What I really want to know is this:
How many of you believe that the 2020 US Election will result in a Civil War sometime in November? I was about to bet the farm on it, but now I'm not so sure...
I actually made a thread about that yesterday..

I disagree again as the Fed cannot supersede local even when it is right.
Newsflash: The job of the President and the Executive Branch is to Execute Law, that is, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. Nothing supersedes it, by very definition of doing so, it is a crime. Regardless of whether you agree or not.

Sanders was cheated because the elites don't want left wing populism on the ballot. It goes above the Democrats really.

They want the choice to be between Neoliberalism and Right wing faux populism AKA FASCISM.

They are manipulating this entire thing from both ends.

Funny they absolutely do not want left wing populism but want the people to embrace the phony right wing populism.

Why would that be?

Now they are trying to use clowns like Tulsi Gabbard, Jimmy Dore, and Krystal Ball of the Hills Rising to get stupid left wing populists who can't see how they are being played to join the side of the fascists.
Talking abour BS, Trump isn’t even right-wing. He probably falls straight down the middle on the traditional spectrum if you add everything up. The left, YOUR left, has just gone so far to the everything-that’s-not-socialism-is-fascism extreme that someone like Gabbard or Dore could be considered right-wing agents. You embody the insanity on the left that is seeing a mass exodus of people formerly known as liberals. Thinking Sanders would represent actual populism, good god, you must be out of your damn mind. Everything he stands for will be proposed to you and everyone else by the globalist, closet-communist banking establishment that you think controls Trump to expatriate national wealth right into their pockets, whether it’s with a green new deal or universal income.

What’s happening now in the US is nothing but extraordinary, the last place anyone would have expected this to happen, and the entire system is freaking out, the latest orchestrated media blackout on Bidengate being its most blatant example. I hope you’ll find happiness all the way over there, on the wrong side of history.

Trump is the first president in a long time not to take the country to some sort of war, and he’s pulling troops out of the Middle East.
What exactly do you mean by "take the country to war" because the US military is actively bombing and occupying many countries under Trump, and he has increased troop levels in most places since Obama as well as increased drone strikes, bombings, and relaxed rules of engagement, which kills more civilians. It was reported that Trump had killed more civilians with US strikes in his first year, than 8 years of Obama, so what exactly are you talking about ?

I mean invading countries, as every US president for the past 40 years has done. Any military action the US is involved with under Trump is a pre-existing condition.
A pre existing condition that he agrees with and has made WORSE.

You do know that sanctions are also acts of war, as is assassinating a nations top general.

Or what about coups carried out in Bolivia and attempted coups in Venezuela. He gets a pass for that too ? Trump is no different than any other president.

Denial is a funny thing.

I don’t think anyone is denying anything. Trump has walked into the pit. You think he’s going to go in and wave a magic wand? Some of his generals are flat out ignoring him. I thought he was commander in chief?

Learn nuance, make distinctions when distinctions are due, and stop your moral superiority crap. I’m taking a wait and see approach. I’m preparing to be disappointed. I’m sure you’ll vote Biden cause you are suffering from trump derangement. I can’t speak for everyone but I’m leaving myself open and will remain 25% optimistic while you run around accusing everyone of fascism - just understand that it gets very old after a while.

What gets old after a while is all the people doing mental gymnastics and making excuses for Trump. Taking the things he says that YOU WANT to believe at face value, while ignoring the negative things he says. Buying into this childish narrative 4 years into this madness, that somehow its not Trumps fault, its the "deep state" Its like you just WANT to be conned.

You haven't figured out this whole thing is a psy op based on reverse psychology.

You do know words and actions can be 2 totally different things right?

Thats like politics 101.

He's just the gift that keeps on giving isn't he?

The most telling part of this interview which clearly demonstrates what is most important to this clown is the bit when he said "I'm not somebody that wants to go into a war, wars are bad for economies"....he then hastily remembers to add "wars kill people....more importantly"

I'm sure he could have got more dumbasses to vote for him if he would have put them in the correct order of importance.

At this point I find myself questioning the mental health of anybody who believes a single word this man says.

