a prophet which leaves two groups at hand throwing Islam out of the window.

Judasim and Christianity.

Now the timeline, the messiah in Christianity is claimed to have come and has prophesied many things of which have and will occur, another thing is that he actually did rise from the dead. Alot of the things Jesus Christ did was had many parallels to the Torah and he correspinded with everything and the people who were around him testified that he was most certainly God.

Now the end is happening and as you can see the devil worshippers hate Jesus while Judasim is kinda involved with them as well.

So that throws Judasim out of the window and leaves Christianity. Now obviously because Christianity is the true religion, welcome to the web of finding out which church is accurate rather then being "chrisblahblahmyowndoctrine" till you hit the realization that "hey, I just need to read the Bible and if the church doesnt correspond with it, Ill move on to the next :)"

Have fun, its a beautiful journey indeed.

Ftr....in zechariah 13...which was fulfilled in 70AD, 2/3 of jews were either killed or left the holy land. They are forever out of the fold. Jew in name only..and hence the synagogue of satan.
An example being that a large chunck went and mixed with Gomer, from the ezekiel 38 prophecy (who are gog and magog). That is the ashkenazi jew.

The 1/3 remained in the holy land and adopted christianity and islam. They merged into a palestinian identity. They are the remnant who are chosen by God. They are hidden because they dont identify as jewish.

In the Quran, Allah says that He caused a party of the jews to beleive in Jesus and made that party victorious over the disbelievers (of jewish stock). Literally the true jews believed in Jesus and died in that state.

The mourning for the one they peirced zech 12...was fulfilled already.

He hasn't turned his back on the Jews. They have rejected him, but there are messianic Jews now which believe in him.

There are national priveleges to living in Israel as a Jew because Israel is Gods holy land. Alot of people here will tell you different but that doesn't mean God is pleased with Israel or the Jews. It just means God hasn't broke promises he made with them as he's not a liar. However until they come to Christ they like others are doomed.

Israel is still under Gods protection, as a country and prophecy tells us the world is going to go after it as we are seeing. In which time Jews are going to come to Christ.

You are completely right you cannot do away with Jesus Jewishness nor anything else in the Torah in the sense of, understanding God and what he values. Our faith has Jewish roots that's for sure, our God was a Jew does that make Jews better no but it is an acknowledgement of Gods chosen vessel. And actually this is the time of the gentiles. So God in one sense favours gentiles that have readily accepted him over unsaved Jews. So it's abit complex but ultimately Gods promises are eternal just as the Jews were used for God's son and purpose so will the Land of Israel again.

The relationship of Christians and Jews in one verse…

John 10:16
King James Version

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Romans 11 discusses God’s heart on the subject…

I’ve been to Israel on more than one occasion and it doesn’t feel like the holy land. It’s overcrowded and dirty and full of superficial people living hedonistic lifestyles.

Theres a book, "10 things i wish i knew before moving to Israel" that's worth a read. But many here chose to plug their fingers into their ears in defense of the anti-christ.

Theres an old saying, evil is as evil does. While the atrocites out of Israel the past 40, 50 years can fill libraries.

Do you think that the Jews of modern day Israel are better or worse behaved than those described in the Books of Kings and Chronicles?

You know how i feel about modern day Israel. When they broadcast porn into Palestinian homes and spray them with raw sewage, amongst all of the other atrocities they routinely commit, you keep telling yourself these people are actually "gods chosen", when this is the home of the anti Christ.

Honestly, i am disgusted every time i see someone defend these sick, sadistic people. But you keep listening to Hague and crew, clearly Is-Ra-Hell can do no wrong.

I definitely understand your position with regard to modern Israel, but I am still wondering if you believe they are better or worse now than they were in OT times?

Seeing they have no connection to God... surely you know Israel is 70% atheist? Idk why you even bother to make the comparison.

These are the people of the hell fire. They torment actual God fearing people night and day.

OK - I won’t press you further on the question…

Acts 7

Israel Rebels Against God

37“This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.’

38“This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, the one who received the living oracles to give to us, 39whom our fathers would not obey, but rejected. And in their hearts they turned back to Egypt, 40saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods to go before us; as for this Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’41And they made a calf in those days, offered sacrifices to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. 42Then God turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the Prophets:

‘Did you offer Me slaughtered animals and sacrifices during forty years in the wilderness,
O house of Israel?
43You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch,
And the star of your god Remphan,
Images which you made to worship;
And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.’

O Children of Israel! Remember those blessings of Mine with which I graced you, and how I favored you above all other people” (Quran 2:47).

This favor, or election, means that the Jews, as believers in a single God, were the bearers of the divine message and were obliged to transmit it to humankind: by teaching, by example, and by service.

Idk why you quote the bible red. When you ignore certain verses like God calling Jesus his slave in acts 3 13(?).. Then go on to quote others.. I mean is very much a cherry picking kind of religion isn't it?

32 verses forbid the consumption of pork. When's the last time you had a ham sandwich? Odds are high you ate pork for breakfast.

I can go on but i think the point is made.

Don't tell us how "sacred" Israel is. We got 2 eyes and we can use them.

Hahahaha national priveleges isn't from the state it's the land, it's the protection of the nation itself the land and by proxy the inhabitants. The leaders themselves is a different kettle of fish. Use your brain.

Facts don't care about your feelings.

Whatever an inhabited land is in moments of time. What is holy ground, maybe where Jesus's feet touched down and where he did alot of his ministry.

How would a non Christian understand this ?

Well I'm using my brain right now to try and think of one way I have ever benefited from isreal and I can think of absolutely none. They take whatever they can get from US and in return give US less than nothing. Signed: yours truly Disgruntled Goyim.
