No one has? They're the United States Sentencing Commission and so they wouldn't make a claim like that without having the proof, which they clearly do since they have all the sentencing records at their disposal. I believe their next section after their intro talks about the different variables so check there and if not check the appendices under methodology. If you still can't find it contact the commissioners. All their names are on the first page. Maybe you can be the first one to catch them slipping since no else has in regards to this study
Yes, they said the data in regards to criminal history was only available for the year 2016 but the study only lasted until the end of 2016.
The murder rate of Russia and a few other european countries is higher than the US.13% committing 52% of the homicides. Are you saying 13% commits 52% of the homicides because the police is racist towards them? I'm saying police probably wouldn't be perceived as violent as they are if the black community didn't have such high crime levels.
European people have developed high trust societies over time and have been disarmed. Police has also been disarmed of lethal weapons in many places. There's no violence and gang culture in most of Europe as there exists in the US although American culture quickly follows in Europe, so, together with the open-border policies, this is also changing.
And if you read the second section of the critical review it states that the number one source for unwarranted racial disparity in sentencing is mandatory minimum sentences. So we have two things that black people get clocked for due simply to the colour of their skin. One being prosecutorial decisions and judiciary discretion. Thanks for the help. Funny enough my second study, which I posted a page back I believe, was a study by Michigan Law from 2014 which stated just the same thing. No one has?
One of the first hits on google was a critical review of this study. Source
But either way. They mention criminal history many times throughout the study, that's not what I'm saying. But they're just repeating themselves. I want to see sentences + criminal histories side by side and their respective influence on sentence disparity. I don't care about their explanations, want raw data. If they have the data, why didn't they use it on their data sheets and graphs.
And also, I don't have to do the homework of a study someone else posts in defense of his thesis.

Highest category is black on black for sure, but it can't be 52 - 52 for blacks when blacks are in every interracial category more often offender than victim. That's simply mathematically not possible. That’s what the fbi stats say. Don’t shoot the messenger. The highest category is black on black so maybe that splits the difference.
I said most of Europe. The murder rate of Russia and a few other european countries is higher than the US.
Alright, explain what mandatory minimum sentences are and how they negatively affect black people. My brain is too tired to keep up.And if you read the second section of the critical review it states that the number one source for unwarranted racial disparity in sentencing is mandatory minimum sentences. Just because you can't find it doesn't mean it's not there. I posted the academic source of my claim and that too the source being the USSC an authority on sentencing data. There's no other body in regards to sentencing research in the US higher than them. And again, if their claims are untrue than go call them and challenge them. I provided two academic studies to my claims. Now what were your claims again? Right, institutional racism doesn't exist. If that's the case why was I able to post two academic studies on sentencing disparities between white and black offenders?
That makes two of us. My wife has been telling me to get off VC for the last hour or so.Alright, explain what mandatory minimum sentences are and how they negatively affect black people. My brain is too tired to keep up.
You have two seperate issues. One is people being forced to go out when they don’t feel safe, the other is people choosing to go out despite whatever risk that might be. Weeks ago now I stated people should have the right to choose what works for them - go out or stay home - without penalty. Apparantly, you missed that. Troll. You haven't yet explained why you support grandma killers.George Floyd/Protests/Peace/Riots/Chaos
leave @justjess alone. she's just a little confused. What kind of parent puts their kid at risk A non hysterical mother. children's immune system is very strong. virus mortality in children is 0 (zero) per 100.000. No one should be above the law. Especially not those charged with enforcing it. Crushing someone’s neck for over eight minutes while they yell they can’t breathe and are already handcuffed is not an accident. The police deserve a medal for putting themselves in harm's way to protect and serve us decent law-abiding citizens..
The Floyd thing was just an accident, the cop had no way of knowing he was high on drugs and had a heart defect, so if he'd just shut his trap and quietly got in the police car without violently resisting arrest his heart wouldn't have given out.
If it was just about one guy, and one set of cops then the protests would be over. I agree. It’s not just about this one incident though, it’s a oft repeated pattern, and throwing people a crumb by charging these officers isn’t the whole point. You know that.thats not what these protests are about tho, because all the officers have been charged? so whats there to protest now, they achieved there goal, what else do the protestors want? lol, it makes 0 sense. u protest for a goal, u achieved ur goal, be happy.
Kelly thomas got no justice whatsoever, george floyd did.
