I see. Do you believe that all religions worship the same God?
Religions that believe in one God alone, and do not believe in associate Gods, lesser Gods, or family of God, are like Islam because they are monotheistic: they only believe in one all-powerful God that created all things. God is known as 'Allah' in the Arabic language, and Christians and Jews who also have Arabic as their mother tongue similarly call God 'Allah'.
Muslims believe in many of the Biblical prophets, i.e. Adam, Noah, Solomon, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Jesus, and believe that they all brought the same message to their respective peoples: to worship one God alone, and to abandon the worship of all lesser, created things, like the sun, the moon, the stars, their ancestors, rocks. In Islam, Abraham is known to be 'the friend of God', because of the purity and steadfastness of his faith, even as a child when the rest of the people of his city worshipped idols:
Who is better in religion than he who surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good (to men) and followeth the tradition of Abraham, the upright? Allah (Himself) chose Abraham for friend.