He plays both sides sometimes. While under constant attack he says some stupid stuff while little Barry and old man Joe are diapered and powdered and awarded medals. We like Trump cause he’s unstable enough to screw up the plans of the Luciferian state or at least mess up the timetable. He does try to play to his base and the deep state obviously hates him. Again, I lack the trump derangement of the utopians. I wanna see it play out. We know what Joes gonna do and we know this ain’t gonna fix itself.

What do we have to lose at this point?

He’s an old school, America-first type guy. I’m NOT saying he isn’t above all Trump-first, but this is who he is.... a bit of a screwball. That’s how screwed up our system is..... But he really hasn’t changed much. He’s always been about himself. And maybe that’s ok, compared to the evil that’s served Washington DC for the last 40 years or so.

I’m glad he’s willing to retweet ‘conspiracies’-which-are-not, like when Team Seal 6 got set up and sacrificed. Don’t you? Put it out there in the mainstream - do it! If he’s going out for drinks with Brennan and Soros and Biden/Obama then consider me fooled.... oh well. My expectations are pretty low anyway.

“Trump was so focused on the Durham report that he would turn up the television volume when segments would air about it, people around him said. Trump has told allies that he once believed Barr would deliver “scalps” in the form of Durham’s findings, according to an adviser who recently spoke to Trump about it. “But they aren’t doing s---,” the president said, according to this person. https://www.washingtonpost.com/

So your beef ain’t with me, or at least it shouldNt be. He’s not my savior. My eyes are open. Russia-Russia-Russia! So there,

..... and dude I’m the same guy who wrote the portion below a little while ago, so I’m obviously compromising many of my own principles. But the political establishment powers-that-be (the whole Democratic Party and a complicit GOP establishment) is batshit crazy. Trump has made a few good-faith efforts which I won’t get into that are a positive sign.... I’m willing to give him another 4 years and see what happens. The other side is so off the charts objectionable and maybe that’s by design, but I like how the Rinos in my own party have been publicly exposed, like Romney, McCain, Sasse, McConnell, Gowdy, etc... (and all the others Trump drove into retirement). Maybe Trump really thinks the system is legit and if he’s going to drive them nuts I’m willing to wait out another 4 years....

Im sure many prefer Trumps beliefs and ideology over my own. ....

A Referendum on MAGA

I hate to be a Donnie Downer but I also dread the duping of my fellow citizens. So while President Trump has done some good things, especially in the short term, I think we need to maintain a critical focus on the big picture.

We can start by considering whether the Trump Administration has truly taken legitimate steps to fulfill its stated mission to make America great again. In many tangible ways it appears we’ve merely been sold more of the same business as usual.

It’s obvious that the “Barr” has been set pretty low. Maybe the rediscovery of an aggressive tea party mindset is required to reform what appears to be a broken, manipulated system. Unequal application of the law notwithstanding, here’s just a few reasons to conclude the Trump administration is on the wrong side of winning.
  1. A Thriving Swamp - Outside the departure of a few RINOs, the swamp remains very deep. President Trump continues to usher various creatures in and out of his cabinet, possibly at the behest of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell who from day one of the presidency reportedly insisted that he didn’t “wanna hear any more of this ‘Drain the Swamp’ talk,” essentially telling the president “you gotta back off that.”
  2. Agenda 2030 Unscathed - Despite some short term economic gains, our national sovereignty recently received a significant blow with the passing of the USMCA - a troubling trade treaty that solidifies and seals our subjugation to international law. https://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/north-america/item/33596-what-s-really-in-the-usmca
  3. Dire Debt - Despite a strong economy, we continue to borrow and spend at a ridiculous rate. Trump is comfortable with a print as you spend approach, but such short sighted deficit spending will do nothing but ensure that America will fail to be great again for generations to come.
  4. Perverted Justice - Two-tier justice continues to thrive like never before under men like William Barr and Christopher Wray. How can you drain anything when you keep recycling and enabling the skaters and perverters of justice? Law and order cannot stand in a nation run by pilferers and thrives, nor those who cover for them. AG Barr, in particular, is a bad deep state actor. Guys like him are why guys like Andrew McCabe are not held accountable for their seditious activity. https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/02/14/two-tiered-justice-doj-informs-andrew-mccabe-he-will-not-be-prosecuted-for-lying-to-fbi-investigators-3-times-under-oath/
  5. Military Industrial Complexities - Expanding NATO, empowering reckless allies (e.g. the Saudis), and appointing the most hawkish of war hawks is not the way to change the course away from illegal and unjust regime change wars and occupations. So far the president is not doing enough to change the interventionist mindset and in the process the executive branch continues to defy the interests and the will of the people he’s been elected to represent. http://www.ronpaullibertyreport.com/archives/democrats-ignore-trumps-real-abuse-of-power-overseas-aggression

