It becomes an inclusive & one world religion
Its becoming that for sure and its all led by the pope. What they are doing with the ecumenical movement is bringing all religions together by concentrating on what they have in common and not the differences. They say that all people serve the same God, and should tolerate different viewpoints because that is an essential ingredient for peace.

They play down doctrinal differences between Christian denominations and only discuss common points. While its true that Christians believe in Jesus Christ as their Messiah and God, they don't all believe and live by the Word of God as Jesus did and taught us too.

They also ignore the differences between Christianity and non Christian religions like Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism etc too.

They will succeed mostly just before Jesus returns, but there will always be Christians who will refuse to compromise on the Word of God and they will be persecuted.

What is the "lucky" part?

The pope is playing the role of villain in this movie -life.
We all live lives of pretension. Deep down we know the Oneness we share is beyond good & evil.

Pope Francis on Saturday met with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in a private audience at the Vatican, amid ongoing criticism of Pelosi by conservative Catholics in the United States over her support for abortion rights.
Pelosi, who is Catholic, described the meeting as “a spiritual, personal and official honor” and praised the pope for his attention to climate change and for his work lifting up the underprivileged.
“His Holiness’s leadership is a source of joy and hope for Catholics and for all people, challenging each of us to be good stewards of God’s creation, to act on climate, to embrace the refugee, the immigrant and the poor, and to recognize the dignity and divinity in everyone,”

Remember he's just a man...y'know, like that Jesus fella.

You have a disgustingly low opinion of someone who gave his life for you. How ungrateful you are.

Regarding Catholics and the above with abortion stuff.
It is quite common knowledge that if someone claims to be Catholic but simultaneously supports abortion rights (just as with contraception and fornication) then that person is not a Catholic. In Catholic terms it is a contradiction to support those things and claim to be Catholic. (that said I am not Catholic lol)

I'd say that the ideal is there too for Protestants but Protestants are far too varied (between respectable extreme conservatives who repudiate such things to the degenerate liberal/progressive types who have LGBT churches).

Why call yourself anything? First and foremost, you're a human being, in spite of being a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Conservative, whatever. Become your unique self before joining a group. Then, you can always leave under your own volition. Very few here can do that.

So you're saying that women who oppose abortion are not human?

From the most narrowest of viewpoints, I still can't see how you could possibly come up with that conclusion. I'm just saying get your noses out of those ancient tomes of a Bronze Age God and be a human. Unfortunately, our culture lacks a true rite of passage.

At least you don't hide that you are a Liberal who believes in the Progressivist fallacy. Your head is not stuck in reality, it is stuck in a colonialist construct. You are stuck in outdated, irrelevant 17th century European ideologies.

That is not what is in your heart evidently.

Also people who believe and obey the One God Lord of all the Heavens and Earth, are not less human than you, they are just wiser than you.

Less human? 'Course not. More ignorant, for sure. Oh, I know my heart better than some might think; certainly you. :)
