Many recovered coronavirus patients who did not need to be hospitalized are still facing serious health problems months later, according to a study commissioned by the Longfonds. While 94 percent say they do not feel as healthy as they did before the viral infection, some 60 percent of this...nltimes.nlCoronavirus survival comes with a $1.1 million, 181-page price tag
The COVID-19 patient, from West Seattle, has insurance and so isn't on the hook for the vast majority of the charge. But the gold-plated cost highlights one reason why American health care is so hard to reform.www.seattletimes.com

No chest tightness or stomach problems.
I’ve been thinking about this in comparison to the history of polio. We don’t have a vaccine for polio to prevent death by polio entirely. We have a vaccine primarily to prevent paralysis by polio.
This thing seems to feast on diabetics. That's the one comorbidity I would not want to have in regard to corona. Another thing that bugs me is how it's said that the victim had this or that comorbidity. So what? They could have lived for years with that alone, but not with that and corona. Which in the end does make corona their cause of death. But if it is indeed primarily a blood vessel disease, that would make a lot of sense with the diabetics and high blood pressure cases being at more risk, as well as with the clotting problems and strokes.I’ve been thinking about this in comparison to the history of polio. Wikipedia says that polio paralyzed or killed 500,000 per year for about 10 years. This really seems like it is leaning in the direction of being comparable with the history of polio rather than flu.
A study was done that says around 1 in 5 are at risk of severe infection due to a preexisting condition like diabetes or something else that has been linked to contributing to a more severe condition. This is not to be confused with 1 in 5 people are at risk of death, but statistics show that there are a lot of people with pre existing conditions that are linked to the coronavirus.
the chronic outcomes in severe cases seem comparable to the outcome of paralysis in the case of polio.
the good news is that this also helps in the objective of isolating more at risk groups. It is not such a random picture anymore.

the media IS the virus.
Guess this thing wasn’t seasonal. It’s not over folks.
the numbers are whatever MSM wants them to be.4000 positive tests in Florida in one day. Pro baseball players testing positive in Florida. 23 Clemson football players testing positive, including the possible best player in the country. It's not looking so good for the return of sportsball this year...