Honorable Mentions:

The Attack on Assange - Julian Assange has been a revelation of truth and arguably secured the way for a Trump presidency. The man holds the answers to the Russia hoax, Seth Rich and the crimes that compromise a fair, just and free America. Why is he rotting in prison and what is our president doing to get him out?

https://www.wsj.com/articles/gop-congressman-sought-trump-deal-on-wikileaks-russia-1505509918

Bump Stock Ban Sham - There remains a wall of secrecy and confusion surrounding the 2017 Las Vegas shooting.

https://dailycaller.com/2018/02/13/questions-over-las-vegas-shooting/

In fact, there was only one conveniently, and seemingly agenda-driven, certainty to come out of the whole affair and that was that bump stocks were the root cause. It was a forced, disjointed narrative that Trump was swift to embrace and sign off on via executive order.

https://reason.com/2019/03/28/donald-trumps-bump-stock-ban-turns-peace/

Playtime with the Mainstream Media - The media is merely a gateway to an alternative reality. The more Trump and the GOP continue to feed that monster the further distracted they render themselves. The legacy media will spin their narratives regardless. Lawsuits and boycotts are the only way to transcend their propaganda. Symbolic victories and red meat rallies are nothing but a waste of precious governing time and are no replacement for true transparency and accountability. We need to follow the lead of Rep Devin Nunes and his no nonsense approach.

https://nypost.com/2019/12/04/devin-nunes-sues-cnn-for-435-million-over-hit-piece/

The networks who proceed to play pretend to forward predetermined narratives have solidified their status. At the end of the day, they are nothing less than an illegitimate source of fake news. It is either by default or design that many of our representatives will continue to play along.

Unaffordable Healthcare - Health insurance premiums and out of pocket costs continue to rise. The president needs to have a repeal and replace plan ready to go. If he lacks the support to pull it off he needs to name names or be prepared to shoulder the blame.

https://www.lp.org/issues/healthcare/

LGBT Supremacy? - Trump has spoken positively about same-sex marriage and has even been dubbed the “most pro-gay president in history,” a characterization completely at odds with his own presidential platform. President Trump has appointed LGBT activists to prominent positions of power, including Mary Rowland (Illinois Northern District Court), Patrick Bumatay (Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals), and Richard Grenell (Ambassador to Germany). Gernell, in particular, has been very active in Trump’s global campaign to decriminalize homosexuality. There is a natural tension that exists between LGBT ideology and religious liberty and the president appears to be the lightning rod enduring the political currents that shake our foundation. It is a role that he seems to relish, but to what end?

Are we truly paying attention?

Without taking anything away from the time you have obviously invested in scrutinizing the American political system I just feel if you look at it extremely closely, as you do, the thing becomes a bit blurred.

Lies get forgiven, important character flaws are ignored and the safety of the world stays in the wrong hands.

I look at politics from afar, so I don't have to listen to their noise.

It's my true withheld belief that politicians are simply professionals liars who will represent whoever gives them the biggest back handers. Moral corruption is rife within all political ranks.

yeah, I more or less think that too.

i think they are actors on a stage.
someone else writes the scripts and pulls the strings.
all elections are decided beforehand.

The constant back and forth becomes rather tedious after the first few years. I find if you continue engaging in it in a mental capacity it will eventually render you to a life similar to a caged polar bear...you will see them at a zoo, just pacing, up and down, up and down.

I broke out the zoo many many years ago.
